The cafe is looked big from the outside but it was small and was full of people on their laptops, some of which were taking a lot of space up!! The food was overpriced (7 pounds for a smoothie) and there wasn’t much choice, so it’s probably a good place for a quick coffee. Customer service wasn’t great so I won’t be going there again.

This coffee shop is quite the find! I don't know if there are more places that don't charge for choosing alternative milk for your drink in London but this is the first one I have actually come across. That being said, the staff is really nice and attentive. Their mocca is my favourite and the white chocolate brownie is also excellent. I will definitely come back but also recommend this place to everyone that would like to try some delicious drinks and treats and not be overcharged for choosing to have a drink with alternative milk.

What a pleasant surprise this was. Fabulous coffee and good service. We didn't eat but the selection of pastries on the counter looked nice enough.

The coffee was very good; the couscous were excellent, other items were at least OK, and the staff was friendly; however, service was very slow and our party of five received their food at different intervals.

Lovely decor and ambiance too. Great spot to work from. Only downside is you'll realise how terrible Starbucks coffee is after you've tried theirs.

This is the sister cafe of the one I visit where I live in Ealing. They roast their own coffee which is really nice quality. Their cakes and sandwiches are excellent too plus it is very cosy, friendly and comfortable.

Coffee is faultless so definitely does what it says on the tin! 😇 Food limited with brunch menu now limited to weekends which is a shame and can be a bit hit & miss. Friendly staff. Please transfer back to this branch the great great scone and Afghan biscuit maker!- we miss them. Totally recommend for the coffee👍🏼

Easy proximity to Holloway Road. Cosy venue. Great coffee. Generally very friendly staff. But one meal (the green eggs) arrived about 15-20 minutes later than everyone else's with little apology and the avocado was so heavily flavoured with lemon that it overpowered everything else. Disappointing.

I frequent the sister branch of this place in Ealing but have never been to this place. It is much smaller and a little dark inside but the staff are really friendly and we only wanted a piece of cake which is similar to the Zee pudding which they do in Ealing - apricots and chocolate in a bread and butter pudding type of thing - anyhow we got a really good size piece for £3.40 and it was delicious!

Every cafe develops its own character, and Coffee Zee's seems to be its singing barista. Although there's a far more established branch of this independent coffee cafe in Ealing, this Holloway Road outlet (close to Arsenal's Emirates stadium) is fresh, young and rapidly gaining in popularity. Both cafe and bean-roaster, the decor is straightforward, with old coffee bean sacks draped over the bar. The coffee really is first rate. The La Marzocco espresso machine dispenses an excellent brew, but ultimately it's down to the quality of the beans and the roast. The shutters come down at 6pm. This is essentially a daytime haunt for students at the nearby uni, and trendy young things from Islington. A superior cuppa, with the options of cakes and brownies or savoury breakfasts, brunches and lunch.

Out I went, for a thoroughly intense knees-up with Janto, Chunger and Big Mervyn. After drowning our sorrows with Big Merv’s inheritance from his deid Mam, and ingesting some lighter fluid avec workerman’s glue, we headed to The Joker for a knees up. First in, Chunger got in the pints which were all exceedingly tasty and helped wash down the acrid tang of glue at the back of my throat. It was only after Janto repeatedly and brazenly kept impersonating a couple on a date next to us, by doing the young man’s lovely, soft posh accent that things really got funny. ‘WHAT IS SO FUNNY?’ He boomed. ‘Please let’s just leave, these men are savages and I think they’re on something, they’re out of their heads!’ said his date. We laughed some more and Merv said, too right, we’re out of our heads on good times, and also a heavy dose of my deid Ma’s dosh. ‘You sick freaks’ intoned the gent. ‘You think you’re so funny!’ It was then that Chunger stood up and roared with the strength of a hurricane into his own pint glass - ‘I AM TRYING TO HAVE A LAUGH. MY FATHER WAS NOT VERY NICE TO ME’ We fell about the floor laughing and ordering more pints which flowed as fast as the beautiful currents of the Arno. Things became decidedly ugly when I took a gulp of the young gent’s gravy which was on his plate, but Big Mervyn settled accounts by leaning on the man’s shoulder and whispering a few sweet nothings. Overall, I had a cracking night and the craic was 90 as we Ho Ho Ho’d all the way home with the young couple’s umbrella which they very kindly gave to us, as well as £50, which was very generous.
