We had the pleasure of dining at Le Comptoir tonight, it was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, full of rich, authentic Lebanese flavors. Each dish felt like a love letter to homemade Lebanese cuisine, cooked to perfection. Fabulous care provided by Elisabeth, our waiter. She was attentive and made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Elisabeth’s friendly, professional demeanor made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. She struck the perfect balance of being present without hovering, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was seamless. The ambience was spot on. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance—not too loud, with just the right amount of background music to keep the space lively without overwhelming conversation. I’m a bit reluctant to post this as I wanted to keep this place a bit of secret so that the restaurant doesn’t become overwhelmed, so if you (Le Comptoir) might wish to put me on your VIP list so I can always be assured of a table, then I’ll certainly be back, and feel better about singing your praises. Honestly, highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks again to Elisabeth and the team for such a memorable evening.

Frequent diner with friends. Food is authentic and delicious. Staff are friendly, however I’ve had multiple unpleasant encounters with one of the members (i thinkin Josel) who on many visits is very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. Occasionally disgusted with his behavior.

Tried this Lebanese restaurant in the city centre. Very good food (I have tasted better Lebanese food, though). The service was excellent. The staff taking order and serving were excellent and had a great impact. Loved the hospitality and service. Would definitely come again. Not very rushy on a Thursday night and good ambiance.

Absolutely amazing food selection and quality, service attentive but not overly so, genuine buzz/vibe

Food was thoroughly disappointing; mixed grill was dry and bland. Service was poor - I asked for the inordinate amount of ice to be removed from my cooler and the waitress returned it to me with some ice removed and barely any drink. We also ordered some baklava desserts which were horrendously hard textured and difficult to cut into - when I queried this with the waiter instead of apologising and asking whether we would like an alternative he appeared defensive and babbled incoherently. To top it off a service charge of £30 was added to the bill without prior notice. As this was a meal paid for by a family member I didn’t take the issues any further, however I will not be attending again in the future. Much better middle-eastern cuisine alternatives around Manchester.

Let me start with David and Elisabeth, great professional from the beginning to the end. The food was very tasty, and price-quality ratio was really good. Recommended.

Food was 7/10. Nice presentation, location and vibes nice, service good .but they slapped us with 12.5% of service. Which was unexpected and absolutely overpriced. The food per se isn't cheap, the restaurant wasn't full so I don't really see why charging so much. They didn't have any right to charge us 12.50 of our bill. I was in rush to get the train and didn't notice there.but I hope I get an explanation because I don't think was far should be mentioned on the menu as policy can't charge someone out of nowhere.

First time eating Lebanese and it was really SUPER!!! What makes the experience even better is the service!!!

One rainy day, we decided to have dinner in a cool and stylish place after a hard day of work. We decided to go to a Lebanese restaurant and there we went to Comptoir Libanais, we walked about 15 minutes to get there because we thought it was worth it. We arrive at the place and the decoration and atmosphere is very good. We are served by a girl named Izca, who speaks to us in perfect English but very skillfully detects that we are from Spain and asks us if we think it would be better if we speak in Spanish and we decide that is perfect. About the food, nothing to say, everything was simply very delicious and following Izca's recommendations we believe that it was completely right. The key to everything, what adds the sauce and enhances the experience, is undoubtedly the attention received, we left the place delighted by the good treatment, excellent at all times, fast and with care, affection and excellent delicacy that fits the Perfection with what is expected from this restaurant. A real pleasure, if we return to Manchester we will definitely repeat.

First experience in a Lebanese restaurant. A place full of colours, which already makes you happy before eating. Very friendly and professional staff. Very good food! A lot of attention for those like me who have celiac disease. Beautiful bathrooms. And the icing on the cake is Federico, the manager. Thank you very much 🤗

We had a great time! Too bad they tried to cheat us during the payment phase Being a large table we were offered a menu with drinks excluded. During payment there was an extra £140 on the account. Drinking is obviously very expensive It's a shame because we ate really well and had a good time

Came here on a busy Saturday evening and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, the cocktails were delicious, and our waitress was friendly and attentive despite almost every table being occupied. We had the mezze sharing platter for 2, orange and almond cake and some cocktails. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning

I just visited this Gorgeous place today.. n omg I was blown away.. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful…. The atmosphere, the staff (probly he was the manager or owner, not too sure) but whoever he was soo humble, so polite, very kind and nice man. Loved the ambiance soo much.. I just had a tea this time, which was served with so much kindness n with the utmost beautiful gesture ever … I am super glad that I have discovered this place.. Going to visit it quite often from now and looking forward to enjoy their delicious variety of Meals too 🤩🤩🤩😋😋

Nice food with great vegan options, would like to see some more vegan dessert options as there was only one on the menu and for my girlfriends 21st birthday it would’ve been nice for her to have dessert. but overall great interior and felt very comfortable in the place we were seated with the option of sitting inside or outside!

First time visit for my wife and I last weekend. So glad we did as well. We hadn't booked ahead but we're welcomed in no problem. Great unrushed service, excellent choice of dishes. Shares a starter, main each and shared a dessert. With a bottle of house red. Can't fault anything from the service to food to atmosphere. I have to admit a little on the expensive side but only because of our choices. But we know for next time we visit.

Very lazy service, average food.

It was nice enough but based on some of the reviews I saw prior, I think we had higher hopes. It was our first time visiting. There were a lot of us so perhaps smaller tables have a different experience. I think we should have had 2 people attending us as it seemed a bit much for the one person. That said, some of us that arrived earlier had drink orders taken by a different waiter and then they were forgotten. Along with some missing food items and ones we didn’t order, we had to ask for things multiple times. The drinks also could have tasted better, the food was enjoyed by most of us.

The food was really amazing and very tasty. Polite staff and friendly, i would like to recommend it for anyone who is looking to got the proper test of the eastern food .
