Cooplands in Leeds

We were visiting Wetherby for the first time and popped in to buy some sweets. Very bad experience. One of the ladies was kind of rude and when I tried to be nice she pretended not to understand and made the atmosphere very awkward. If I come back to Wetherby, definitely won't be visiting this establishment again.

The produce in this store is always of a good standard and delicious. The value for money and taste/variety of their salad boxes is fabulous. Beats all other expensive food outlets, hands down. Thank you x

Pasties are just constantly cold when you go in wether morning or evening for lunch, I find.some members of staff rude when they serve you, also when I've been in and asked for a particular bread (white) when they have had it in to make me a sandwich I took it back to work and it was on (brown) poor standards of customer service

Really lovely staff, Kerry is a credit to the business. Just a shame they had no cheese straws on my way into work this morning.

quite surprised by the low rating. a lady working there was so kind and once gave me an extra yum yum for free since they were closing and another time still gave me the goods even tho I was a little short. their yum yums are to die for!

Gave my wife an undercooked sausage sandwich, Sausages were still pink! Echo the comments about the slow service. Don't go in if you're in any kind of hurry

Visiting wetherby Monday afternoon wanted to purchase 6 sandwiches to take home for picnic in garden it was 245 was refused as 2 sandwiches already made up in fridge .3 staff stood doing nothing no one else in shop .Couldn't purchase as prepacked had tomato in and daughter is allergic.Disgusted with service will not be returning.

Your usual cooplands goods. My god are they slow at serving.

Cooplands is a fantastic bakery, but having visited Wetherby a few times this last week, I must say they really are a lovely bunch of ladies who work here. Amazing food and fabulous staff too. What more could you want. These ladies are a credit to your business 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ps you must try their Danish Pastry..

Come here every day. The staff are lovely and helpful. Food is always nice and they always make me up fresh if I want something different to sandwiches already out. They get busy and get to you asap, never stood about doing nothing.

Incredibly rude and lethargic staff who weren't happy about having to make a sandwich (in a shop that sells freshly made sandwiches). Got my order wrong in two different ways. Avoid.

If I had more than two pieces of bacon in my large sarnie it would have been five stars. But their Belgian Buns are excellent.

Rode into Wetherby this afternoon . Market day in the Shambles. A bit like York. Ordered a selection of rolls, teas , coffee and other snacks. All freshly made . Polite and efficient staff . Great quality and prices that would put Cotsa Coffee etc to shame. Will be returning and looking out for other Cooplands outlets in the future.

The food was good (hence the one star) however, we are seriously concerned that there must be a carbon monoxide leak in the building. The unadulterated lethargy of the staff was excruciating. We can only assume that they were in the midst of a world record attempt for making the worlds slowest sandwich ever. Even if I wasn’t in a rush, visiting Cooplands Wetherby was a sacrifice of too greater proportion of my life. Needless to say, my bacon and cheese pastry was stone cold.

Bought a loaf on Saturday and best before 7th it was so dry and stale not even fit for toasting

This is surely the best patisserie for miles around. We love it. Assistants are very busy but they always give me good service.

Lovey shop, far better than another well known chain bakery. Recommend the Danish pastry as a weekend treat. Staff are friendly and helpful.
