Classic menu selection and consistent the majority of the time. However, the food is always a rare treat for the soul, got to love the size of the Chicken Fried Rice portions and the Curry Sauce tubs.

Half decent food. The special fried rice was just fried rice. At least they didn't give us raw food like the Chinese opposite. It was just ok if certainly bland.

Ordered number 34, duck, and 40, beef with fried rice. Large portions and very good taste. My recommendation...

Thai red curry was awful. Didn't taste like a Thai curry at all. Chicken fried rice and samosas were VERY salty. Sweet and sour and Kung pao Chicken was ok, but chicken was very dry. Wouldn't return.

Regular customer to Cookies as I live locally, decent and tasty food, good portion sizes for a decent price and staff always say hello. Speaks for itself when people drive from surrounding towns and villages to get a takeaway there. Can't beat it! Will keep going there as long as I'm about.

Bbq sauce is absolutely amazing and very good prices

Couldn’t pay me to come back here ordered a munchie box took a hour to arrive when it did the chicken balls was pure raw the batter wasn’t even cooked it was mushy phoned back up and told them about it and was told straight what do you want me to do about it even though I have been ordering out there for years now was called a liar through the phone took the raw chicken balls down to there shop and left them on the counter to prove they was raw will never go back again

Was recommended this takeaway by a fellow trucker. Opted for the beef chow-mein (having been assured it did not contain mushrooms - my rare allergy). Quite a bit more expensive than I pay near home BUT, WOW was it worth the money. Loads of succulent, tasty beef, superb noodles, just enough onions and beansprouts. During my travels in the RAF, as a tourist to many parts of the world and, more recently as a trucker travelling the UK, this is the best beef chow-mein I have ever had. Thanks to all at Cookies.

Great food it's the first time I've eaten out of here in around 30 years after moving away from the area but I thought I'm on holiday let's see if it's the same and what a blast from the past it was the food was excellent and very good portions as well a big five stars from me ,my son loved it as well and he's a very picky eater but he got stuck in no problem at all two very satisfied customers

THIS CHINESE DO NOT CARE ABOUT COMPLAINTS WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT A WRONG ORDER THEY TOLD ME TO GO TO ANOTHER CHINESE FOR WHAT I WANTED.THE "FRIED RICE" WAS BOILED AND NOT THE BEST.

Picked up a takeaway this evening and ordered the Thai chilli sweet and sour chicken. The meal had a really bizarre smell and actually tasted like soap. I gave it to my partner to check whether it was just me and when he tasted it, he actually spat it out. Sadly, it was inedible and we shared the other meal instead. No idea what made it taste like that but don't think I'll be returning soon...

I go here often even though it’s 13 miles away and have never been disappointed! The rice is the best around cooked to perfection 👌🏽 I had the sweet and sour pork Cantonese and it’s up there in the top ten without a doubt! Well worth a visit for great food 🙏🏽😋

Just purchased a Beef Chow Main from Cookies and the meat is tough as old boots. Full of grissle. The actual chow main was near flavourless. This is NOT the quality I usually get from cookies.
