We looked for a bar in Southport with music. We stumbled on Coopers. There was a cracking band on. The place is quite intimate and everyone was friendly. We’ll definitely go again.

We booked thinking Sunday lunch with Jazz was on offer. The Jazz was great but no Sunday lunch, however, the alternate tapas was just delicious, much better than we could possibly of imagined. Well done to the team.

This is a fantastic music venue, with a friendly atmosphere, a fairly priced bar and the best pizza in town. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys live music and good company. I have had some very good times in Coopers!

Coopers isn’t just another bar, Coopers is a proper live music venue. Sundays are a particular treat with live jazz in the afternoon. The exterior is very underwhelming and if I didn’t know better I would walk past such a bar. Their advertising is weak, it’s not that straightforward to find out what’s on, this possibly is intentional, gives it a bit of a speakeasy secret bar feel. Because once you walk through the door your transported into a buzzing, friendly environment packed with music lovers. It’s clearly a hub for local musicians and on open mic night you can see some quality performances. Southport seems to be slowly developing some nice little music venues.

We had a great night in Cooper's Wine Kellar, great staff, food, drinks and live music. Highly recommend the Moscow Mule. We can't wait to return!

We had the best Sunday lunch (beautiful beef) with a smooth IPA and live jazz (they played Giant Steps and Autumn Leaves on request)

Coopers is a lovely little bar. Interior is gorgeous and feels very cosy, the food is unreal (I had a Sunday roast!). Staff are very friendly and prices are good. Even caught a little bit of live music which was great

Wanted to visit for some time, but only stayed for one! Sweet cosy bar but let down by small serving area and irritated local because we were in his space for about 2 minutes.

Nice local bar with welcoming staff and unusual selection of beers. The live music was on when we were there and we enjoyed it. Nice change from a chain pub.

Can’t fault this place. Best breakfast food you’d get anywhere in the world. But it’s the very lovely service you get here that makes it so special. Croziers loves their customers and that comes across. On that note, the Earl grey tea is awful. Other brands out there do a lot better. Bird & Blend, maybe Williamson’s. I’ll have coffee next time
