Cool Beans Cafe in Torridge

We visited the beautiful village pub last Saturday, 19th April.we were recommended this pub by Becca from the campsite. It was so welcoming. We phoned and booked a couple hours before when we arrived at the campsite. We would definitely recommend and visit again. The whole village was so welcoming. I can honestly say I've never been to a village like it, so beautiful.

Cute little café with excellent service.

Good service. Plenty of outside tables. Very friendly staff.

Sunday carvery. Seated in the bar quite a long way from the carvery so a bit of a distance to carry the food back to the table. Plate size for the carvery could be considered child size. Deserts portions seemed to be half the size of what they used to be. We were not asked if we enjoyed the meal when we paid which is a first.

Pizza was loaded to the full and the base was nice. Pity the quality of the filling was so poor. The 'meat' looked like pellets of dried food. Pity, it looked good tasted pretty horrible. Threw most of it in the bin
