Been a few times. Always a brilliant atmosphere and amazing food no matter what you pick from where. Highly reccomend..

Vibrant atmosphere and a great selection of food.

Had the very expensive Margherita pizza from honest crust, not much cheese on it and quite small. Also had a flat white and pecan cronut which was expensive but delicious. Not keen on the place it's so loud in there it reminds me of being in a school canteen everyone shouting to be heard. Wouldn't rush back, the second time I've been and my issues were confirmed. Over priced school dinner hall !

Evening with friends, the Mackie Mayor is a regular stop every time we are in Manchester, nice atmosphere and good, varied food. The meat area is recommended

This place is great! Stopped by for a pre gig bite to eat, great atmosphere, great selection of eateries and the drinks were great too. I had a flat iron steak from Tender Cow and a mocktail from one of the bars. Will definitely go back. Fab table service too :)

Good place for casual drinks and food

First time here and I don’t regret it! Orders the steak sandwich and triple cooked chips deal. The sandwich was absolutely spot on, juicy, tender, tasty. The chips were good but on the saltier side which I didn’t appreciate but I did smack in some mayo and ketchup to sweeten the taste which helped. This is a casual place and we went around brunch time which was busy but good vibes. Overall, I would recommend, good prices, great location and love that you can order from different vendors.

Great place for food and cocktails. Loads of individual food outlets and bars under one roof. Only had cocktails in the bar , but the food looked good.

The building itself is wonderful, being filled with a good variety of food and drink. Despite a decent number of people being there it never felt crowded or stuffy. The pizza I had was unfortunately disappointing as it was made far-far too salty; however I am sure this must have simply been an accident during prep. Staff all friendly and efficient

We visited Mackie Mayor yesterday for some food. I decided to go for a Sando Fried Chicken sandwich from Taiko, my friend had Ramen. My friends Ramen was delivered quite quickly and looked good. I had to go an ask where my order had gone to, it came 40 minutes after my friends meal...from the same vendor! My sandwich had no slaw with it and was quite disgusting to be honest.

Gets loud when there are a lot of people.

First booking is bad for me & cancels on time, this is how it is with me.

First time here the place was very different food selection was very good from multiple street food shops it was very busy which is always a good sign our food was great.It was middle of the road pricing definitely has a good vibe about the whole place staff were great as well worth a try no reservations as far as I know Enjoy!!

Visited on a Saturday night recently , granted it was busy but all vendors had a shrug of the shoulders, we are busy so deal with it attitude. We done one and headed to Noi Quattro just round the corner. They were also rammed but managed to welcome us warmly and seat us straight away

Brilliant food hall with amazing cuisines from around the world, can get busy but loads of places to sit and really easy to order to table on the app

Hip and trendy is the motto nowadays. This place has the heart and soul to make you want to return as soon as you can. Great food, great drinks and a nice view, since the building is just gorgeous as well. You order via an app and they bring it to your table.

Gluten free tacos 🌮 100% everything is GF The most delicious food! Amazing service. Frozen margs are fab too 🍸 The whole place is a vibe.

We got a margarita pizza and homemade aioli from honest crust honestly it was absolutely amazing second time I’ve had it from here and it was exactly the same tasted like heaven!!!

Great location for a Friday night dinner - order on the app from different kitchens and it gets delivered to your table. Highly recommend Mummas chicken and Honest Crust pizza, finished with Dnuts 😋

Yummmmmm !!!! I ordered the Chicken Sando (haveeee to havvve to eat it again) from New Wave Ramen and my husband and kids ordered the steak and the cheeseburgers with fries from Tender Cow. Amazingggg - cannot wait to get back there and try more food. What a cool trendy hip (yes clearly I’m in awe) place with similar vibes to Mercato in London. If you’re in Manchester and haven’t been to Mickie Mayor yet … whattt???? Drop everything you’re doing and GO!

Este lugar es una sala de comidas bastante grande. Ciertamente no es elegante pero muy cómodo. Han mantenido la arquitectura histórica del lugar. Hay una gran variedad de opciones de comida y bebida. Simplemente encuentre un asiento, tome nota del número de mesa, haga su pedido en el mostrador de su elección y su comida llega en unos minutos. Un concepto muy simple ejecutado bien. Un sábado por la tarde el lugar estaba lleno. Muchas familias con niños jugando felizmente. Tuvimos una pizza de hongos portobello muy sabrosa de Honest Crust Pizza. ¿Pasando el día de compras en el Barrio Norte? Estará satisfecho al visitar Mackie Manor para restaurar su energía.

This place is a rather large food hall. Certainly not fancy but very comfortable. They have maintained the historical architecture of the place. There is a myriad of food & drink options. Simply find a seat, take note of the table number, place your order at the counter of choice & your food arrives in a few minutes. A very simple concept executed well. On a Saturday afternoon the place was packed. Lots of families with children happily playing. We had a very tasty portobello mushroom pizza from Honest Crust Pizza. Out spending the day shopping in the Northern Quarter ? You will be satisfied by stopping in at Mackie Manor to restore your energy.

Not as good as previous visits, it's very expensive so needs to be top notch but it's not good enough to justify that price when there is better options in the city for less money. The pizza was ok but the toppings just slid off. Had a chicken burger that was overpowered with blue cheese and couldn't taste the buffalo, also ordered wings which where excellent and a massive portion. The Gyoza we had were top notch. The biggest let down though was the tacos, been spoiled as of late with everyone jumping on them and just felt these where lacking compared to other options.

Very fun experience. Had the steak sandwich which was lovely, if not a bit chewy but would still give it a 4/5. Service was as expected for an order via app to table, can’t complain. They did come out to find me when they didn’t have 1 item and offered to change it or refund it so it would come out with all the rest of the food. Atmosphere was great, really really busy and fun

A large, very characteristic restaurant where you can find several tables to eat in communion with others. All around there are cooking points of every type and genre from ramen to pizza from hamburger to vegetarian. You order, you pay and an employee will bring your order.

Pedido Kow Soi, Galletas de Langostinos y Jarra de vino 500 ml por £ 26. El Kow Soi estaba lleno de fideos frescos y pollo. Hija tomó la ensalada Ceaser y dijo que era brillante. El ambiente es frío y el servicio es rápido

Foods from around the world in a very beautiful market with a very good atmosphere. The prices are somewhat expensive and the businesses are somewhat artificial, although the food is not bad.

Great food court! Several catering themes from hamburgers to pizza to Thai or Japanese cuisine. Lots of noise! It's like a big canteen! We choose where there is room to eat while sharing a piece of the table. Ordering is done at the stand and service is at the table. Affordable in terms of price. To do! I loved it

A very good place. It is similar to restaurants in shopping malls in Hong Kong. If you like to eat, you can go there to buy a variety of food, including Japanese ramen. The place is beautiful and a very good place to check in.

We came to Mackie Mayor for food and drinks before heading to a concert at the COOP arena. We came in a big group of up to 13 people at lunchtime, and we found seats on the upper floors and were impressed by the stunning interior design! Mackie Mayor is a food hall composed of several different vendors - with a huge range of options from tacos to burgers it is great for large groups with a huge range of choices. My personal highlights were the fried chicken with buffalo sauce. Also, the beer selection was amazing with the mango IPA tasting amazing! I would recommend it to anyone in the local area.

The ambience here was really great – a great atmosphere to spend a relaxing time as a couple or with friends. Unfortunately, the burger I ordered was already cold, and the fries were served without mayo or ketchup, which was a bit disappointing. However, the prices are reasonable and there are many different dishes to try. Overall a nice place, but with small improvements the experience could be even better.

I've been to Mackie Mayor a few times now, and the food is always okay with a good selection of drinks. The atmosphere is great in there, and I would love to spend a full day just eating and drinking, BUT it is severely overpriced. My wife and I spent around £49 on a chicken burger, a pizza, iced coffee and a pint of IPA 🥴

Undercooked pizza, soggy, watery discharge looked like peeled flesh. Great if you're one of the undead otherwise go to a proper pizza place.

Great casual experience with lots of vendors - options for all ! Wine - cocktails - craft beer - all from different vendors. Seating is hit or miss depending on business / time of day but you can almost always find somewhere !

A good place to eat with a good atmosphere. The place is very nice and the food is good, but don't look for local dishes because there aren't any. There are pizzas, hamburgers, sticks, Asian food, etc....

Great selection of food at slightly above average price. The location is very industrial and unique, food hall on two levels where the upper level mostly looks down onto the lower level. It's not too big so probably hard to find a table at busy times, but we had no problem. Be prepared to share your space though as that's all part of the charm. Had coffee and doughnut this time, but will return to try a main meal.

Took my wife for her birthday we loved it the food was amazing so much choice and the atmosphere is very relaxing definitely recommend this place

I loved the atmosphere of this place. If you are in Manchester you have to go there, everything looked delicious. A wide variety of beer.

Lovely food, the 'little 'uns play area' was absolutely manky and had clearly never ever been cleaned. Worried my little lad has caught the plague it's that gross, has me a bit worried about what the cleanliness is like behind the scenes to be honest. Nice vibe to the place though, just don't let your babies play in the play area.

It's a really nice vibe and the beer I had was fine. The pizza was tasty but quite soggy. It didn't really matter after a few beers but there are many places that are better for food, especially if you are in Manchester. Service was great and food arrived very promptly. I thought it was expensive for a pizza too. At the time of writing mine was 15 quid.

Mummas chicken is second to none. Tender, juicy chicken, and very well seasoned crispy batter. This is a must place for your chicken fix and not to forget their sauces as the aioli was a proper garlic sensation.

After several excellent experiences I feel that MM has really gone downhill. The wine bar was still excellent but several of my favourite food stalls seem to have disappeared. I was particularly disappointed with an order of nachos which were supplied with cheese sauce rather than cheese. I've had better food at Alton Towers

A great place to visit great vibes we didn't have any food just a few beers but it was very busy on a Wednesday after noon we will be back to try the food

Ordered food via their app. £16 for tomatoes on toast - questionable (and I live in London, that would be a rip off even there!). 45 minutes later it had not arrived. Asked staff and they said they never received order even though I paid and received email confirmation. Had to get manager to come and provide a refund as the food stalls are unable to do so themselves. Never got to eat, poor experience!

It’s a great food market with a nice vibe. Lots of choice of food. The ramen and Thai place are both very good. Taco place is overpriced.

this place was recommended to me by a friend and I have been recommending it to other friends ever since my first visit. on my first visit, i ordered the drunken noodles from Chilli B Thai. my noodles we so filling and the perfect balance between chewy and soft. i shared a side of garlic bread from Honest Crust Pizza. the meal was so delicious that i barely said a word to my friend! the second time i visited i ordered the kradpow from Chilli B Thai. the portion sizes were spot on and there was a lovely spicy kick to my meal. finally, the most recent time i ordered the vegan tantanmen from New Wave Ramen/Taiko Ramen. i was initially unsure but after one spoonful of the broth, i was so happy. the noodles were lovely and soft and there was a nice level of spice and heat to the ramen - you could still taste all the flavour. i also liked the ratio of broth to noodles however there was only one decent sized tofu slice which didn’t ruin the meal but i had expected some additional smaller slices. ive visited this foodhall during the week, on a friday evening and for a late lunch on saturday and every single trip has been a really good experience with such good food. ten out of ten !!

My favourite padthai so far to have I get it every time I am here and I am obsessed. Mackie Mayor is great for groups who want plenty of options. There is something for everyone. I really love it there for variety. But it’s a bit spenny and for lunch time is a bit much. Great vibes and staff is lovely

We was excited to try this place after hearing all the hype about it, however was really let down. Over priced for a pizza that wasn’t fully cooked, yet took a while to come and a burger that tasted more like a rustlers burger than a gourmet one. Seems like it would be a great place to socialise with a group of friends for drinks.

Great atmosphere fast and polite service. My food choice, mammas (fried chicken) was not very good. I got the buffalo blue but the chicken was stringy and not very pleasant to eat overall. Cant comment on the other stalls.

Ordered lunch with several people. I paid for Steak and Eggs at the Tender Cow. Everyone got their order except me. By the time we had to leave it still hadn't arrived. No immediate refund, have to hope to get my money back in "2-3 business days". Bad experience all round.

Can't decide what to have to eat? Then don't! Come to Mackie Mayor's that has a range of yum places to chose from and you sit in the middle and runners bring your food to you. The ramen with its fresh made noodles is good. The choice of fresh tacos are good, pizza, wine bar... you can come with a group of friends and all have entirely different tastes. It works really well and I've been a few times. Good vibes.

Great visit, lovely food, wish this was closer to home. We visited on a Friday afternoon whilst in the area for a Peter Kay Gig. This was a recommendation from a friend and did not dissapoint. After a 6 hour drive cold drinks from the brew bar (can’t remember its name) were most welcome. We ordered on the app and swiftly had delicious homemade nachos arrive, followed by steak sandwiches, jerk chicken and steak burgers, all served with heaps of fries. Food was delicious, great atmosphere. Casual dining done extremely well.

Excellent historical place turned into a food court. Wonderful food really cool vibe.

Great vibe, perfect for chilled dining in an unusual setting. I had drunken noodles from Chilli B (which were gorgeous) and a pistachio tiramisu donut from DGHNT. Being able to order from different vendors is great for visiting with a group, but I was also surprised by how suited this place is for solo diners (there were a few on the balcony seats), and will definitely bear it in mind next time I'm out in NQ.

A lot has changed since my last review. I quite enjoy using the app to order food. The place gets busy near lunch, after work or if it's a Friday and weekend. I love the coffee, the Thai food, the pizza, tacos and burgers here. It's a bit pricey, but you are supporting independent businesses. I highly recommend going there it's a great experience.

Mackie Manor is a breath of fresh air, full of character and style. I had the chilli fried eggs (more sweet than spicy), a flat white and cinnamon swirl. The staff were very friendly and the food and drink was delicious! I will definitely be coming back next time I visit Manchester.

Lovely place in the back end of the northern quarter, perfect for when you’re in a group and can’t decide what to get as you can all pick different options! Personally loved the chicken pad Thai from one of the vendors!

One of the coolest food halls in Manchester with a lot of different options. I liked how you can order from the table from all the stalls and just enjoy the vibe of the place.
