One friendly, smiley happy server and another that couldn't so much as acknowledge my presence as was too busy chatting to a customer to even say "take a seat, I'll send someone over"! Limited menu options/items and we also felt cheated on the hot drinks, which are served in v. short cups and weren't full. Overall unimpressed and wouldn't recommend or return.

Very friendly service, lovely lunch, relaxing surrounds, great coffee, very convenient and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit very much and the owners went out of their way to look after us and make sure we enjoyed our visit. We sat inside but outside areas were also inviting and would be perfect on a sunny day. We will be back and we are looking forward to sampling more of the menu.

Fabulous place off the beaten track where food and service were fabulous. Superb Coffees, sandwiches and cakes they also do jacket potatoes and a hot meal of the day plus savory pastries of different sorts. Excellent meeting place for a walk around the Gogs or along the Roman road. Highly recommend.

Visited on a Thursday lunchtime. Very nice little cafe with plenty of space outside. Good range of food - the sausage bap sandwich was one of the best I have had in a long while. Coffee was also very good. Nice friendly and quick service ..... When we were there it got particularly busy around 1pm but when we arrived just after 12 noon was plenty of space despite the required distancing. An excellent find and well worth a detour (it is well signposted when arrive and even offers a drive through facility)

Absolutely brilliant hot food and service. Freshly cooked meals and proper coffee. As a native Italian I must admit this is the best cappuccino I've ever had outside my homeland. It's the attention to detail that I appreciate, instead of topping the cappuccino with chocolate dust they use chocolate flakes! I mean who does that? Love it. The cafe also has its own homemade chilled sandwiches selection and happen to serve the best canned drink know to mankind, the San Pellegrino lemonade. If you happen to be driving down the M11 or passing by definitely call in for a break. Great value and convenient location. 10/10

Excellent meal set in garden surroundings. The party of cyclists stopped for midday refreshment and were treated to a variety of meals from Crab Salad to BLT sandwiches. Every meal was well prepared with the best ingredients and freshly cooked. The dishes were served by very friendly staff who tended to our requests. This was a midweek visit and it was quite busy but the meals were quickly served.

Popped into Copley Hill Cafe whilst on a lovely circular walk from home. This was our first visit and we were impressed, everywhere was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful- my wife has gluten free diet and they explained how they can manage gf toasties and sandwiches etc. Our coffees and cakes were delicious- we will be going back. Note: open between Monday to Friday. Toilets were spotless.

We stopped off here last week after a walk and I can thoroughly recommend the place. The food is standard cafe fare - quiche, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, salads. The staff are all very sweet and friendly, and the food is all homemade and reasonably priced. I had two sausage rolls to die for (a world away from Greggs), absolutely bursting with flavour, and my friend loved her slice of Victoria sponge. There is plenty of outside seating too so great for dog walkers.

We called in when driving on the way to Cambridge for a quick coffee and the food looked so good we stayed for lunch. We will be back to take advantage of the meeting rooms as travelling into Cambridge is such a nightmare that this is the perfect place to meet. The children were thrilled to see a helicopter taking off from the nearby field behind the coffee shop.

What a little gem ! A wonderful find as we were planning a day out shopping in Cambridge. A very clear café sign off the road led us into heart of the well kept grounds of Copley Hill Business Park . The Cafe is very welcoming from the outside and once inside the decor was light and airy which had obviously been designed by someone with a good eye , and it even had a piano playing gently in the corner .The staff were very attentive and suggested the dish of the day which was scrumptious !An extra bonus was the wonderful pottery which one was able to purchase in lead up to Christmas .A real breath of fresh air , great menu and well priced..We will certainly be dropping in again on our next excursion to Cambridge.Marvellous !

We found this coffee shop by following the signage off the motorway on our way into Cambridge. We really enjoyed our visit. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Cambridge, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and healthy and there was something for the entire family. The photos showing the history of the farm were very interesting and we enjoyed great coffee and cake over the papers and returned the following day for lunch. We look forward to returning when we are in the Cambridge area again.

On a recent return to the UK we are doing our usual thing of travelling the back roads and exploring when we discovered this hidden beauty. It is always hard to get a good coffee in the UK and this one certainly changed that. Great coffee and home made cakes along with a pleasant location made this a welcome stopover before continuing our exploration of the area.Worth a stop.

If its a quick stop for a coffee before an appointment at Addenbrooke's, meeting friends or work colleagues, Copley Coffee Barn is ideal. Ease of parking comes as a great relief from the usual problems of central Cambridge. The high grade coffee is wonderful as so often this can be a let down. The staff were very happy to adapt any drink or food item to suit and can even cater for those with allergies. It's a real find and takes the stress out of a trip to Cambridge!

We'd passed the signs on our way into Cambridge a number of times and keep meaning to stop - and last week we took our chance. Loads of parking available, with friendly staff, this cafe is light and airy with tables both inside and out.Food was made to order with plenty of choice, we had home made soup which came with a stack of bread and butter followed by home made cake (Banana and Carrot was excellent) and coffees. Good value and would definitely make the stop again. Highly recommended.

The coffee barn is sited on a business Park(copley Hill) approx 2 miles past Addenbrookes hospital and sign posted from the road. Follow signs in the business Park to the coffee barn. There is ample free parking. There is seating inside and picnic benches outside in a small courtyard under ornamental cherry trees. The staff are really pleasant and polite. There is good disabled access. It's is very clean and tidy throughout. All food I am told by the staff is sourced locally where possible and is very fresh and made to order, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and a selection of cakes. The coffee is good,if you like decaffeinated coffee it's very good! And roasted locally.Competitively priced. If your that side of Cambridge it worth popping in.I have taken friends and family there and everyone has liked it.It is open Monday to Friday.

Preface - I have an onion allergy. It’s a real pain to deal with because, as I’m sure you know, onion is in literally everything. That didn’t deter the team at The Chequers though, our waitress went away and returned shortly thereafter with an annotated copy of the menu showing me exactly what had onion and what didn’t, for which I’m very grateful. The burger I had was delicious, my companions food equally so based on the satisfied noises they were all making, and the toffee and apple cheesecake for dessert was great as well. I’ve been going to the Chequers quite literally all my life, and I shall continue to do so, whether in company or solo. Thanks for a night of great food, great drink, and exemplary customer service (Amelia - thanks again ☺️ very much appreciated)

It was a Thursday lunch time when I visited. It was quiet with only four or five other customers. I was served quickly by friendly staff. The cheese scone and cake were good as was the coffee. The prices were reasonable making it reasonable value for money. Free WiFi was available, always a plus. Quite nice smart rustic decore, if that is not a contradiction. There is also an outside area to sir. I feel a bit mean 'only" giving it four stars; my head says it deserved five but my heart stopped giving it the full quota of stars. I have visited several times since my first visit, the latest in January 2022. In this latest visit I had a cherry frangipane tart and it was sublime; a nice crispy crust, soft frangipani, plenty of succulent cherries and a delicious pastry base. For this reason I have increased my initial 4-star review up to five. July 2022 - still great. June 2023 - still just as good. September 2023 - still great.
