The grill fish is really tasty, a good place to have dinner with friends.

This time I ordered grilled fish. It was delicious. It was better than the one in Beijing. It was just in time to eat it in Chongqing. The boss was also very enthusiastic.

BEST authentic Chinese food!!! Highly recommend the 香辣肥肠 (spicy intestines) and 回锅肉 (twice cooked pork) they’re my favorite! We drove 2 hours from Cornwall because I was craving authentic spicy Chinese lol and it was so worth it. Will definitely be returning ❤️❤️

Food is 10/10, but sometimes service is painfully slow and sometimes there are noisy kids out front. But food is 10/10 so I keep going.

Just went through the menu outside after checking the opening timings at 21:15. Time was showing until 10. Staff just came to the front door,locked it and turned the lights off. Could have just told us they are about to close if they are not happy to serve. Feeling insulted.

Best Chinese restaurant in Exeter. The owners of the restaurant who are a couple are very nice and friendly. Food is excellent and very authentic. Would highly recommend.

Unbelievable food. Had the boiled fish with spicy broth. My lips burned but my goodness was it worth it. Excellent service too - the waitress was very accommodating.

Omg a bowl of rice is £2.5! So little rice so expensive. If you see this restaurant, just run away! Or take rice from your home.

The restaurant seemed to be absolutely dead when I had visited, my father and I were the only customers. The food was alright, from what I've heard it seems to be authentic and was definitely on the spicy side which made it really enjoyable on a cold evening. The main reason I am rating this place 2 stars is because of the ambience, the cleanliness and the waitress. The place seems to have no vibe to it with very little invested in the interiors, the table I was sat on was dirty from the spillage of a previous patron of this restaurant, the waitress did not clean it but rather provided us with some tissues to clean it ourselves. She was obviously a student doing this part time so I don't expect the most enthusiastic of moods but honestly her behavior was quite astonishing and left a bad taste in my mouth. The portions are huge and are priced equally so, another reason I was a bit displeased with the experience was it was hard to communicate with the staff as I don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese. It's definitely on the expensive side as well which is one of the many reasons I would not be going back here again!

The best Chinese restaurant in Exeter and why not the whole of England. We ate the fish pot and it is amazing 😻. Service is top class and the food super delicious . By the way their son is amazing 😻we had a good chat with the little Samuel .

I think one of the most interesting restaurant in Exeter, first of all it's an authentic chinese food, family owned restaurant, they cook, serve, manage the restaurant, I really enjoy eating here, we together with chef decided to my mail, and he adjusted the food same as I like it, I definitely recommend this place.

No 1 destination for affordable, authentic Chinese food made by a multitasking chef / janitor / cashier / waiter / babysitter for a vomiting toddler and an angry baby. We support a hardworking Chinese queen.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Was very busy and we just sat and relax while waiting for our food. Ordering is by tick box on the menu and there was plenty of choice. Both mild and spicy, seemed quite spicy though. However it was delicious and would really like to go back and try different combinations. Hygeine rating is 5 and you should not be put off by the simple and homely decor or the small child that likes to help you pay by using your card on the machine..they give it back.

The food was tasty and the portion sizes were decent, but I constantly had to change my order because they said they ran out of certain ingredients. Also hygeine wise, this place is not very sanitary. The floor was a little messy when I went and the cup I was given for tea was very dirty.

Been here twice and absolutely love the food. If you want real authentic Sichuan food this is the place to go.

This place is like one of those simple "Mom&Pop" Restaurants you find all over Asia. Very simple unpretentious layout but with delicious food. The great thing about this place is that there is actually no menu but in stead you select your own ingredients... Just a word of warning the spicy options are pretty warm, yes even the mild two chilli option.. The prices ranges between £9 and £11 with a standard can costing £1.50. All in all a very tasty good value meal....Thanks guys.

Brilliant. My first visit last night and the food here is really good. I live the way you build your own meal off the menu card. Good value for money. Friendly too.

Have been half a dozen times now. Consistently some of the most exciting food in Exeter and the prices are very fair. The staff are incredibly friendly and it makes the whole experience a complete joy. My kids adore the hot pot, which is packed with flavour and sociable. In a different league to places like Wagamama, which offer dumbed-down flavours. The fact that you can bring your own drinks only adds to the pleasure.

This is a great restaurant with friendly staff. We have only been in once for hotpot, but it was arguably the best hotpot in town. Highly recommend!

Interesting menu with a large selection of options including things for vegetarians and vegans. Food was served very quickly and at a great price. Beware that there are some translation errors on the menu so ask before you confirm your order. 👍

If you want a cheap but decent noodle, it’s not a bad place

Amazing experience with the food that you have chosen cooked to order the way you want. You choose the base and then add up to 9 other ingredients, all authentic Chinese. Not much seating space. Highly recommended

I love this restaurant and would give it five stars for the normal food there such as the selection of dishes cooked in the bowl of soup noodles. However with regards to their grilled fish hot pot which used to be very authentic, I have to give them 2 stars instead. This is due to them switching the fish from saltwater fish to tilapia which is unsuitable for this Chinese delicacy. Not only that, they even deep fry the tilapia instead of marinating and grilling it. This completely deprives the fish from properly absorbing the taste of the soup. Their grill fish hot pot is not authentic at all. It was much better in the past when they didn't use tilapia. It is not true that saltwater fish is unavailable in summer because they are commonly sold year round in tropical countries such as Malaysia and Thailand.

Great value for money, amazing food. By far the most authentic Chinese food/hotpot you can find in Exeter.

£5 for a warming, hearty, delicious soup where you can choose from a wide selection of broths, noodles and 5 toppings (proteins and veg). Portions are generous and once mistakenly got a large size to take away and it was enough for 2 people. Have not tried it yet but was told by one of the cooks that there's apparently also a secret option to choose a number of the toppings which they will cook up for you (not soup, looked like chilli stir fry of some sort) to have with rice for £10. Have not tried it but they also do hot pot if you want to eat in...but not the nicest ambience to sit and have a meal.

This place is ace: hotpot just like you get it in the mother country. Change from a tenner. Brilliant.
