Cornhill Inn in Falkirk

We decided to go out for something to eat fairly last minute on a Saturday night and booked a table for 4 - we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal which was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and the service really good. They were also very flexible with menu options to accommodate vegetarians (as there wasn’t a great selection of vegetarian food on the menu). We have been before and forgot to leave a review which would have been equally as positive. We will definitely go back and recommend to others. 😊

Decided to stop in on way home to see if we could get a table for 2. Very obliging welcoming staff. Had a beautiful meal. I had grilled salmon with potatoes and fresh vegetables. My partner had gammon steak with egg, chips, musrooms. Delicious. We both had deserts which were freshly made too. Really great value for money so well be back soon. A wee gem in the centre of Bonnybridge.

Went in for a pint and was met with the only person I can assume is the local drunk. was sat at bar enjoying my drink but this individual ruined it by constantly telling me how "he could have me"!!! Maybe he could but I certainly won't be back

Yo hice Navidad cena para 5 en septiembre cuando llegamos sólo tenían una mesa para 4 y se preguntó qué hacer lo que quieres hacer al respecto? Eh lo siento! La mesa intentado poner una pequeña vuelta al final de mesas cuadradas, les dijo que no estaba pagando £50 por persona para sentarse en que me dijeron que por el propietario le había dado su día de Navidad para hacer esto?! Dios mío que es culpa era hacer una mesa con capacidad para 4 en lugar de 5? Se tomó mi y pago de depósito para 5!! Finalmente nos llevó una mesa de otra mesa de juego en el que no aparecía nadie para (ojalá nos había hecho lo mismo) sopa para empezar que camarero puso una cuchara en plato sucia para quitarla y mi marido tenía sólo paramos para comer, para tomar una fotografía. El campo, los niños cena principal era servido en un adulto y nunca lo noté por nosotros hasta el final de la comida, algunos dieron salchichas o relleno otros platos que faltaba! No platos o vasos/platillos de lado en la mesa? No nos ofrecieron té o café tras dulce como lo eran en demasiado tizzy tratando de mesas para la próxima estar ya dio sólo 1,5 horas por primera sesión. Menuda vergüenza, disfrutamos el año pasado y le pedí a mis padres para ir este año, ¡qué vergüenza me? Cena de Navidad fue arruinada y la actitud del propietario apesta ... nunca más estancia bien!!

Had lunch here this week and the food was nice with a varied menu (creamy pasta was very rich and very good). I used to eat here many years ago and it's been beautifully refurbished. Very child friendly and the staff were very helpful. Would recommend you give it a try.

Took my mum on a Saturday night for a birthday treat. Place looks great and from the sound of it the bar area was definitely busy. The restaurant however was next to empty. That apart, there was only one person on doing the bar, taking orders and running food. Even although it wasn't particularly busy,it was still too much for one person. Our attempts at engaging them in banter fell on deaf ears. Food was okay, but my husbands steak was a big disappointment. Shows promise,but please make sure you have enough staff on to make it an experience to remember for the right reasons.

Whole experience was awful, food just mediocre, very overpriced, poor value. Atmosphere was non existent, felt very unwelcome. Please bypass this place.

a well run family pub that serves good food and a fine range of beers

Went here a couple of months ago for a meal with my family, had the macaroni and it was absolutely delicious! My family also commented on their meals being great. Definitely a place that you feel comfortable in and the staff were very welcoming! Over all an excellent place for a meal and drinks locally!

This is a great restaurant that has recently been refurbished. Four of us went for dinner on a quite Wednesday night and found the service and food wonderful. The menu covers off a variety of meals with some specialities. One of our group fancied Black Pudding for a meal and was delighted it was on the menu. As well as al la carte they proved a set menu for extremely good value. They have a good drinks menu and a reasonable wine list. Over all the meal was served quickly and the staff were attentive. A great find for weary travellers.
