First time we been here today and won’t be the last time honestly the service we got from the workers were unbelievable she couldn’t do enough for everyone of her customers what a warming welcome we had as well as beautiful food thank yous see yous again 👍 went out of her way to make sure the little one got a meal as well as they had ran out of mash potatoe

Ordered 18 afternoon tea's from coffee and co for my daughters break in between her wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous. They catered for gluten free and dairy free which were lovley, everyone really enjoyed them. The food selection, portions and quality far exceeded our expectations. Thank you

Sausage, Bacon & Egg roll was delicious. Really reasonable price and the service is always top class. Really friendly whether you pop in or give them a ring, definitely worth trying if you’ve never been.

Very welcoming mother and daughter team who love dogs. Fantastic value as most meals are onlu £5.50 for good home cooked meals. Latte only £2.20 from a great coffee machine.

My first time sitting in at Coffee and Co, I've had their afternoon tea but went in today for lunch. This is a small family run coffee shop/cafe and it's good to see them open to the public after lockdown. Lunch was delicious and we took home a couple of bits of cake for later, equally delicious.

Whilst not living in the area and unable to visit family, I got in touch with Coffee & Co. They were able to deliver afternoon tea for two to our Grandparents as a treat. Ordered 2 cream teas to collect as a treat during lockdown 2 and over the moon. Everything was fresh and tasty & very reasonably priced! I will be returning again.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in the town.The food is great, good portions and excellent prices.Proper chips too.I love the corned beef toasties with salad and chips. Very few places seem to do them nowadays so it’s always a treat. The salads and homemade pies are so good too.

Had 2 afternoon teas delivered they were absolutely gorgeous £10 for 2 huge trays great mixture of treats will definitely order again i highly recommend this lovely little coffee shop

Since lockdown Coffee & Co have been my go to for takeaway afternoon tea. The service is great, from being able to tailor what you want included to receiving a call to say the tea is ready for collection. Unbeliavable quality and value for money especially the 2 for £10 deal. These have been a hit with everyone in my family and I hope this business will be around for years to come!

we came here for the eat out to help out afternoon tea. The afternoon tea itself was very varied and delicious. Homemade sandwiches and scones (I think). Staff were really friendly, kept coming over to ask if we were OK and if we needed anything else which was lovely. Would definitely go back!

What can I say one of the best afternoon teas I have every had. Hazel and Philippa gave us fab afternoon excellent service as usually plenty of food and choices and unlimited tea/ coffee even got goody box to take home. Great treat for just £8 that happy we booked straight up for another visit and afternoon tea next week

They were absoutely amazing everyone commented how beautiful they were and the service was second to none from the first time I ordered them to the actually delivery. We got afternoon tea for the family during lockdown and it was absolutely lovely. It was so easy to order and when we picked it up the staff were lovely. We were given a choice of what we wanted on it which I absolutely love because we’re all fussy so like to pick our own and always feel awkward asking - we didn’t need to here!One afternoon tea would be enough for one person (Unless you’re like me and always want one to yourself). Such good value for money and everyone loved it. Will definitely be back and would recommend!!

Ordered two Father Day’s afternoon teas (£7.50 each but each tea came with a bottle of beer) via FB messenger. Paid bank transfer and gave an approximate time of when I would collect (or delivery is only £2). Cheese products substituted as requested due to allergy. Large quantity with a range of sandwiches, savouries, cakes and fruit served on a lidded tray - took me two days to eat everything in one tea! Cheapest and best present afternoon tea in Seaham and the surrounding area - thank you and well done!

I ordered an afternoon tea for a family gathering. Communication was easy and prompt. All requests were accommodated. I picked up the tea at the time agreed and everything was ready. Service was friendly. The food was delicious and excellent value for money. I would recommend Coffee and Co wholeheartedly for any occasion.

Lovely afternoon tea delivered for my friend's birthday yesterday. Fab customer service, from changing the content (she's not keen on scones) and replacing with a cake and some fruit, down to calling me for an alternative delivery address when my friend wasn't in, simply cannot fault them. My friend was over the moon - it made her day. Only wish I could've been there to share it!

Had a takeout afternoon tea today for 4. The quality and quantity of the food was fab and tasted absolutely lush. We all really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Have only been able to swing by to pick up take away coffee during the current Pandemic but their coffee is lovely and the service is friendly and welcoming. They aren't able to have sit down customers at the moment due to the crisis but their cafe looks lovely!

My partner ordered us afternoon tea for my birthday. He ordered 4 adults and a child’s afternoon tea. It was amazingly priced and tasted fab! They were huge. The lady who delivered it was so lovely and followed all distancing rules and was wearing PPE. Can’t wait for an excuse to do this again. Thank you all!

Purchased 2 as gifts for a lockdown birthday and they were amazing . The service was great and the price is fantastic. I was told they tasted amazing, so much so that the person i ordered has purchased as gifts for her parents! They arrived exactly when they said they would and we’re great value! Cheapest in the area by far and perfect!

Had an amazing Afternoon Tea experience at Coffee & Co in Seaham today. Service was excellent (as always) but we had never tried their Afternoon Tea service before - lot's of variety, many different options offered, plenty to eat and service which is second to none. I went in this afternoon about 2-30, not my first visit. I had a delicious ham and cheese panini accompanied by a generous slad, coleslaw and helping of chips, plus a nice pot of tea. The lady serving was very friendly, cheery and attentive as was her daughter who owns it and does the cooking. Very reasonably priced and well worth itJust a pity it wasn't a bit larger inside

Popped in today while our dogs were being groomed, what a great little place. We two bowls of fresh tomato and basil soup with a corned beef toastie, absolutely wonderful so flavourful and massive portions of soup, the server was attentive but not in your face. This was our first visit, it won’t be our last and to top it off it’s dog friendly, we will be returning soon without a doubt

Coffee and Co has always been a smashing cafe in Seaham's church Street.It's recently changed hands and dare I say it's even better.A friendly welcome is followed by conformable seats and clean marble tables.The prices are wallet and family of 4 friendly. I had the medium breakfast which was plentiful and well presented.A great start for my Monday morning.Cheers

Hi I went here with my dad on Thursday 25th April 2019 I had chilli con carne and rice and my dad had double beef burger onion rings chips peas fried onion and two Carmel latte

I challenge anyone to have a three course meal here. The food is superb and the portions are huge. Lovely service and good value

This gem of a cafe has been our choice since we tried it soon after opening. We have tried all the cafes in Seaham and there are some lovely ones but this has for us all the ingredients we look for . Martin the owner and chef is a very personable man and goes out of his way to make sure we have great food and service, the breakfasts are superb and all quality ingredients, I usually have an omelette and that I highly recommend. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, it’s a very popular place to eat.

Originally in pink decor, it's been transformed in the last week. The walls will soon have their pictures up. The coffee is really nice, a choice of types too. The hot meals are homely and plentiful, and the cakes are well above average, and in generous portions. The staff are helpful, and engage with the customers on an almost personal friend basis.

I visited coffee & co on Saturday 2nd December, and I was more than unimpressed, the service was dreadful and the food mediocre, this is a cafe on the down as I used to like going there but will not be back now.

Called in for breakfast on Sunday morning-we both had bacon sandwiches which were great the coffee was very nice too. Excellent service and good value. More people should support local independent businesses like this one. We will definitely be back.

Visited 2 day and greeted with a lovely friendly assistant philippa.ordered omelette with salad n a latte each.i have to say it was amazing on very generous size plate filled with salad n trimmings.in fact the best omelette i have had.my mother who is very hard 2 please was also in agreement.well done martin the chef very good value for money and phillipa for a fast very friendly service .will deffo be back during week to try breakfast.

really enjoyed my visit here. proper grub available; bacon, sausage,egg, and beans type stuff, nothing too fancy but sometimes you just need good hearty food. good portions too. decent selection of coffees and the home baking was outstanding. on top of this, it feels like a proper community cafe - very friendly staff, the customers all seem to enjoy a chat, there was just a nice buzz about the place. I'd hope visitors would come by here rather than opting for the better known commercial chains.

We called in for coffee & scones one Sunday morning & there was only 1 other couple in the café. The coffee we got was in the smallest cup possible & not very warm, the scones were ok but nothing I would go back to this café for.

Don't live in seaham but came for a visit on the 28th was feeling very hungry and decided on a little coffee shop in seaham town centre call coffee and co the place was not very big but well decorated and the cakes looked fantastic the girl in the shop was brilliant she great me and my friend as soon as we came in she was very helpful and help me and my friend on some pie and chips which I have not had in years the pie was fantastic I ask how long the shop had been open I got a glimpse of the young lass name which was unusual Phillpa she said it had been open just over a year she asked us if we wanted a cake I said if it was possible to take some of the coffee and walnut cake to take a way with us I also ask phillpa who makes the cakes and she said the cook who was in the kitchen made them. They look fantastic and when I got home the cake was eating up with help From my husband we will definitely be back and will bring the hubby next time as I think he would love it and just for the service alone one happy customer

Visited coffee & co at seaham had a latte and a cake , latte was lovely, nice and smooth , cake delicious, very Nice feel in the cafe lovely staff , I was served by a young girl called phillipa who was very nice, I would definitely recommend

Went with a friend who had looked it up and seen it had a reviews, we weren't disappointed the staff were very helpful and friendly, the café was nicely decorated and seat very comfortable, now the most important part the food was wonderful all home baked we had lemon drizzle cake it was fantastic, a big pat on the back to the cook. Well worth a visit.

Couldn't get a seat in our normal place we go, so gave this a go. Nice and clean, friendly staff, average prices, cakes and scones looked homemade and tempting. We had coffee and scones. Very nice. Pleasant atmosphere, obviously a regular crowd visit so that says a lot. On the whole it was very nice.

Only stopped for coffee whilst shopping but had to have a scone for me and rocky road for my husband. Obviously homemade and lovely and fresh. Coffee lovely too. We saw lots of lovely food coming out of the kitchen and will definately be back for a proper meal.

This has got be a winner in Seaham. First visit and only had coffee but nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Most importantly the coffee was hot. Would have liked cream but maybe if enough people ask they will start to offer it. There is a varied menu, for breakfasts and lunches. The cakes and scones looked delicious and all home cooked at very reasonable prices. Next time we will be back for food.

Visited here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The quality of food is amazing. Meat produce is from a proper butchers, none of ur tasteless cheap rubbish u sometimes find in other, similar establishments. The owner is a lovely guy, friendly, polite and always cheerful. Everything is cooked from fresh and nothing is too much trouble. The first time i went, we had quite a long wait, but the lad was on his own and the cafe was quite full. I normally wud have had something to say about that, but when the food arrived it was bloody delicious!! I wud have waited double the time without complaining as it was that good. The owner was very apologetic for the wait tho but i laughed it off with a joke which he took in very good spirit! I ordered a breakfast last time i went in and asked for it without beans, he offered an extra sausage or some bacon in place. Altho this is only a cafe, the quality of food is much better than ive sampled in most reataurants in all honesty. The only complaint i have is hes not open 24 hours a day cos i wud never cook again if he was lol. The ambience is really good too. As is the decor. Fantastic fantastic fantastic. Oh and did i say fantastic? Lol. Wud reccommend to everybody!! Xx
