Coffee#1 Stourbridge in Dudley

My go to coffee shop in Stourbridge. Great range looking forward to it coffee. When I work from home I walk the dog into town ready for when the cafe opens at 7.30 and we now have a group of us who sit together - a lovely start to the day. Staff are just wonderful- Sasha, Christian, Jake, Lauren and Bev

The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were really friendly and professional. The ice cold water and the complimentary coffee grounds for the garden were an added bonus

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon for a drinks and cake. Nice selection of drinks including pumpkin spiced hot chocolate. A nice selection of cakes. Friendly staff and nice and clean.

lovely staff, lady serving was patient and kind, i’ve been in a few times before and love it every time, the taller guy was extremely polite and the other man on shift was ever so lovely and had so much energy and joy it made the experience very comforting. from the moment you walk in you can see that it’s a nice small but well ran coffee shop. i’m a very anxious person due to having a stutter and being greeted by kind staff, a warm and welcoming environment and the lady at the till being kind every time makes it an experience with coming back for!!

Nice coffee. Just disturbing experience, used toilet, locked door, moment later member of staff tried door handle THEN UNLOCKED IT! I’ll give that place a miss next time.

Whilst waiting for my coffee I was stood at the end of the till when a member of staff on their break thought it appropriate to roll a cigarette whilst leaning over the trays which included one my cakes were on by the side of me. When I questioned it she said to me 'well no one else has ever said any thing' then also preceeded to add ' it's not like I am smoking it'. This was in front of other colleagues one of whom was making my coffee. They responded that 'she is on her break'Really!!!! Appalling way to behave and speak to a customer raising a legitimate concern.

Lovely coffee, but sandwiches / wraps all had onions which I can’t eat. The large tea cake was very nice - but would have preferred a savoury option like the rest of my family.

Service and food was very good ,my only issue was it was quite pricey .not sure if I’d be returning again unless they had some decent offers on

Used to be the best coffee shop in Stourbridge....then the manager changed....awful isn't the word to sum her and her attitude up, such a shame as the other staff are simply fantastic.Needs to be replaced before more damage is done and more customers lost.

Been in here a few times whilst shopping in the town. Always plenty of seats when we've visited. Lots of choice for coffee and homemade cakes.

Great coffee and staff but needs comfy relaxing chairs and/or sofas. Seems to be more tables and chairs for students doing college work - although they spend very little on buying drinks/food.

My sister lives here and every time we take a walk into town this is our place of choice for a coffee and catch up. The staff are consistently welcoming with good banter that contributes to a lovely atmosphere all round. The place is clean and has a good choice of cakes, drinks and other food to suit all dietary needs.

This is my regular Saturday afternoon coffee fix. The staff are really what make this place. You can go to most any coffee shop and get your caffeine fix, but the guys here seem to actually take pride in their work.The coffee is pretty good, although I have had better. Having a choice of a house and a regularly changed specialist bean is a nice touch. The food is a high point, and even as a non-veggie, I really enjoy their veggie burrito. Their selection of cakes is great and worth the price tag.Not a perfect place, but still the best coffee shop in Stourbridge.

This is the nicest cafe in Stourbridge. I would definitely say I am a regular both with friends as well as on my own. It is a great cafe to have a good catch up in, with friends but also one of my favourite places to sit on my own and study or just have 10 minutes to myself. It is always a lovely atmosphere sometimes quite enough so study in and sometimes it has a lovely buzz to it which is also nice. The staff are amazing and friendly, coffee and range of drinks is fab and definitely can't fault the cakes!

Not the relaxing atmosphere that we had hoped for and experienced previously at this venue. We arrived at about 5.20pm which is 40 minutes before the store closing time. We sat down with our drinks and the 3 other people that were in the store when we arrived soon left. Nothing wrong with the drinks but as we were sat the door was opened and left open while the chairs and tables were brought in from outside. This wasn't done quietly and as we were sat opposite the door we struggled to hear our conversation. Already feeling uncomfortable, we were then approached by a member of staff asking if we had finished with our cups as she wanted to "do one more load", making reference to the fact that they were loading the dishwasher (also very loudly) before closing. We had only been in there for 10 minutes and it was clear that our cups were half full. Not the best service for a place that usually has a very good atmosphere and focus on customer service but on this occasion we were made to feel that we were being rushed out of the place so that they could close early!

Nice feel as you walk in, staff are really friendly & the coffee tastes great (only downside is maybe they put a bit to much vanilla in) Will try the food next time I’m in as it looked great

I love the atmosphere in coffee1. There are quotes and artwork on the walls and even some books to read while you drink a cuppa at the back of the store. Really great service and thoroughly enjoyed my hazelnut latte & veggie breakfast burrito! Will be back soon.

A great place, excellent, friendly, staff and an even better cappuccino. £2.60 each for a regular cup. We’re fast becoming regulars.

My brother and I called in here today after 'Twitching' the nearby Grey Phalarope at Lakeside Pool, Brierley Hill, Stourbridge. Lovely coffee ☕️ great cake served by very friendly and polite staff. If I lived here this would be my No 1 choice for coffee. Much better than the Big Names. Nice if one opened in Inverness . Highly Recommended.

Visit here all the time on my lunchbreak. Coffee is very good. There is outside seating. Snacks seem a little expensive. Good loyalty scheme so ask for a card then you will get a free drink once in a while. My favourite coffee shop in the area so recommended.

One of the best coffee places in Stourbridge! Large selection of drinks, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Find it hard to pass through Stourbridge without visiting! Would definitely recommend.

I have recently started going to this café in Stourbridge as I enjoy going to a café environment to do my college work. I am so glad I have discovered this place as it is such a lovely atmosphere to do my work in and also enjoy a coffee at the same time. I will be coming here loads more times...if I can get in as it always looks busy! The staff are very polite too and the prices are what you would expect to pay for such great service. Would recommend!

Coffee #1 is definitely one of the best coffee shops in Stourbridge, especially with such major competition throughout the town. I keep coming back for more!

We came here as hubby was here the day before and liked it. Nice and comfortable and friendly service. They have welsh cakes like my granny made! Free wifi nice place to come can get really busy. Stop by enjoy!

A pleasant coffee shop that has nice cakes and hot drinks - I haven't tried the meals! You can see the comings and goings on the high street and Ryemarket Shopping Centre. It has free wi fi.

I am a regular at this branch of Coffee#1 and find it difficult to pass through Stourbridge without dropping in or at least grabbing a take-out. The coffee is reliably good and their selection of teas is extremely pleasing too. There is a useful selection of snacks and cakes though perhaps their only real flaw is that the savoury selection could be a little more exciting but I am sure this is a head office issue rather than an individual shop one. However, one issue which is definitely down to individual shops is staff and by this many shops live or die and here the Stourbridge shop excels: they manage to consistently recruit staff who are friendly, helpful and cheerful and this attitude is contagious, making the atmosphere throughout the coffee shop always pleasant and relaxed. This is a great little spot to relax and enjoy a good coffee (or triple mint tea - yum!), take advantage of it if you get the opportunity.

Myself and a friend popped in for a smoothie yesterday which was absolutely beautiful. Best smoothie I've ever had, polite staff and a beautifully decorated little gem. Will definitely visit again.

Have called in here a few times recently, takeaway and sit in. Sit in today, very friendly service with a good atmosphere and good choice of seating. It can be busy but I guess that's because many others like it too!!

We visited on our first time in Stourbridge as we had been to Coffee#1 in other towns. Unfortunately, the coffee here wasn't as good and that made this place overpriced and made it unlikely for me to visit again.

Clean and modern coffee shop situated on the main High Street. Serving the normal fayre but nothing makes this stands out from all the other coffee shops in Stourbridge

The service is very good and so is the produce. It's a great atmosphere with nice music creating a chilled atmosphere. The only complaint is that it's slightly expensive but you're just paying for the great coffee

Called here for coffee only. Pleasant staff and the decoration inside was very good. The food on display (under cover) was all crying out 'Eat me'. Apart from the screaming brat pleasant experience and will be returning. Recommended.

Lovely coffees and pastries. Had several stops here, made use of loyalty card. Good selection of snacks and drinks and was ideally located in the centre of town.

Took my brother here for coffee and cake. It's got lots of seating and has an ok atmosphere ( abit dark). The staff are really friendly and the berry cheesecake was out of this world!

This is my second time visiting this place, and it's been ace every time! The place is clean with a good atmosphere, the staff are very friendly, and they have a very unique selection of drinks and confectionaries. A brilliant stop off of you're after a coffee!

Love it here, you can always get a seat and the staff are friendly. Most importantly, if you get there early enough you can choose from a wide range of great sweets like their Portuguese custart tarts or individual summer fruit cheesecakes - the range of food is different from the norm but it sells out really fast !

Visited late afternoon and prompt service from friendly staff. Cafe is spacious and airy with tables well spaced out with a variety of seating. Good above standard coffee shop.

OK coffee if you can get served or find a seat lacks personality from the staff if you can see them as the counters are piled high

Went with daughter. We both had coffee and cake. Good coffee and quality cake. My daughter had chocolate brownie which she said was really good and I had cheesecake.The cheesecake was too much for me to eat so the friendly staff bagged what I had left for me to take home. Very clean establishment. Staff friendly and helpful. We came here on a recomendation and will be going back again.

The coffee is the clear winner here, much better than a Costa or Coffee Nero etc. The cakes and food are quite typical of most coffee shops. I had a ham and cheese toastie which was very nice albeit a tad on the small side.

Working our way around all the coffee outlets locally. This one is definitely a breath of fresh air. Lovely inside, with opening large windows when it is warm. Coffee always great and fair priced food with periodic offers.

Well l found this place a couple of months ago it's lovely so warm,cosy inviting lovely atmosphere l always have the spiced chai and teacake they go hand in hand well worth the money.

Saturday morning a nice walk in Stourbridge and of course a coffee stop . What should have been a pleasant experience was totally spoiled by the state of the tables . What is the point of clearing dirty trays and cups from the tables and not wiping them clean at the same time . The state of some of the tables was disgraceful .I thought the coffee was expensive as well . Back to Costa next time .

Had some time to kill in Stourbridge on Friday, decided to stop here for a hot chocolate.

Lovely café, which my friend and I have visited on several occasions. Good for cuppa and cake or light lunch (sandwiches, paninis, etc). Cakes and pastries are delicious! Free refills on tea (but only the water, so a bit weak second time around!). Staff are lovely and friendly.

Tried coffee#1 for the first time today. I went in with my mom and my two year old for a coffee and cake. It had been open a few months but has always been busy which is good. Today it was a bit quieter so have it a try.

Had doorstep granary toast and a flat white to take away. Lovely bread and quality coffee. Just lovely

They say a change is as good as a rest, we decided to try here for lunch rather than our usual at Nero's.

Met a work colleague here for a catchup. Coffee was good - what I wanted wasn't on the menu, but they made it for me anyway. Carrot and walnut cake was delicious. Friendly, helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere.

I've no qualms paying for a nice coffee and a piece of cake. When I'm lured in by a two for one smoothie on a warm Saturday afternoon then even better!

A new coffee bar which seems to be setting the bar for service and quality from the off . Friendly staff who seem always happy to help and good drinks and cakes .

Good selection of food and drink in a clean and quirky-ish cafe. It's a chain cafe, but it still feels a little independent.

Stourbridge has many coffee shops but this one is well worth a visit. The choice of drinks and cakes are lovely. The ambience and décor make it an enjoyable visit.The windows open fully to make it an al fresco experience on warm summer days. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of going into this coffee shop for the first time today and I am so glad I did.I had the BEST cappachino I have ever had it will not be my last visit i can assure you.The staff are friendly , polite and helpful a credit to themselves and the company.Thank you and I'm looking forward to my next visit x
