Coleman Coffee Roasters in Lambeth

Coleman is my favourite coffee shop in London. The garden at the back is dreamy and the coffee is delicious. Ollie and Alan could not be more welcoming. Pastries are also delicious. It's a quirky and special place. A rare find!

Un lugar acogedor que ofrece comida y café. El café no me impresionó demasiado, se suponía que era un tostado medio, pero sabía más a tostado oscuro. Aún así, es un buen lugar para sentarse y relajarse si estás en el vecindario. Muy buen personal!

Un lindo y pequeño café, apareció con un amigo para tomar un café y ponerse al día. No pude resistir los pasteles de avena y comí un delicioso queso y mermelada de chile, ¡estaba delicioso! Los asientos son limitados ya que el café es pequeño aunque hay un jardín muy pequeño en la parte de atrás.

Hier gibt es guten Kaffee, leider ist er etwas überteuert. Sonst ist das Cafe eher auf süßes Gebäck ausgerichtet, ich hatte ein mittelgroßes Schokocroissant für umgerechnet 3,5€ was auch eher teuer war. Die Bedienung war dafür umso freundlicher. Alles in allem ist es ein nettes Cafe wo man gutes Essen und Kaffee bekommt.

Very pleasant little café on Lower Marsh. The coffee is excellent and the oat cakes very tasty. I recommend the pancale with cooley cheese and chilli jam, it's the bomb!

Un espresso, un cappuccino e un paio di oat cakes con raspberry jam e la mattina è perfetta. Soprattutto se puoi sederti nel garden terrace e rilassarti al canto degli uccellini. Il caffè buonissimo e lo consiglio a tutti!

I came to London on the Friday and left on the Sunday and for research purposes, I had to visit a number of specific coffee shops to check out a certain type of coffee. After having spent a lot of money on certain coffees (sometimes around the £5 mark), I called it a day. It was Sunday morning and I had purposefully made some time for myself, so I could just be with the morning and found Lower Marsh around the back of Waterloo Station. I found a very unfussy café, not advertised on Google Maps just minimally advertised on a scrappy a-board. It looked very much like a pop-up café on the inside - and the staff were a little happier than the ones in the café down the road (it was a Sunday morning) - I sat outside with my coffee and instantly I was amazed by such a great flavour, it was nutty, smooth and real rounded depth - I really enjoyed this cup of coffee - absolutely wonderful and I told them too...

Excellent coffee. Laid back atmosphere and a lovely place to watch the world go by. Highly recommended to coffee lovers.

Found this walking from Tate to Waterloo, The pastry and coffee was great, the service was a bit too far over the hipster scale and could be a bit warmer if they want repeat business.

Great coffee, lovely staff and super pancakes/oatcakes/galettes. Much more interesting than your average coffee shop and pretty near my house. There are too many coffee shops on Lower Marsh, hopefully this one strikes the death knell for some of the others. Lower Marsh used to be a two Greggs High street (I kid you not), it's rapidly becoming too hip for it's own good. Gripe over, Coleman Coffee Roasters is a very nice place to stop for 45 minutes and take a breather from life

Klein, hip koffietentje. Heerlijke haver pannenkoeken en top koffie. Aardige lui! Leuk ingericht met een sfeervol karakter. Er is ook een tuintje waar je lekker een luchtje kan scheppen. Urban locatie net achter Waterloo station!

Similar to another review below - my partner went to pick us up a couple of coffees on Sunday morning and was shocked to discover that Colemans do not offer any dairy free milk alternatives. Quite possibly the only cafe left on London to not offer milk alternatives in 2018? Sad as we live around the corner, we will continue visiting competitor cafes unless they change this.

Nice people, good coffee with great Iranian 'Gaz' nougat cakes. And you can sit out in a tiny quiet back garden. Mmm.
