I love this place, the owner is really friendly and the food and hot drinks are good. It was recommended to me when I went to the area & I an glad it was. The paninis are excellent, as are the egg muffins.

I am a regular customer, one of many at this friendly cafe. Interesting and plentiful menu with good value; All of which, despite the owners earlier concern, the cafe has survived and flourished since the advent of an adjacent Starbucks- also a friendly place- as general in Whitton

Had the most delicious Roasted Cauliflower soup with Sourdough buttered toast. Highly recommended , my favourite place in Whitton Village High Street. The coffee is top too. Outside seating available too. Small independent coffee shop where service is 1st class and always with a smile.

Three hungry Arsenal fans stopped for breakfast at The Coffee Bean 02/11/2019 Generally, in the past, I’ve been dragged screaming and kicking to Whitton Cafe further along the High Street. The Coffee Bean is a much nicer environment to enjoy breakfast. Need a table moved to accommodate a bigger group? - nothing was too much trouble. Truth be told..fellow traveller, Stumpy is very set in his ways.... For me, the breakfast was excellent, very tasty and substantial enough. Stumpy prefer quantity to quality, but as acting chauffeur, I get the right to choose. So, we’ll be back.... Thank you,

Seemingly a very popular coffee house with plenty of regular customers. We stopped for two coffees and read the newspapers on the tables and chairs provided outside. Very comfortable, good service and a beautiful, delicious cappuccino - check my picture. Only one downside, my coffee could have been hotter.

Visited this area again and so popped in for breakfast. I ordered a sausage sandwich and sat at a table outside. The sandwich arrived very quickly and the automatically brought a range of sauce bottles for me without having to ask. The sandwich was well cooked and tasty. Coffee was also very nicely tasting. As found previously the service was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. If in twickenham or visiting for the rugby then I would definitely recommend.

Visited late Saturday morning for a coffee and snack. I was tempted by the breakfast which was very well cooked - they replaced the egg for an extra piece of bacon which was very much appreciated and also they cooked the bacon to be crispy as requested. In addition there was a nicely cooked sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms and toast - not buttered as requested - so an excellent English breakfast. In addition the breakfast bagel was very good and there were freshly baked cakes which were delicious. Coffee was also very nicely tasting and not too strong which you can find at the chains. There were a range of papers available to read. In addition the service was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. If in twickenham or visiting for the rugby then I would definitely recommend.

Visited the first time and the food was greedy. Last and final visit from or was not cooked. Very bad service and rude owner, would not advise to eat here as not a professional chief and food poising is very likely.

What a lovely cafe, such warm welcoming staff, very helpful and so friendly. Absolutely delicious coffee, I visited briefly with my daughter for a take away coffee and it was the nicest coffee I've had for a long time (and I'm a big coffee drinker). I'd highly recommend! A million times better than Starbucks, better coffee, better service. All together a great independent cafe.

This small but cosy cafe is hidden on the high street but is really a good one. Great rich roast Italian coffee and sandwich prepared freshly while you wait, just couldn't fault it. Quick service and modern but pleasant decor, no wonder it's my wife's favourite coffee shop.

I first visited this place a couple of months ago with a friend for lunch. At first we thought of visiting Starbucks next door but decided to try this small and cosy cafe. I'm so glad we did. Excellent food. The bacon brie & mango chutney is a must try. I've been back 3 times for lunch with different friends and all of them have remarked how good the cafe is. Their home made cakes look delicious although I haven't tried one yet. Perhaps next time. Definitely a place to go if you fancy a bit of breakfast or lunch when in the area.

From the outside it looks relatively small but nestled in there is a gem of a place. Once you get in, its spacious and airy with a very traditional yet modern charm. The decor being simplistic, still manages to catch your eye. Was soon greeted by a charming hostesses who took our order. My coffee was one of the best I had in a long long time and I was glad I chose this place over the chain cafes as I wanted to support a local business. The sandwiches were made to order and very tasty with ample filling in them. The pastry selection was great and moreover they were homemade. I mean, how many other places can actually managed that! I spoke to the host and came to know that he was a head chef of a five star boutique hotel in London before he opened this place. No wonder, they do it so well. The bill was reasonable and I was happy to pay a tip. Just made an ordinary day so very special!

Always warm welcome. Cosy, intimate setting with tables for two or three but tables are re-arranged to cater for the needs of small parties. Good menu with variety of light bites, panninies, bagels, omelettes, etc. and a weekly special. The breakfast (served until 2pm) will satisfy the largest appetite and like everything else, is made fresh while you wait. Ladies who enjoy tea and something naughty will enjoy the home made cakes. It is my destination stop every trip to the high street and serves the best cup of coffee I've tasted.Yvonne W

Its lovely and clean and cozy. The service is marvellous.I walk with a crutch so I appreciated the fact that i could sit down and your order is brought to you. I had tea which came in the correct size cup. Unlike a certain coffee chain which gives you a huge sundae glass! There was a little jug with the milk, a teapot shaped dish for the used tea bag and a small complementary biscuit! My bacon muffin was divine, not greasy and just the right amount of crunch. And all at a great price. A far nicer experience that the mainstream coffee chains.Lets patronise our high street shops as much as we can

This little family coffee shop and as l would says small restrauant in whitton high street is the best eating place that you would find in whiitton high steet. All of the food which one would be spoilt for choice is made freshly to order and delicious to eat. The owners would go out of their way to help you. The cappunicos are delicous and reasonably priced. I eat in this family owned business. nearly every day and have been for the past 1 and a half years and I have never been disapponted nor spolt for choice. I would sincerely recommend this little coffee bean/restraunt. to anyone coming to whitton high street of even the local people l guarantee rthey will not be disappointed. I wrote the first review of this cafe last year but it appears to have disappeared? However since then the standards have been maintained. Anyone looking for a drink, snack, breakfast, lunch or brunch should walk straight past the chain shops that have begun to blight our high street and walk into the little coffee bean. Service is lovely, food is good value and fresh. If you want some cake, ask for the home made one, and the strawberry milk shake is far superior than in many chains. If you are local, I really do recommend visiting the Coffee Bean, places like this deserve our custom because they are good. There is one more cafe in Whitton worth a visit, but I'm not mentioning it here. Come and find it.

A lovely little cafe in Whiton high street. I regularly come here for cappuccino and cake, and I would recommend the homemade cakes by the lady herself. They are superior to the brought in items, although they are not bad at all. Just ask which ones are home made.Friendly service, a nice atmosphere when the place is full, and good food. The sandwiches and ciabattas are really tasty and the small accompanying salad is always crisp, fresh and nicely dressed. Coffee is very good and it is nice to sit outside on a sunny day.I love Whitton, it is a nice small, 'village feel', town and this little cafe is one of several new ventures over recent years that have contributed to Whittons rise as nice place to shop and eat.Neil P.

Assured by the staff that the jacket potato was baked in the oven and not microwave. This was not the case. With my cheese and beans filling I had complimentary filling of two hairs. On pointing this out I did not receive an apology and also ended up paying full price for the meal. Never go there again. Disappointed.

The new owners have dramatically changed the quality of food and service for the better.Very friendly owners who offer first rate service provide old world charm and a very affordable offer of fare.We indulged in their full Christmas meal experience which was a number of courses for a very reasonable price. The white chocolate cheesecake was the best I have had.I also recommend their cooked breakfasts which are competitively priced.I hope they go from strength to strength as they deserve to. This small but very friendly cafe is one not to be missed. The doctor is clean and fresh but with just a hint of "old world". When you walk in it is a little like walking into a tea shop, aas mentioned in another review don't be put off by the name. The food is freshly made to order and on most days there are normally two choices of proper "homemade" cakes. Other cakes are also available. This couple are really trying to give you a chance to just step in, sit down and enjoy a very relaxing few moments out of a hectic day. Give them a go, for me it is the fgull breakfast, the bacon and black pudding muffin with fried egg (my own concoction) But for lunch the chicken tikka cheese melt is a particular favourite of both my girl friend and my self.

The food was very tasty. I was out with my friend and was craving some major desserts. Stopped by this place, tried most of their desserts. We also landed up eating their paninis, which were very different than the other cafes. Once again I would mention not to leave the place without tasting their chocolate dessert & their Tart of the day for amazing prices. Thanks Guys!!will defi come back soon!!

If you've not been here, I would suggest you to try it just to experience what epitomises comfort food with modern interiors, bright colours yet calming. Don't be baffled by the name, this place does more than coffee. Must try the bacon brie & mango chutney panini or Greek salad & parma ham salad, they're a personal recommendation. If like me you can't resist a home baked chocolate cake, this is the right place. They're pretty good at tailoring the menu with the ever changing British weather or unpredictable palates. Banofie pie, Eton Mess and Tiramisu sundaes are a perfect choice for lounge food at a reasonable price of £3.50. What a bargain eh? Must try.

Although the coffee is amazing, the customer service from the gentleman behind the counter was not welcoming - there was no smile, or any friendliness whatsoever. I actually felt like I was intruding. For nearly £4 for a coffee, you would expect a friendlier atmosphere. A shame. I don’t want to return after that experience.

We recently had our wedding at Pembroke Lodge, and I cannot say enough good things about the venue manager, Robert. From the moment we started planning to the big day itself, he was absolutely incredible. Robert went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He was always available to answer our questions, offer solutions, and provide creative suggestions that enhanced our vision. He coordinated effortlessly with our vendors, making sure everyone was on the same page, which took so much stress off our shoulders. On the day of the wedding, he was a true rockstar! He made sure the timeline flowed perfectly, from setting up the ceremony space to ensuring the reception transitions were seamless. His dedication and hands-on approach allowed us to enjoy every moment without worrying about a single thing. Our wedding was a dream come true, and we owe so much of that to him and his team! Thank you, for everything you did to make our day magical.
