By far the best chippy around. Great as always. Good sized portions and reasonably priced.

I was a loyal customer but omg couldn't even eat there food tonight my curry was bland greasy and my chicken was slimy I think I am off chines for a while . Just had chippy from them wasn't cooked right had to finish cooking it in my air fryer would have rather bought frozen fish and chips would have tasted better

In Germany we would say “chinese fries shop”, but without fries. There is a wide variety of Chinese food here, from chicken to duck to prawns. It's a take and away, so the ambience is only three stars.

Wow Beyond expectations. Had a few chippy teas here that were good. Tonight braved it and went for the chinese. Started off with the spring rolls that were spot on. Mains were so full of quality and flavour and volume. Well done. In the words of arnold schwarzenigger "if it bleeds....we can kill it" Awesome

Not very clean, full of kids serving more interested in eating the food themselves than serving customers. One stuffing fried rice in her gob and another got food served before I did.... the paying customer! Glad my money is keeping you in a job! Never saw them wash their hands either at any time, no gloves on while taking money and serving food... Won't be back and total waste of money stay away!

Fish was ok for what fish was their...covered in a not edible hard batter. Chips had seen better days, lots of already cooked chips to be seen thru the back store. Usually quite good but we wont be back. Expensive for bad food.

Great place and a great selection of chippy and chinese

So ordered two fish and chips, one average the other pathetic overcooked an waithed 40 mins after paying … they forgot our order… but one fish had obviousl been cooked yesterday see photo.. dont buy here

The Conon Takeaway is hands down the best fish n chip shop in town! Their fish is always fresh, crispy, and delicious, and the chips are perfectly cooked every time. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I highly recommend trying their fish and chips; you won't be disappointed!

Yuk, food tasted like so weird. Strange taste afterwards woke up bad stomach ache, definitely old oil used that Is for sure and the price we pay for such food, it should be Good! If lived closer, I'd definitely ask about kitchen standards and demand money back. Very disgusting! Staff at till and who takes calls are pleasent they are great but cooks come on guys get a tight grip of yourselves it's not the first time either and I'm not the only one.

They advertise using local produce!!! I left tonight very disappointed. This chippy is not what it use to be. The burger was horrendous. The fish was not fresh and portion size shockingly small for the amount payed. The young girl behind the counter was more interested in taking selfies with her friend than taking orders. The old conon chippy people would travel to go there. Well it's a real disappointment now. Over priced rubbish. I cannot even rate it below a one star.

Went here for a late dinner tonight. Nothing was cooked fresh! Fish had been reheated and was tasteless, the chips were just as nasty!! Crispy and rubbery!!!! I don’t normally go out of my way to write a bad review, but this was by far the worst chippy I’ve ever had in my life!! Randoms who don’t work there we’re sitting on the unit behind the counter in high vis work gear! Very unhygienic!! I however snuggled this behaviour off, as I’d heard good things about the food here, and I was starving! The whole experience was very disappointing

You might think that a takeaway that does Chinese and a chip shop menu might not pull of either very well but this is seriously one of the best Chinese takeaways anywhere in Scotland. Add to that a quality chip shop with fast friendly service and no one can be disappointed.

Food not great and price to high cost £17 FOR 2 FISH SUPPERS

The folk here work really hard under pressure - the place was packed out at ~6pm Saturday but my dad always recommended going to the one with the queue (because the locals would know). The menu (for the chippy side - it's also a Chinese takeaway) is typically broad (including the Scottish tricolour of white, black and red puddings - very rare in other parts of the UK). The only omission was a deep fried macaroni pie or battered Mars bar. We had a fish supper, white pudding supper and smoked sausage supper. The latter also is something rare outside Scotland, resembling a bratwurst rather than a standard big banger. The wait was worth it - thank you!

First time I have used this place just fancied a Chinese takeaway thi place was recommended,food was great will come here again.

Good selection of Chinese food and Western chipshop food. Portions are good size and rice is included in price so not too expensive.

Well this Chip Shop use to be ok …but the last time I gave over my hard earned cash it was for the worst chippy I had ever had !!! They have gone down hill BIG TIME ….portions are small … over cooked …. Stale… and overpriced.! SHOCKING CHIPPY ….. STAY CLEAR …..UNLESS YOUR THE ….FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY 🚨🚨😳

Chicken Burnt rice with a side of over cooked rotten chips for the price of near 17 quid with curry sauce a £2 microwave meal would of tasted better I won't be back

Best chippy and Chinese in the Highlands

Bought four fish suppers as a treat after a long day of landscaping. The fish was a bit of a disappointment. I give it a 3/5. The chips were great! So...well...4/5 it is.

Very pleasant little chip shop with a choice and mix between fish/chips or Chinese. Pleasent staff, restricted parking but there is a car park 100 yds down the hill. Food is tasty and I would recommend Singapore noodles.

Been there first time today. Food was just great! Haven't eaten that good Chinese cuisine for ages. Everything tasted fresh. King prawns were a real size of king prawns lol, noodles were rich in taste. Very fast service. Well done and thank you 🙂

We only purchased chips the portion size was decent and the standard was pretty good

This is a nine inch "pizza" when I asked for a 16 inch cheese and tomato so if your looking to buy food from here please don't as I would feed this to a dog

Extensive menu, with good size portions at very reasonable prices with rice included. Ordered just before 6pm and arrived within 25 minutes. Delivery is £2 extra.

Gone downhill here. Fish for a child smelly. Sausage on batter clearly not clean oil. Chips limp and tasteless. This place is certainly going downhill fast

There is 2 bad employees there but the rest of the workers are nice it's takes about 2 to 4 minutes (depending on your order) to get and chipper I've been there many times and it has good food they have a good variety of food in general it's a good place it could a bit more hygienic

When we first entered whilst deciding what to order the numerous young male counter staff were acting and speaking in an innapropriate manner for public never mind behind a takeaway counter, OH had shredded chilli chicken which was without any doubt the worst ever Chinese dish either of us have eaten, basically just sweet and sour chicken no chillis and no taste - absolutely disgusting, I had a dish from the chip shop menu chicken was like elastic and chips were very greasy and undercooked, curry sauce also tasted like it had been made weeks ago and had a tainted taste of something I cannot place, in all a complete waste of £20 and having visited on and off for a number of years will never be back, terrible food and service/staff
