I ordered the chicken meat in a tray. I had expected it to be in a tray but it was all on top of each other in a box. There was a lot of food which is good but I just found it very messy. I just had a few bites and left it. Salad just consisted of a few strands of lettuce mixed in with the food. I didn’t enjoy it for me personally. I think I opened it at the wrong end so it slopped everywhere. I won’t order that again now I know what it comes like. I’m sure nice for other people.

It’s normally 10/10 top quality fish n chips but tonight the fish n batter was quite soggy and didn’t really enjoy it ..

The food was about 2 hours late and I called them and they blamed me when they didn’t follow the delivery instructions. After they said they will re send it it took another 40 minutes. It was good food but I was extremely disappointed with the service and it made me incredibly annoyed and unhappy.

Food was good delivery was good could have been better but that’s me being picky

Had a big order so received a free bottle of Coke so that was a really lovely surprise. Also our delivery driver wished my little boy a happy birthday because he saw the banner on the door. That made such a difference and went a long way. Thank you.

We have just had a treat Fish n Chips, the last time we had Fish n Chips was at the seaside and that’s a hard act to follow The delivery guy was very nice and it turned up on time piping hot and the Fish n Chips were lovely and massive size portions 10 out of 10 for making our Saturday night treat well worth it 👍👍👍

Normally good and we do use them often but tonight was poor Order was very late and Luke warm not good at all Like I said we use them often and normally it's good tonight was not the normal quality We will use them again hope it's better next time

wow this place has gone down hill by far the worst takeaway since miving to radstock ive lived her 15years the kebab was aweful greasy bland cold and hardly any salad chips all stuck to paper and mushy burger was over cooked id say yesterday very bad

Had sausage and chips and it tasted like they'd been fried in burnt oil,my wife couldn't eat it.Also in my opinion it all looks pretty overpriced on the menu.

The quality of food was poor stale chips.all cold except mushy peas which tasted sour and vile the fish tasted bad sour old gone off! Chicken was only ok..Had to chuck it away we couldn’t eat it! Had food from here before but never as early as today so I can only assume it’s lunchtime…really bad experience also I vomited and just eat refund £6 credit ???? I spent £30 and had to chuck it and cook a meal for us all…not happy as it’s usually nice food

I couldn’t eat any of it. It was really bad. I think it was frozen fish overcooked horrible taste watery curry sauce. Usually the food is okay but tonight a big no.

Took two hours from ordering to deliver bar 5 minutes. I understand they were busy and the food was ok when we received it. But when having to wait over an hour on the original order time, I would expect them to arrive when predicted not 40 mins late

the problem was the app and the shop after me calling the shop 15 times with no reply food was cold .not really my thing so no thanks

Great allergy information honest fish and chips, Donner and chips, scampi etc etc. great little chippy which packs a punch.

We got our food very quickly but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The Chicken was overcooked to the point of burnt, cheesy chips were cold with unmelted grated cheese on top and the rest of the food, although hot, was overcooked and chewy. A real shame as their food is usually okay (never amazing but hot and adequate if you’re hungry and want something quickly)

The lateness of orders is getting worse… you have an estimated delivery time, so you place the order, then that time is extended by half an hour when it’s accepted then it’s late by another 15mins /half hour… by the time you get the order it’s too late to eat… it’s not difficult !! Don’t advertise a time which is so obviously wrong !!!

Highly recommended if you like waiting 2 and a half hours for delivery, only to receive cold food coated in raw batter. Hideous. Expensive. Inedible.

Ordered at 4.40 hoping to get in before the rush, was told on the app that delivery time would be 5.55. OK last weekend of holidays must be busy...6.20 still no food, text saying sorry for delay. I ring to be told delivery persons car broke down waiting for girlfriend. Food would be with me in 15 mins. App now says food delivered but we haven't had it. Time is 6.55 so 2 hours have gone by no food. Full refund needed. Plus good will vouchers

Food was barely worm and the 5.99 chicken was tinny and over cooked to the point it was uneatable it was so hard

Chips were cold and old, 1 bottle of fanta missing. Took over an hour to be delivered. But on the plus side, the sausages and burger were absolutely lovely!

Food was awful the sausages were disgusting and dry the kebab was absolutely horrendous meat was cold and Paul and the salad was slimy. Chips had all black ends and were dry and tasted stale avoid this place wish I ordered across the road

First visit under the new management. Good sized piece of Haddock at £8.30, cod was same price. Skin on, just how I like it. Potato scallops goods, but maybe drop the price for buying multiples. Didn't get salt or vinegar as I prefer adding at home. Tesco Finest tartare

Really tasty food and thankfully arrived much earlier than the estimated time (which was over an hour - we live less than 5 minutes away). Great value, too.

We had a Bag of chips missing from the order , the pies were not labeled so we didn’t know which one was steak & kidney and which one was Beef & Onion , the food was cold and the distance for delivery wasn’t far .

Really decent Chippy now, new management have really turned it around. Good sized portions, chips are always decent, fish is well cooked in good batter. Potato Scallops are lovely too. Friendly staff and speedy service too.

The worst customer service! Ordered food at 6.30 pm and got someone else's order delivered tried to call numerous times with no success as no one answering the phone!

Food was very tasty. The only problem was that I originally had an estimated time of 8.50pm for delivery. But then the time moved, later twice. Food didn’t arrive until 9.50pm.

Was 15 mins late pasted the later expected time. Told it was a 35/45 min wait and then suddenly went up to 1 hour and 30. Order at 7.30 came at 9.15. But was claimed to be delivered on time

We have ordered 3 times now from Coomend Fish Bar and each time has been as good as the last order. Plenty of food for your money, everything cooked amazing and its nice to have Doner meat and chips with proper chips instead of fries! The sauce isn't overpowering but just that right about. Perfect amount of salad which tastes fresh. Couldn't ask for anything to be honest. Definitely will order again.

Quality good sized piece of cod cooked to perfection. The cod roe, battered sausage and chips were spot on too. Nice friendly guys that are open on Sunday too. Bon appetite!

Ordered at 7:15 got here at 9 delivery time was 8:15-8:25 only got here as we had to call them as ask where it was, app said it was here and enjoy the food when we didn’t have it. When we did get it food was cold

The order had not arrived at the time stated, i rang the shop and they said it would be at least another hour as only had one driver due to one breaking down. We have had this story from them before, so cancelled the order as it would have been way too late for us. We will never order from them again.

Nice food but overpriced chips for the portion received. Should have a large chips option without curry sauce at a cheaper price
