The food here is beautiful and it’s a great addition to Ramsbottom. The menu doesn’t include many options and it is a really small restaurant, but even though we are fussy we both found at least a couple of things we wanted to order for each course. The food and cocktails that we ordered were delicious. The service was great!

Food good but crockery appalling! Waitress said she would mention chipped plate to kitchen but no further actiontaken.

Stopped by for munch, sorry lunch. Eggs Benedict was spectacular. Cheap as chips. Dogs welcome. We’ll done for great service also.

We had a fabulous visit on Sunday. We both had a roast and absolutely loved it. The beef was pink and melted in the mouth. The chicken was moist and the veg was fabulous. Full of flavour and varied. Even the Yorkshire was on point (though I would’ve salted the batter. Strong recommend.

It’s our 3rd time eating here and so I really should write a review, as it really does deserve to be packed out every single night. It’s such a great addition to Ramsbottom. The menu is small and seasonal and sometimes the decision to choose is difficult. Too many great sounding dishes! The food is beautifully presented and so delicious. I always opt for the fish dish, as it never disappoints, just cooked perfectly, always! The wine list is good for such a small restaurant and prices are remarkable for the quality of cooking.

Visited with friends, we enjoyed great food with attentive service. Starters were delicious - we went for Scotch Eggs and Smoked Salmon, both delicious. My steak was perfectly rare and served with Dauphinois. The cod, venison, and partridge dishes were similarly well received. We had chips and mac cheese sides to round off. Took my son today at 12.30ish and had the breakfast and he had steak and chips and they were both beautiful. Love this place.

Have been a few times for breakfast, both times superb. Lovely fresh ingredients and good customer service Poached eggs avocado and feta on sourdough, and full english can definitely recommend. Gets busy so book on line

Great experience last night. The restaurant was packed with a really good atmosphere. The food was so good, cured salmon, tomato arancini, steak and a beautiful cod dish, followed by a banana cake with rum and raisin ice cream, absolutely delicious. Cocktails were great. The young waitresses were super efficient and friendly. Could not fault the evening. We will be back.

Unfortunately wasn’t for us. Cocktails were not up to scratch at all, and we have sadly woken up feeling poorly today after the food we ate last night. Unsure if the beef was too underdone? I’m a rare lover but even this was too rare for me and my body too. Cute venue though :) x

Genuinely one of the best family meals out we’ve had in a long time. Relaxed, good food, fabulous unobtrusive service and good value. Support this restaurant!

My son took me on New Years Eve for the set bottomless brunch. The food was outstanding, the drinks came regularly, as often as we wanted, and Brook, our waitress, was a delight. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back in the near future.

Cancelled our booking by email the afternoon of our Christmas meal stating they had a private party and there must have been an issue with the booking system….. I booked in September!!

Saturday brunch visit with the family and dogs. The staff at Colleen’s were incredibly accommodating to us with 3 😮 dogs and little baby, helped us with everything we’d need, high chair, treats for dogs ☺️. They offered to make scrambled egg for the little one. Food was lovely we all thoroughly enjoyed our brunch dishes and coffees. Also we thought it was very reasonably priced for the whole experience. We all can’t wait to visit again for evening meals and wine!

The scotched egg started was 10/10! The mains let it down a lot £24 pound for serloin steak which came with “pepper corn sauce” it was poor gravy at best and just tasted of pure salt. I actually asked if it was gravy to be told it wasn’t. The table next to me also complained there meal was far to salty as well! Such a shame as the starter was to die for. Staff were also very attentive and helpful.
