The cortado is real. The empanada is good.

You know a cafe is good when there is a queue! Fortunately we only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious, service was speedy and the price was very competitive. The pistachio latte was incredible, as was all the food. Can highly recommend.

Really good food and a nice vibe. Went for breakfast and was really impressed by the pancakes, thick and fluffy and they definitely don't skimp on the syrup or bacon, they did have a slight waffle press flavour (if you know what I mean, you know I mean) but they were really good. A really nice little place. It is small though so tables are limited, but they're worth waiting for.

Being a brunch enthusiasts and having visited quite a few places across the UK, this is definitely one of the best. I would recommend it to everyone! The food is just so delicious and generous with the portion and the cortado is really good as well!

Managed to get a seat today, we'd tried before but its always so busy, for good reason. Fantastic place, brilliant staff. Big choice of drinks and food. The pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup where delicious, my wife had avocado with poached egg on sourdough, she loved it. The pistachio latte was amazing.

Absolutely unreal.. still dreaming about the Turkish eggs😍 We usually don’t eat at the same place twice when on holiday, but we came back here again. I’d eat there everyday if I could! One of my favourite cafes I’ve ever been today, please open one in London!!

Such a lovely independent cafe. It’s located very close to the canal, the staff were very welcoming and everything on the menu was delicious I wanted to try it all! The service was quick and the prices for the food and drinks are very affordable in my opinion. Everything is made fresh including the drinks and I’m very much looking forward to coming back soon. Definitely recommend!

Don't know about the food or coffee. Too cramped. Nothing is labeled, asked what one of the dumplings had in it and was just chucked the menu. So I guess I'll browse through all the items on the menu whilst being shuffled around...

This was such a good choice for brunch! It was quite busy, but luckily when we walked in there was an open table! By the time we left there looked to be about 3 groups waiting. We ordered the iced chai, cortado, bacon bap, and eggs on sourdough. All were 5 stars! The chai comes from a local company and they sell the concentrate too. I had to buy one to bring home and the lovely barista gave me the exact instructions on how to make it the same way at home!! They had a help yourself water station which was great after a lot of walking. The toilet is downstairs, and the space was a little crowded, but I would definitely go back!

Pancakes were good! Would rate 7/10 little bit dry Flat white - 3/10 hated the coffee beans they used. Didn’t drink it Atmosphere - lacking and hated the non backed seats.

It was exactly what I needed for a comforting and stuffing breakfast. I was actually just passing by and the food menu just caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. Worth every penny, and some waiting time if you’re not lucky but it makes sense that this is a popular spot in town!

Cortado Café is a delightful find in Bath! I recently visited and was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The "2 eggs on sourdough toast" and "pancakes" were delicious – clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients. It's a popular spot, so there might be a short wait for a table, but it's well worth it. A great spot for a relaxed breakfast.

Lovely breakfast! We saw it was top of the trip advisor rankings so we headed there for our one and only breakfast in Bath! We had to wait a few minutes for a table- it’s quite the place to be! I ordered the home made granola fruit bowl and an almond croissant and cappuccino. The fruit bowl was fantastic and big enough for two! Husband had poached eggs on sour dough! £22 all in! It was all delicious and staff members were very nice too.

Great cafe but very small and busy. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. We had tiramisu pancakes and apple and cinnamon pancakes. The pistachio latte was also amazing. Tried to go again but too busy and couldn’t get a table unfortunately.

Great little cafe in town centre bath We popped in at 9.30am for breakfast and place was full, didn’t need to wait long for table but its cosy and busy. The pistachio latte was just perfect and I ordered the brunch Cortado breakfast on gluten free bread. Food presentation was great and generous portions left feeling very full. It’s worth a trip for great breakfasts and coffee

A lovely place to stop for a coffee in the heart of Bath

I had to write this review before I even left this fine establishment. My wife and I were looking for a brunch/lunch spot for a day trip in Bath and this place popped up. First, I want to say, this is ONE OF THE BEST lunch spots I’ve been to. The quality of the food is 10/10. The things I ordered: Cortado Brunch, the buffalo chicken empanada was a 10/10 if you come here you HAVE to try it. We also ordered the fluffy pancakes and it was so delicious. Some of the best pancakes I’ve had. The sweetness was perfect, the fruit was fresh and everything about this place including staff and vibes was a 10/10. SERVICE WAS FAST!! Will definitely come back! Thank you

Would highly recommend this brunch spot in Bath. It was very busy the day we went , however we weren’t queuing for long and was definitely worth the wait. The staff are super friendly and even though it was so busy they were very calm and cheerful. Would recommend the mushroom empanada !

I’ve been meaning to come here for a while and I can now say it’s my favourite cafe in Bath! Lovely and attentive staff, beautiful food and nice drinks! You have to try the romesco fried eggs on sourdough and the Turkish eggs. Can’t wait to go back!

El café estaba lleno, incluso a media tarde, que es una gran señal! Estaba agradecido de encontrar un lugar que sirvió comida un poco más tarde / después de la hora habitual de almuerzo. El servicio fue genial - personal amable y servicial. Pedimos el Cortado Brunch vegetal que venía con tomates de vid, champiñones, tostadas de masa madre (deliciosas) , 2 huevos (teníamos los nuestros escalfados) y halloumi. Fue una porción generosa y muy sabroso! Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras comidas. Había una vitrina de pasteles, ensaladas y solo un par de empanadas (llegamos demasiado tarde para esas! ) que todo se veía fabuloso! Podrías servirte el agua que me gustaba. Una gran experiencia. ¡La próxima vez que esté en Bath, haré una visita!

We enjoyed the delicious vegan mushroom empanadas, which were generously filled and balanced the thin, flaky pastry well. The avocado toast, topped with mushrooms, was also rich and flavorful. Additionally, the pancakes were outstanding, featuring a wonderful mix of textures and flavours. The service was exceptionally kind as well! After visiting numerous average cafes, it's nice to see some take it to the next level.

This is by far, the best brunch café in Bath! Staff is simply lovely! Their cappuccino is the only one we had at the perfect temperature, ready to drink. Their empanadas are delicious. But the top of our experience were the heartwarming fluffy pancakes with pistachio cream. They were top-notch! Nice atmosphere and chill music, too.

Nuestra segunda visita (disculpas me descuidé de una crítica la primera vez) y regresamos como recordamos el fabuloso pollo y paquetes de mezcla. Esta vez llegamos después de cerrar la cocina, pero estos chicos nos sentaron con delicioso café y algunos pasteles fabulosos. Para evitar desperdicios incluso nos sacaron un poco de slaw: wow, probablemente el mejor que he tenido. Aparte de la increíble comida y café, es el personal que hace este lugar, ya que se siente como si te recibieran amigos que no has visto en siglos. Gracias a todos, y mis mejores deseos para 2025.

Most amazing breakfast, what an amazing place, loved it.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Great service, great coffee, just can’t say enough good things to be honest! It was all really tasty. Had a very short wait when we got there as it was a busy Saturday morning but we were quickly seated at a table and able to order. Recommend if you’re in town!

Cortado Café in Bath is a must-visit! The coffee is exceptional, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience!

I had the best vegan pancakes I've ever had in my life here. The berries were bursting with flavour, the pancakes were fluffy and the granola was soft - it was a dream on a plate. My oat cappuccino was also first class and the chat from the staff was lovely. Beautiful modern decor too. Cortado is amazing.

Poached eggs on toast were stellar. Empanada was nice, although a bit less seasoned/spiced than I would expect of an Argentinian Empanada. Nice chai and espresso drinks. Not too easy to get a table during the morning hours, but a comfortable spot for breakfast if you can snag one.

We came for brunch on a Monday morning. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is of a very high standard. My bacon bap was very tasty, as was the granola and romesco eggs. Thank you.

I can’t believe that I have a passion to any kind of egg, but the egg that I ordered in Cortado Cafe was the best egg dish I have ever had in my entire life. I am regret to telling you that I can’t remember the name of the dish but it was a great fried egg with Spanish kind tomato sous under it with 4 pieces of well toasted bread. If you answer my comment, you can remind your dishes name, so other people can see and maybe I can search online try to cook it at home (I know I can’t cook like your one but it’s good to try) So, I don’t know if I can ever come back to Bath, but I will remember your restaurant all my life, and will try to find that perfect sous, who knows, maybe one day I go Spain and try it there as well. Thank you so much !

We four people went for breakfast in this cafe and found that the tables there were set as 2-people tables. Since it was a small shop, only the table at a corner could be combined into 4-people table. Even there were some empty tables in the shop, the waitress arranged a customer to take up one table in the middle of row of tables in that corner. Under such situation, we only have two choices, to leave or to wait. Until a table next to the customer's vacant, the staff requested us to squeezed into the 2-people table as we obstructed the walk way. By the way, the quality of food of this shop was not so good. It definitely does not dersrved 4.8 stars.

Vegan pancake was so fluffy and lovely I enjoyed a lot😍 The other 2 menus were also great taste especially maple syrup cinnamon latte was amazing!!!! I couldn't stop having it even it was not mine. Fantastic coffee, tasty empanadas and welcoming staff. Not the nicest place to sit as it's quite cramped inside (especially if you're with a group or have children in tow) but all the same worth stopping by!

The highlight here is definitely the empanadas - chicken & chorizo or the miso mushroom were our favourites. The coffee is fantastic too. We had breakfast here twice whilst in Bath which was great both times, but the empanadas were the reason we came back again

I loved this place! Can’t wait to come back! Had a Caramel Iced Latte with Oat Mill and I must say it is one of the best coffees I’ve tried in England. They had vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Opened early on the bank holiday so we had our delicious breakfast without having to wait until 10:00 like in other places.

We had brunch there a couple of times during our stay in Bristol and both the food and the coffee were spectacular. I totally recommend and they also serve it very quickly. Very friendly staff.
