Coffee Link in Suffolk Coastal

Very disappointed to see that alternatives are offered only at an extra charge of 60p even just for a splash in a cup of tea. Staff said this was the owners decision and there was nothing they could do about it. Won’t return for this reason!

Visited late afternoon, lovely setting, v pleasant inside, served tasty coffee and lemon meringue pie BUT really grumpy/rude staff, they let this cafe down.

Felt like customers were an annoyance. Had to ask if our table could be cleared of the previous customers cups/plates when our coffees arrived. Toilet seat was up in the toilets and showed brown stains all around the rim. Plenty of other nice coffee shops in Woodbridge, unlikely to go back again.

This is the second time we have been here for coffee. Both times the young staff seem busy but somewhat discontented. There is a slight odd atmosphere about the place. The coffee tasted weak and stale and my husband and I suffered stomach discomfort after both visits. Will give this one a wide birth in future. Shame as is a nice spot to visit.

Poor customer service unfriendly welcoming when enter the shop and lack of customer service from the woman who served me she had a foreign accent and black hair and had red nail varnish on her finger she seemed abrupt disintrested and lack of customer services and seemed like she didn't want to be there she has a lack of enthusiasm and was more interested it seemed in finishing her shift as I over heard saying she finished at 2pn and i visited the shop between 1pm and 2pm seriously poor atmosphere as well in the shop it wasn't busy but seemed depressing and not what I expect from a good service provided even more so consider l have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 20 years I would seriously consider training again and working on a customer focused way of training the member of staff mentioned

Great place to stop for a coffee while on a dog walk along the front at Woodbridge which we have done many times in 2023 so decided to make our way there to start the New Year. They are dog friendly and the coffee is great with quick service and a lovely atmosphere. Although we didn't purchase any, the cakes look lovely and with their loyalty card scheme, got a free coffee this morning.

We arrived at 4.30 to be abruptly told they were closed. I said the website indicated they were open. I was told it was NYE & they were closing early. The website shows that the times for 1st Jan could be different to normal, but have no indication that 31st Dec would be different to advertised. I think the two young girls wanted to be gone & didn't wish to stay open. Not good enough . Its a shame as we frequent the shop quite a lot & have always been satisfied with the service & products.

I really cannot understand why a business which specialises in Tea and Coffee cannot make a decent Flat White or a strong Latte. We ordered both and what we got resembled and tasted like hot milk. So disappointing.

I came here for a quick coffee, didn't expect much but Claire served me and she went above an beyond to make sure everything was perfect with my coffee.. I would highly recond coming here especially for a service like Claire gave.

If this is the same company as Coffee Link at Stansted ( roasted in Suffolk on the cup) there is absolutely no flavour in the coffee

We discovered this lovely restaurant towards the end of lockdown, it was great to be able to sit outside in such a nice atmosphere. When life slowly returned to normal we found ourselves happy to use Coffee Link, whenever we were in Woodbridge. Great coffee, scones and cakes. The staff are helpful, the facilities well presented, I've just one improvement point: it would be great if you could do something about the loo seat that just doesn't fit!

They close at 5 but if you arrive after 4 you will find them sweeping up and serving you in paper cups. They start turning the lights out too. The staff are very keen to leave, which makes you feel rather uncomfortable. So come early. Coffee is good and so is the cake. Just don't expect a welcome in the late afternoon.

First visit for a quick cappuccino and a tasty cake. Fortunately they allow dogs inside so that's a bonus,

Popped in with my wife and parents on a short walk this morning just as a small rain shower broke. Nice friendly service. Great coffee. Enjoyed the break

Visited today and had a chocolate cream milkshake. This was probably the best milk shake I have ever had - and reasonably priced too!!

As others have said, it took a little while to be noticed and served, but from then on - all good. The bacon roll/coffee combination for £5.45 was good and very tasty. Coffee very nice. Nice location too.

It's got the location, it's got a very nice seating area, it serves a good selection of drinks and snacks. But my god I've never witnessed anyone take so long to make a cup of coffee. The speed of service was pathetic and the coffee was awful.

Lovely coffee house by the river, really friendly staff, well worth a visit. Wish they offered a veggie sausage option though - it is 2022!

I was cold and looking forward to a coffee and cheese scone. I went to the cafe and up to the counter. One lady was buttering rolls. Another server chatted to her, showed her things she had bought in Ipswich. Neither even acknowledged me. After 5 minutes, I coughed and tried to get attention. After 5 minutes more, I left. I have been several times, bought many drinks but will not be going back I felt embarrassed as the ladies could not have missed me. I was right in front of them

I sometimes wonder why businesses survive! For starters a board outside the coffee shop advertising various drinks including alcohol free Adamns lager after 20 mins queuing with four people working on one drinks order! My husband is finally served he ordered two non alcohol beers...

Have had the opportunity of visiting several times throughout the summer. A difficult period because of Covid restrictions but they coped well with both inside and outside seating. Staff hardworking but always helpful whilst serving both in house snacks and good choice of coffees and...
