Comptoir Libanais Bluewater in Dartford

My husband and I visited today for "date night". The food was tasty and presented well. The service was somewhat bizarre. We waited so long to begin with , we ended up ordering with the online QR code. And there was no option to remove the service charge even though we did all the work ourselves. Then after ordering the server came over. We explained we had already ordered starters and drinks and advised what we ordered. The server then took our mains order. When the starters came we had ordered a mixed one for two, but on questioning what was on the platter my husband was advised two things had been substituted as they had run out. Poor service there ! We weren't given the choice to change our order. Then on bringing the mains to our table the server (a different one ) felt it necessary to comment on how much food my husband ordered and assumed i had ordered the lentils. This made me and my husband uncomfortable and judged. We then waited so long to pay...although the place was pretty empty, we paid online which again meant we had to pay the service charge. To top things off toilets were not particularly clean and there was no toilet tissue. Stars lost on the atmosphere for the toilet cleanliness. Stars lost on service because it was terrible. One star lost on food due to the starter issue. I don't think I'd particularly recommend this restaurant to others even though the food was good because of the other issues.

today i went to this restaurant with my friend. First of all, their staff was so friendly, i appreciate this. their food is also very delicious.

The place is lovely, and the customer service was great, staff were friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed with the Aperol Spritz. For £10, I expected a well-made drink, not just a glass full of ice with barely any flavor. A bit more attention to the drink quality would make the experience perfect.

One of the best Halal Option in Bluewater the food was good we were greeted by the Manager at the door the gentleman was very nice and was joking with the customers which was a good touch i loved his interaction with the customers and colleagues we also ordered desert which was nice but that’s something i wouldn’t order again however the dessert was good with tea the only thing i would like to add getting there attention was bit difficult considering they were not that busy and that was the third time we were there same thing i think they need to be more attentive

Experience here is always exceptional!

As a chef, I can say that this kitchen needs a serious head chef to oversee the food preparation. The falafel was overcooked and may have been pre-made and left standing before our arrival. The photos on the website are completely different from what we were actually served. I am absolutely dissatisfied. Since we were hungry, we ate one dish, had some drinks, and shared a dessert. The second dessert was not to our taste and did not look presentable. The rest of the food we simply left. Overall, the venue is nice, and while the staff wasn’t particularly friendly, they did their job well. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing.

1st visit and a very pleasant visit. Staff are very polite and helpful. Food was amazing! Could make home made lemonades bottomless as beautiful. Great meal, in the words of the terminator “ I’ll be back”👍

Nice food but very stingy with the chicken portion on the salad and the chicken flatbread.. Portion control by head office apparently.

Excellent food and service, as always. Our waiter, Saleem, was not only dutiful, but went above and beyond to make sure our Sunday lunch was a pleasant experience. We love coming here on a Sunday, and always look forward to seeing the staff and manager (who knows our order off by heart).

Whenever I'm in Bluewater, I have to pop by, the staff are just so lovely and I've come to really enjoy my time whenever I'm there and visit. Whether a quick coffee stop or a full blown dinner with friends, these guys always make it a pleasurable experience. Can't get enough of the Kofta & Bean Tagine and Baba Ganuj!! Hats off to Sami and the team, see you soon!

Fantastic food and service at Comptoir Libanais Bluewater! I recently had the pleasure of dining at your Bluewater restaurant and wanted to share my wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed falafel, Baba ghanoush, chicken wings... everything basically. What truly made our visit exceptional was the service we received from Pete. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our meal. We will definitely be returning soon!

Good customer service, beautiful location, delicious fresh food, perfect for kids, portions too small for the price(compared to when I was last in one of them in Kensington!)

Positive. Food is lovely. Great flavours. Everything we ordered was sublime. The wings were so tender they fell off the bone. The salads are fresh, great flavours and texture. Flat bread is gorgeous. Kofta is over cooked though, very dry. The tagines are so good. Negatives. Service or shall I say lack of service. From the moment you wait to be seated to the point of paying, it’s so slow it’s unbearable. The tables do not get cleaned between the servings. The lady who finally brought the mains to us was just not interested. Asked her to clean the table, she moved the dirty plates and empty cans to another table? The food is so good, but this is the second time we have come and today the restaurant is quiet and the service was worse than when they are relatively busy. As disappointing as it is, we will not be coming back.

Service was slow, nearly 30 minutes to order a drink. Personal hygiene on a member of staff put me off. Food was tasty and we enjoyed, but the whole experience was a major disappointment. Was there for 2.5 hrs and only had a 2 course meal. Was going to have desert but the bill was brought instead. Maybe check with customer needs and don’t assume

Nice Restaurant It's one of my favourite restaurants in Bluewater. Good food. From grill to tagine to couscous. This type of style will make you in love with eating meat. Most importantly, not a lot of barbecue restaurants have couscous on their menu. Friendly staff. Clean environment. The toilet has incense sticks to eliminate any smells. I give it 4 stars because the chicken cubes in the mix grill were a bit too salty......

I had the Falafel rice bowl and it was delicious. The spice blend was lovely and the falafel its self was well made. Overall a lovely blend of flavours, and the rooms a lemonade on the side was very refreshing. Service was cheerful and efficient. Atmosphere was overall lovely.

Great place for some wonderful food

Peter was friendly, welcoming and very informative about the ingredients. Thanks to Peter’s brilliant selling skills, we managed to try the Spicy potato side dish- what a beautiful family atmosphere and already want some rose and mint tea. I had the cauliflower and chickpea tagine and I have no words for how good that was- my hubby had the mixed grill and the beautiful fragrance made my mouth water. I’ve missed this place and deffo won’t be leaving as long next time- thank you to everyone xx

Had lovely lunch at Comptoir Libanais. I had the festive lamb plate and my husband chicken rice bowl. Both tasted uniquely flavourful. Peter was very enthusiastic while serving us. Well done and Keep this going 🙌

Reheated grilled food. Not good at all. Ate the kofta. However very much reheated.

I am absolutely in love! We have been helped by Peter and a sweet blonde lady! I must say one of the best customer service I have ever had! Such a great atmosphere, it was my first time trying Lebanese food and I can tell I’m in love with it ! Don’t think much just book your reservation ! Also a big thank you to the Chefs back in the kitchen for delivering a delicious meal! I’m going home with a full belly haha 🩷 -Andy

Great restaurant. Food is absolutely fantastic and the team are lovely and keen to help. Atmosphere is great and restaurant exceptionally well decorated - but it is within Bluewater.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired, as our table was placed right next to a busy passageway, so there was a lot of foot traffic nearby. I ordered the mixed grill, but was disappointed. The lamb was dry and over-spiced, masking the natural flavor of the meat, and the chicken wings lacked taste altogether. The rice that came with the mixed grill was also cold, which was disappointing. My son ordered a chicken salad, but it was mostly lettuce with only a few small pieces of chicken. Overall, the service was great, but the food quality and ambiance could use improvement.

Sadly I can’t comment on the food as we waited nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged and given a table at a barely half full restaurant. Seated and waited another 15 mins with out being acknowledged to even order a drink….. gave up waiting as it does not bode well for any order we may have placed.

Peter our server was very friendly and made great recommendations. The food was tasty, filling and good value.

Me and my wife came here for dinner and we had Peter serve us. He was super friendly and jovial with us and made our experience very pleasant. The food was delicious as usual with the chicken being super succulent.

When I had arrived on the 20th October 2024, I was not greeted and I was ignored by members of staff. When I sat down with my daughter, we had requested from a member of staff who was not wearing an apron for menus. She said she was going to get it, she didn’t until I asked a girl with blonde hair who gave us menus. When I ordered our meal, we did not receive our fries. In which was taken out of our bill. When I asked to see the manager, the lady with dark black hair arrived and spoke to us rudely. I was disappointed as this was the worst service I have got at the restaurant before as I normally receive excellent service.

Olu's customer service was the best we've had in any restaurant. We felt like we were in a Michelin restaurant. He was attentive, extremely helpful in helping us choose our meal + was so friendly and happy. Esther was lovely too, and very efficient. We will definitely be coming back as the food was delicious! So well flavoured : )

The food was delicious. I had the falafel open wrap and the flavours were very good. After my meal I asked one of the waiting staff about getting a coffee to take away (I had my own takeaway cup) however they said they would need to check that was possible and then never came back to me. A bit disappointing!
