I stopped off here on my way to a friend. Lovely glass of Malbec to pass the time. Would would be brilliant is if all their staff were trained to serve alcohol so they can do it readily at all times of the day when most people might come for it, and also if they had Chiraz on their menu.

I loved this little gem. First thing I noticed is the freshly ground coffee smell. You don’t get this from places nowadays and showed the authentic feel of the place. I bought some local chocolates called Yvette’s Chocolates and I can’t wait to try them. Point being they support local businesses which is so important. Morgan who served us was awesome and u even tried recruiting him. Great experience. We’ll be back tomorrow.

Chance find and I am so pleased. What a lovely way to start the day with sourdough toast and a big cup of tea. Reasonably priced too. Great customer service (thanks rosy) clean and lovely vibe. Will be back for a wine night! Dog friendly 👌

Best coffee in Hemel and the most lovely pastries from Bakehouse Apsley or The Rex Bakery. Also, the sourdough toasties are to die for. The wine selection is also second to none.

We were looking for somewhere in Flamstead where we could meet some friends before walking to Markyate and back. We spotted this coffee shop and were very pleased to have found it. It is obviously enjoyed by locals but we were also made very welcome. The various coffees we had were of excellent quality and flavour. The biscuits we had (including gluten-free for one of our party) were very good. The cakes looked delicious. The lady running it was very friendly. We'll be happy to return.

Pleasant coffee shop on the high street with a lovely range of home made cakes. Allergies and special diets including gluten free and vegan well catered for. We really liked the carrot cake! Friendly and prompt service from staff. Its also an interesting adaptation of an old building.

What a lovely place to come across after a day's walking! Good local cakes and excellent coffee. The friendliest staff I e come across for a long time. I noticed a previous review criticised the cafes bathroom. I have to say how refreshing it was to find a shop/cafe who allows the use of the facilities even to non customers.

Lovely, welcoming stop halfway round my cycle route. Friendly staff, delicious home-made cakes and decent coffee. Enjoyed a very tasty “brockie” (brownie/cookie combo) with my cappuccino today.
