Small portions of food. I asked for a player of two and there were a minimum of portion for each and a lot of decoration and salad to fill up the plate or to looks like it’s full. Also kebab looked like not fresh at all.

Food was delicious but service left much to be desired. Staff were very inattentive had we struggled to call them over. Desert was brought to us before the second course which took ages to arrive. To reiterate the food was fantastic, but I recommend planning a 2 hour stay for a meal for two due to the slow service

We dined for a work event last Friday and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was charming. The staff were very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The team took good care of us and always smiling - lovely atmosphere and good variety of vegetarian dishes.

My friend and I have ordered chicken wrap which should be chicken wrap. Instead got wrong order. Then „manager” trying to explain that 4 pieces of chicken and pita bread is tortilla wrap 😂 as they have changed that. Such a pitty that they didn’t upgrade that on the menu making their customers chose the wrong thing. Appealing service. 3 people couldn’t split our bill 😂😂😂 even when I have showed them amount to pay on the phone calculator. Super rude lady wearing all black I guess another „manager” who was unprofessional with horrible attitude. Stay away from this place!!!

If you are looking for something refreshingly different to eat, then look no further. It is easy to forget you are in the UK with the unique ambience of the decor. Staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. Food is fresh, hot, and fragrant, presented in dishes that keep to the restaurant theme. The restaurant is located on the lower level. There is plenty of free parking in the multistory car park.

Slow service but definitely coming for the food again. Price is a little high

My friend and I ate here last evening,both being our first time but definitely not our last ....The food was outstanding full of flavour and plenty on the plate...The cappuccino was so creamy I couldn't ask for a better meal and drink... I would highly recommend this a place eat here 😋😋😋

We spent £40 a head for a meal, and at that price I would expect good food. The meze was disappointing in flavor but edible (with nice presentation). The mixed grill was overcooked and not seasoned properly - it seems the chef is not tasting the food? The fruit cocktails were sour rather than sweet. Overall a bizarre experience that makes me wonder if their chef has gone missing. Send help.

Very overpriced for what it provides. We ordered a platter only to find its just the size of a dish. The food was average as is the atmosphere. However, you are also at a bit of a disadvantage since bluewater in general is overpriced.

Extremely disappointed. Chicken tagine was not made in tagine and was just Chicken with stock cube. Not authentic at all and for 17 pounds as well! What a waste of money.

Went with my family for a night out. Lovely place with amazing food! All dishes tasted fabulous especially the chocolate brownie we ordered for dessert which was out of this world! We had a lovely server, Samik, who made us all comfortably seated. She knows her job and the menu well which made our choice much easier. We also had a fascinating chat about mountains in Nepal! So overall, a wonderful place to take your family out for dinner. Recommended!

The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Peter was extremely helpful with everything, especially with some allergies I have as he was very knowledgeable about the menu and advised me well, as well as ensuring the food was altered where possible to accommodate me. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

Staff needs more training They really don’t know what’s going on

Such a warm welcome upon entering and the service didn't stop there. We were well looked after throughout our meal and cannot fault the staff at all. Peter was so helpful, he really does know a lot about the food he serves. He recommended the Chicken Wing start and they were delicious. The price is really reasonable. They are doing a £15.50 lunch menu for 2 courses. The decor here is amazing too. Thanks for a lovely meal and we will be returning.

I’ve always enjoyed the food here but the last few times I’ve been they’ve always messed our order up and forgotten stuff we ordered.

There was a rat just wondering around and the manager was fully aware of this. We had to leave mid eating as this was absolutely shocking and disgusting. 4 other tables left. The restaurant was still open for the rest of that evening! They have open cookers so the rats must be doing as they please. Vile

Lovely food and excellent service. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and very impressed. After our own experience it surprises me to see some poor reviews especially regarding the food quality and describing it as bland. I'd say it was the exact opposite, everything we had was tasty and delicious, especially the tagines.

I've done a reservation and once we got to the restaurant, the staff was rude specialy the manager, they assigned us the table that was convenient for them even though the restaurant was half empty, and once we ask about other table they refused and they would not care, was like you take this table or leave, and I left. Didn't had a choice to try the food.

Not aware of added service charge until I see it printed on the receipt and not happy about that as the hot chocolate we waited for was served cold and the limited seating offered in a almost empty restaurant was funny. I also feel everything is slightly overpriced for what it is... Therfore when your feeling faused to pay a automatic service charge and feel your being taken for a mug, it does leave a bad taste in your mouth and bad first experience to want to come back for when thinking of the other options available more worthy of value and accommodating... Shame because I did like the food..

Food was lovely as always, Peter who served us on the table was lovely and definitely made our experience better after we had to face a moody hostess, who sat us down with a bit of an attitude and didn't give us menus until we asked for them. She s the only reason can not give 5*to this place. Everything else was beautiful 😍 compliments to the chef ❤️we enjoyed our food!

All the staffs were lovely. We we’re greeted with a smile and grant our request of a quiet table. Peter the Manager is super efficient, accommodating and friendly. Best Manager in a restaurant!!! We love the foods and drinks. It was also delivered on time. We will come back again. We totally recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely food and great atmosphere

Been a few times. On this occasion it was quite quiet. However we waited 30 mins to be served. Only then it was because we asked to be served. So it took almost an hour to get 2 hot drinks and 3 small baklava. Staff were very cheerful and kind. Lovely restraunt that could have better service

Visited for the first time, and there's not much to say, other than food was okay, nothing amazing, and no real flavour hits. Drinks are overpriced with not many options. All wrapped up with below average service.

Great place with this kind of food

First impressions were great. It looked so beautiful and vibrant, it was inviting me to come in. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and escorted to a table that accommodated my baby's pram. I was very well looked after by all staff and the food was absolutely outstanding. I would totally recommend this place to everyone.

Really bad experience we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and ask if we wanna order today it was busier than usual and apparently they turned off the coffee machine because can’t handle busy days. And speaking with the manager you can tell why this place is a disaster.expensive food and really bad customer service

Food less then average. Waitress thick. Food Luke warm and watery lemon mint iced drink tasted only of crushed ice. One meal was given to us in a takeaway box because we asked for chicken open wrap could be folded and that was only served 5 minutes after our main course arrived and we had to ask the waitress for it. Won't be going back there. Can honestly say it was an awful experience. Did complain but all they said was " oh sorry"

Really great experience here - glad we chose it over the many outlet in competition at bluewater. Really fun decor. Attentive staff were fun too! Only ‘fault’ was the draft. With an open front to the restaurant I kept my coat on.

Been here for years, but this time the portions were 1/3 of the size they used to be. The taste of the food was ok, but used to be better. Not really worth it anymore. Service used to be excellent, but on this occasion was rudely treated - different staff were serving, don’t know if there was change in management in the last year. Won’t be coming back after the service we received.

Lily from Romania was exceptional. Felt so welcomed and looked after. Partner can't eat tomatoes and she went above and beyond to look after him and I'm indecisive and she helped advise me on items I might like and gosh, I rarely in my life have had service this good. She cared but not overbearingly so and was so genuine. I sincerely wish her an amazing future. Food was fantastic and just the right portions. Just such balanced flavours and the cherry drink was uplifting after a long difficult day. Will come again!

Situated as you turn into the food court.No waiting time or queues. Very interesting unique decor,walls & ceiling covered in decorative roses & bunches of flowers - it looks really nice.The food arrived quicker than expected,I thought we'd wait a while because the restaurant gave me the impression & vibes that they'd cook from scratch....oh wel!! the food and side sauces were delicious & so was the dessert.Definitely worth another visit😃👍🍲

Waited a long time to seated on a Sat evening but was not overly busy - no staff to be seen. Taken to a table still with dirty plates and food - staff member shocked when we asked for plates to be removed. Many tables covered in dirty plates. Many people seemed to be hanging around waiting for food and bill. We left!

The food was good but nothing memorable really.Presentation seemed like it was done by a 7-year-old, especially the ice cream,2 scoops of cheap vanilla ice served on a a saucer. The service was good up until we wanted to pay. We tried getting the attention of self several waiters and waitresses for around 10 minutes in order to pay the bill but to no avail - had to go to counter to pay. Obviously we didn't pay the service charge after this.Also,a 12.5% service charge is pretty hefty for a restaurant of this calibre(low).

Music far too loud for lunch. Also, treated rudely when I walked inside without observing the small wait to be seated sign. Then waited for far too long to be greeted or given a food menu. The opposite of the typical reception of the middle east sadly.

The food was tasty, healthy and refreshing overall. It’s hard to find an authentic, tasty Lebanese restaurant so I enjoyed the experience. In terms of food, I liked the special touches in the Spiced Hot Chocolate, with rose petals, and pistachios. The houmous was delicious and lovely with the warm bread. The open wrap with Halloumi was average, it wasn’t that warm when served. Waiters were friendly, and lots of veggie options which was great.

Food was really good and customer service was excellent. We had a stroller with us, they made sure we get the corner table and ensured we were comfortable. Recommended cocktails that were amazing.

Food great. Sleazy male waiter not so. Essex boy trying it on with my friend while I was in the bathroom, didn't go down so well. Cheeky wink from him on the way out sealed the deal. There's playful and there's sleaze. Shame because the food is always banging here.

The portion sizes seem reduced as compared to what it used to be over the years Earlier the bread was complimentary, now they charge for it as well. Nevertheless the full family enjoys the ambiance. Service was slow this time around

We booked a table for my wife’s birthday. Arrived and waited at the door for 10 minutes before anyone engaged with us (the restaurant was less than half full) to seat us. Eventually were seated and then made to wait another 10 minutes to be approached for a drinks order and gave up and left. Rubbish.

Lovely ambience, great food, smiling & helpful customer service.

The service was amazing, the staff was so lovely and the decor was super pretty and bright, I felt like I was in Morocco. However, my seabass had no flavour 😢 and my mint lemonade tasted like mint water, on the other hand, my friend steak was delicious, and his drinking too.

Lovely meal as always. There was a slight issue that our mains came out with our starters, still ate everything though as food is so tasty.

Really disappointing meal. The two stars are for our server Peter who was absolutely lovely but the food was very expensive for what you get. My boyfriend and I both felt very ill after the meal and both did not enjoy our main course. The starters were nice but expensive and the juices were nice. Overall extremely disappointing and feel sad for not enjoying the meal and paying quite a bit to eat here.

Polite lovely staff, I was served by several people during my meal and they were great. Maitre D very polite and respectful. Lovely food and drinks as always at Comptoir, very healthy sumptuous and delicious options. Beautiful decor.
