Comptoir Libanais Bluewater in Dartford

Positive. Food is lovely. Great flavours. Everything we ordered was sublime. The wings were so tender they fell off the bone. The salads are fresh, great flavours and texture. Flat bread is gorgeous. Kofta is over cooked though, very dry. The tagines are so good. Negatives. Service or shall I say lack of service. From the moment you wait to be seated to the point of paying, it’s so slow it’s unbearable. The tables do not get cleaned between the servings. The lady who finally brought the mains to us was just not interested. Asked her to clean the table, she moved the dirty plates and empty cans to another table? The food is so good, but this is the second time we have come and today the restaurant is quiet and the service was worse than when they are relatively busy. As disappointing as it is, we will not be coming back.

Service was slow, nearly 30 minutes to order a drink. Personal hygiene on a member of staff put me off. Food was tasty and we enjoyed, but the whole experience was a major disappointment. Was there for 2.5 hrs and only had a 2 course meal. Was going to have desert but the bill was brought instead. Maybe check with customer needs and don’t assume

Nice Restaurant It's one of my favourite restaurants in Bluewater. Good food. From grill to tagine to couscous. This type of style will make you in love with eating meat. Most importantly, not a lot of barbecue restaurants have couscous on their menu. Friendly staff. Clean environment. The toilet has incense sticks to eliminate any smells. I give it 4 stars because the chicken cubes in the mix grill were a bit too salty......

I had the Falafel rice bowl and it was delicious. The spice blend was lovely and the falafel its self was well made. Overall a lovely blend of flavours, and the rooms a lemonade on the side was very refreshing. Service was cheerful and efficient. Atmosphere was overall lovely.

Super friendly, welcoming staff. Was served by Samik and Peter - both perfectly polite and made the extra effort to make sure we were comfortable. Food was amazing too. Props to Samik for recommending the garlic bread.

We always love to come here. Very helpful and kind stuff, making sure you have an option when you have dietary restrictions. Delicious food, never disappoints.

Peter was friendly, welcoming and very informative about the ingredients. Thanks to Peter’s brilliant selling skills, we managed to try the Spicy potato side dish- what a beautiful family atmosphere and already want some rose and mint tea. I had the cauliflower and chickpea tagine and I have no words for how good that was- my hubby had the mixed grill and the beautiful fragrance made my mouth water. I’ve missed this place and deffo won’t be leaving as long next time- thank you to everyone xx

Had lovely lunch at Comptoir Libanais. I had the festive lamb plate and my husband chicken rice bowl. Both tasted uniquely flavourful. Peter was very enthusiastic while serving us. Well done and Keep this going 🙌

I am absolutely in love! We have been helped by Peter and a sweet blonde lady! I must say one of the best customer service I have ever had! Such a great atmosphere, it was my first time trying Lebanese food and I can tell I’m in love with it ! Don’t think much just book your reservation ! Also a big thank you to the Chefs back in the kitchen for delivering a delicious meal! I’m going home with a full belly haha 🩷 -Andy

Great restaurant. Food is absolutely fantastic and the team are lovely and keen to help. Atmosphere is great and restaurant exceptionally well decorated - but it is within Bluewater.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired, as our table was placed right next to a busy passageway, so there was a lot of foot traffic nearby. I ordered the mixed grill, but was disappointed. The lamb was dry and over-spiced, masking the natural flavor of the meat, and the chicken wings lacked taste altogether. The rice that came with the mixed grill was also cold, which was disappointing. My son ordered a chicken salad, but it was mostly lettuce with only a few small pieces of chicken. Overall, the service was great, but the food quality and ambiance could use improvement.

Sadly I can’t comment on the food as we waited nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged and given a table at a barely half full restaurant. Seated and waited another 15 mins with out being acknowledged to even order a drink….. gave up waiting as it does not bode well for any order we may have placed.

Peter our server was very friendly and made great recommendations. The food was tasty, filling and good value.

Me and my wife came here for dinner and we had Peter serve us. He was super friendly and jovial with us and made our experience very pleasant. The food was delicious as usual with the chicken being super succulent.

When I had arrived on the 20th October 2024, I was not greeted and I was ignored by members of staff. When I sat down with my daughter, we had requested from a member of staff who was not wearing an apron for menus. She said she was going to get it, she didn’t until I asked a girl with blonde hair who gave us menus. When I ordered our meal, we did not receive our fries. In which was taken out of our bill. When I asked to see the manager, the lady with dark black hair arrived and spoke to us rudely. I was disappointed as this was the worst service I have got at the restaurant before as I normally receive excellent service.

Olu's customer service was the best we've had in any restaurant. We felt like we were in a Michelin restaurant. He was attentive, extremely helpful in helping us choose our meal + was so friendly and happy. Esther was lovely too, and very efficient. We will definitely be coming back as the food was delicious! So well flavoured : )

The food was delicious. I had the falafel open wrap and the flavours were very good. After my meal I asked one of the waiting staff about getting a coffee to take away (I had my own takeaway cup) however they said they would need to check that was possible and then never came back to me. A bit disappointing!

I ordered fresh juice, which cost me £5.00 guess it was a glass of apple juice from Asda pitty. False advertisement chips are £5.00 again, full of oil than salmon fish and chickpeas £20.00 hoesntly, you're better of meal deal from tesco and mixed grill £20.00 portion small and low Quailty I paid £70.00 for my and my partner in mayfair central London in heart of the city BUT that food had Quailty. If you are going to charge, please do, but provide Quailty and remove fresh juice from your menu. You can't provide fresh juice or fresh meat so 🤷

Went for a birthday meal with family. We were a large group and were hosted by Peter. He was amazing and attentive. Was on hand for any questions and ensured we had a smooth meal with zero problems. Food was well presented and nice. Kids menu was great and easy to understand. Overall a great dining experience.

I dined with my son and my parents to celebrate my 50th birthday. From the moment that we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They weren't patronising when they offered to help us navigate the menu or answer any questions. We weren't rushed at ant point during our meal and it was nice to be able to enjoy each course without feeling the need to hurry on to the next. The decor and atmosphere were very sympathetic to the genre of food. I almost forgot that we were in a busy shopping centre! The food was of exceptional quality and very welcome presented. The taste of each dish was exceptional.

Well I came today with my girlfriend and we ordered mix grill and it comes with rice and salad. The rice were stale and not fresh..Kebabs were not fresh and the meat was cold and that was not even fresh as it was smelly...I have been to the top rated Lebanese restaurants and i know how the good and fresh meat tastes like and sadly this experience was not good at all as they are not serving fresh cooked meal as they should... definitely they are using frozen ones as the meat was cold from inside...Never going to visit again after this horrible tasting food.

An amazing Tuesday lunch, Peter was very polite and interacted with us both. The food was fresh and delicious, washed down with home made lemonade, both of which complimented each other. Would recommend to everybody.

Small portions of food. I asked for a player of two and there were a minimum of portion for each and a lot of decoration and salad to fill up the plate or to looks like it’s full. Also kebab looked like not fresh at all.

Food was delicious but service left much to be desired. Staff were very inattentive had we struggled to call them over. Desert was brought to us before the second course which took ages to arrive. To reiterate the food was fantastic, but I recommend planning a 2 hour stay for a meal for two due to the slow service
