Katherine was an absolute sensation as staff and I could not recommend her or this place enough. Value for money, food and drinks and best playlists for all sorts of people. will be back! ♥️

Revolution Bars used to be quite righteous places. But this branch let the chain down - badly. Music is far to loud to hold any kind of reasonable conversation. Service was tediously slow and the cocktails ( Bubblegum Daquori and Pina Coladas) were 90% mashed ice !! Considering that cocktails is their speciality and cost around £6.50 each,the value was embarrassing. Service was shamefully slow. Forty minutes to served in a relatively empty bar and another forty minutes for a simple burger and pizza to arrive. The hostess was pleasant enough and she deserved her tip. But the Revolution Oxford Road really needs a lesson in customer service and their presentation of cocktails.

Where do I start? Arrived at 6.45 and found a small table in the centre of the loudest bar known to man. Groups of lads shouting, screaming and banging tables. Couldn’t have a conversation without shouting at each other. Surely a health hazard for the staff? Ordered a burger and fries and a burger and salad, water and a coke. Not a fancy order, no fancy cocktails. At 7.15 still no sign. Spoke to the waitress and she said she will find out. Came back and was told about 15 minutes as they were very busy and still 2 more orders before ours. Explained we were going to a concert so couldn’t be too late. 15 mins pass, still no sign. Was told 5 more mins and it will be out. 5 more minutes pass and still no food. By 7.45, a whole hour after ordered, we left. Thank god for Archie’s up the road! Only redeeming feature was the coke and water on the house.

Our Son was singing his debut upstairs with Family and Friends! Staff gave us great service 👍 👏 👌

Saturday 22nd Feb. I Placed a booking at 3pm for later that day (18:15) for a table for 5 for food and drinks online through their own website. When we arrived they took a while to find my booking. Once found, firstly I was told they hadn't refreshed the booking system for hours thats why they couldn't find the booking, And then i was told there was nowhere for us to eat and drink as the customers who were there since 3pm were still there. I asked if they could ask them to leave an honour our booking but I was told no. Inside was like a night club. So I don't think they should be offering food and drink after a certain time. Maybe they should also look at the booking policy because bookings should be honoured and not told "good luck" as we leave to try to find somewhere else to go. Shocking.

TALLULAH was the best waitresses for the bottomless brunch. Checked in on is despite the busy atmosphere and made sure we were all doing well <3

Me and my friend came here on a whim and tempted by happy hour all day everyday. The atmosphere is very lively but we managed to find a table. We ordered cocktails and the service at the bar was quick, friendly and efficient. I got the prism power cocktail which was colourful and really nice and my friend got a candyfloss Cosmo which she also enjoyed. When ordering at the bar I then realised it was buy one get one free which is nice as it brought the cocktails down to around £6 and I walked away with four drinks. The music ranges from classic hits of rock and pop. There was a lively group of men cheering at a tv gameshow like they were at a football game, annoying everyone til a girl started a chant of "shut the f*ck up" which everyone in the bar seemed to join in on. The men were silenced and soon left. Overall it was a fun and memorable experience and i would recommend it for good cocktails at a good price.

Disappointing experience. We were looking for a venue close to the office to have food and drinks, late afternoon. A table for 5 was booked on line from 2:45. As soon as we sat down we were asked what we wanted to order. We were awaiting a colleague to join us so we said could we have some time. We were told then that they were closing at 5pm. I asked is that the kitchen and was told no. A full closure as they were expecting a private party. Ok we said. No big deal. We ordered our food once we were joined by our colleague. 45 minutes later (approximately 4.40) still no food. I went to the bar to check on the order given that we were leaving shortly. As I was talking the food arrived. I also wanted to order a beer at the bar and I waited a few minutes and watched 3 members of staff walk past and ignored me. Eventually I asked if they were serving. I took the beer to our table to be met with 3 miserable plates of food. Burnt burgers, dry Frys. No cutlery or napkins. Which we had to ask for from the staff. As we were hungry we decided to bite the bullet quite literally. None of us ate the full meal. Whilst we were eating, people were entering the premises thinking that it was open. The manager then approached them to tell them that they were closed for a private function and waving at us saying "we are waiting to clear these tables now" referring to us and another table. This was while we were still eating. We were approached with the bill before we asked for it saying we had five minutes to leave. This was at 4.45. We made our disappointment clear and the manager approached us. Who was apologetic, but took no accountability for the way we were made to feel as he felt it was down to the fact that it was not his choice to take bookings before a private function and we had to appreciate how difficult it was for him and his staff to provide a good service under these circumstances. I wouldn’t give this to my dog, it’s embarrassing to even serve this. £24 are you joking The £24 did in fact include ONE other course, a small microwaved brownie, however no glass of Prosecco was provided which is a shame because it was greatly needed to compensate for this dry and uncooked meal. Went for afternoon tea today with my sister and had to raise the fact that the food was cold, there was a hair in my chicken and the mini burger was raw in the middle. Thank goodness i didnt eat it as would have been so ill. No refund was given as bought via voucher but i shall definitely persue this and just not fair and could have been very danderous if we had eaten this food!
