Cooplands Bridlington Chapel Street in East Riding of Yorkshire

When this cafe 1st opened within cooplands next door to the new B n m's and railway station it was so lovely and clean, we were served within 5 minutes and the food was good. Then B n m's opened, what a disaster, we visited on Saturday the 11th of November about 1.15pm for our lunch, it was total chaos only 2 people serving and hardly any choice of pasties/sausage rolls etc, all the trays were empty, it took 15 minutes to get served and when we went to sit at a table to eat, every single table was filthy, rubbish and food all over the floor, disgusting! We won't be visiting here again, it's only been open a few months and it has gone to the dogs! Such a shame because it was a lovely cafe for the 1st month, but now they just can't cope with the footfall! Please clean up and fast!!!!!

We went in for a sandwich and mentioned my allergy. The lady advised what was safe, cleaned all the surfaces and changed gloves and made sure I was safe. Also asked if we wanted a meal deal which was great value for money and really tasty. Many thanks for all your help and for taking safety so seriously. Much appreciated.

Called here for a morning cuppa and a bacon roll, it was freshly cooked bacon in a lovely soft fresh roll with loads of bacon. Would recommend and staff very friendly.

We found the Secret Garden Cafe by accident what a find. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help you. We try to go at least once a week.

I had a good breakfast a couple of times here whilst staying nearby, it comes with tea or coffee and toast [before 11am]. The downstairs bakery provided a few good lunches / teas, too.

First time here, friendly staff, lovely clean premises and clean toilets. My husband had a breakfast and I had jacket potato with Prawns and sauce, both were very enjoyable. Will be back again. Thank you secret Garden.

Pizza had just come out the oven and the member of staff decided to put in a bag come home to eat it and there is no topping on it because it’s stuck to the bag and my member of family has just said that there is a hint of cheese and tomato on her sausage rolls

Bought 2 mince pie's just now got home made a cup of tea sat down to eat pies. Very unhappy the amount of mincemeat inside was absolutely diabolical a complete rip off. We use cooplands in Bridlington 2/3 times a week. Won't be using as much now would rather support a local independent business.

We always use Copland for all our cakes, rolls,salads and pies, always very good value for money, my grandson only eats cooplands sausage rolls !! Staff are always friendly and helpful, also in my opinion they do the best cherry Danish pastries.

We stopped by the Cooplands upstairs cafe last week and we had a bite to eat. Compared to Boyes across the road it was quite expensive, had a lot less choices and the service was not half as efficient or friendly. Perhaps they were having a bad day!

I came with my family and we all had nice hot drinks. Quite busy and not enough seating for the demand. We went to have lunch and My sister is gluten free. There was no options apart from jacket potato or omelettes, which is very poor. I would suggest buying in gluten free bread so that there is more variety on the menu. As it wasn’t fair that we all could eat apart from her. The cafe is nice but nothing special.

Omlette, a nice cup of coffee and a reasonable price. Great selection of pastries for the kids too and friendly service. Would go again!

We visited Bridlington and was very surprised to see two Cooplands very close together. Love the choice of sweet things and they do have a large selection of cakes to choose from on display inside.Friendly helpful staff who give you time to make your mind up. Love the rolls too as they are always fresh.
