Absolutely despicable and contemptuous treatment of customers. My husband was caught in a thunderstorm with a 9 year old, 6 year old and 18 month old in a thunderstorm. They wouldn’t let him in sighting covid (even though it’s June 2023) so he waited outside to get a coffee. He stood outside under the canopy cover while it tipped with rain and Thundered. The cafe decided right at that moment, in a thunderstorm, to roll it in. In doing so it dumped all the water on the canopy like a bucket into the pram, drenching the sleeping 18 month old. Not only waking her up, but she was soaked through from head to toe with cold dirty water and the pram was soaked too. My husband was so angry he did throw his coffee back into the shop but this was clearly an understandable reaction to soaking our baby and children with cold water. The kids came home crying their eyes out and soaked through.

CotC does the best bacon baps! Perfectly cooked bacon (crispy) unlike many other places that hugely under cook bacon. Large soft white bap to complete the perfect breakfast/brunch Highly recommend the pastries and coffee too. To top it off, dog friendly, what more could you ask for.

So lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The coffee is excellent, as well as the delicious gelatti. They also have a great range of sandwiches and cakes. Well worth a pit-stop if you're in the area.

This little corner cafe is one of the highlights of lockdown life! The staff are always friendly with us and our little pup and we’ll pop by most days for coffee.. as well as to feel a little normality. Definitely pick up a brownie or a cheese toastie when you’re there!

Nice little informal coffee shop popular (unsurprisingly) with parents and young children - the park is just opposite! Good coffee. Cakes, croissants, sandwiches etc are perfectly OK but unexceptional. Rather crampt but there is outside seating too and it's dog friendly. Casual.

Visited today, great coffee; however, please keep handling money (dirty) and then food separate. Apart from that a lovely little place.

Great for a friendly family meal or a romantic night out. This place has been open for over 25 years and continues to deliver tasty classic Italian food. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have an excellent wine list and the food is well-priced. We visited for a first holy communion and they could not have been more accommodating, putting on a drinks reception in the garden and then decorating our table.

Sorrento gets it right - a perfectly lit, warm atmosphere; staff who are polite and friendly; food that is great quality and not overpriced. This has been somewhere for our family to have special meals for years now.

Disgusting. £37 for a margarita and calzone. The margarita's mozzarella was gelatinous and disgusting. The passata on the base was awful. The meat in the calzone tasted like it was frozen. Just all in all an awful meal. If you want a delicious pizza that is actually worth the cost, try Pizzarium in Epsom. Actual Neapolitan pizza instead of this god awful mess. Truly disgusting for the price. £37 down the drain but at least now I know, and hopeful can warn others. You'd be better off buying from Dominos than from these cowboys. Charging people out the rear end for this garbage, they should be ashamed of themselves.
