A lot of pastry on Cornish pasty, heard a few swear words from behind in an accent, but I guess it was a bit busy. I was a little concerned, the front team were good. Coffee was nice a bit upset having to pay for a small sachet of brown sauce. I went to the toilet the corner was mucky behind the tap.

Wow. The food here is amazing, we had a ham hock roll, 2 traditional sausage rolls and a large tradition pasty between us and they were all delicious. We have been searching Stamford for a good cup of coffee and we have finally found the place! Lovely coffee and the milk was steamed perfectly with very pretty latte art. Couldn’t be happier will definitely be back 🫶🏻

Fantastic service and a good choice of yummy stuff to eat. They very kindly agreed to reserve an outside table for us as one of the party was disabled - they don't usually do this, but it made a huge difference to our day. Curried cauliflower pasties are yummy, and some of may have put away a scone with jam and cream as well! Thank you guys

My friend and I visited the bakery for lunch and it was excellent. Staff were friendly and quick to help despite it being busy. Food was lovely, very fresh and tasted great. Everything was very clean with a staff member cleaning tables as soon as someone left. Would definitely visit again.

Visited this pub for the first time, was amazed that all the food was home cooked, cannot remember the last time I’ve been in a pub that didn’t microwave everything, I had steak and ale pie, was really nice, portions were also big, you won’t be hungry and the prices are great. I live guiness, hard to find a decent pint outside Ireland, this is hands down the best guiness I’ve had in this area!!

Just ordered a sauage abd mushroom baguette. Awful greasy mushrooms that tasted and smelt like old oil. Totally spoilt my baguette as the oil soaked into the bread. No butter at all too.

Very nice spot for a lunch in a busy market square in a lovely town - where we wanted somewhere independent and with a bit of character. Found a table outside which was a perfect holiday moment spot. Good choice of sandwiches, good coffee. Best part though was climbing the stairs to the top floor of the ancient building to find the loo.

Been here several times for breakfast and lunch Lovely food, friendly staff and good coffee Nicely done out inside too If I was to have one criticism it’s the tea… it’s weak and I think you should offer a more “robust” bag for those that like strong tea Apart from not everyone wanting posh tea bags this is now our “go to brunch place” for good , hot and yummy food I can always drink the coffee instead!!

This was always our go to place for brunch and we were regular visitors Last two times… Had quiche and salad - quiche bottom was soggy and inedible, informed waitress who said that she would tell the chef and that’s likely to happen with the type of filling… ok soo stuff happens On next visit had soup and it was tasteless, no one came to check how the meal was and not possible to stop someone as busy busy. Ate the bread and left the soup. Mentioned it wasn’t good and couldn’t eat it when we paid, just said “oh sorry about that” And carried on We paid in full but was more disappointed in the way our feedback was taken… eg dismissed. could def be improved upon… same waitress both times Sadly we haven’t been back
