Well the soup was terrible prawn toasts 2 out of 10 then I feel sick writing this how can sweet and sour chicken be so terrible. The batter thick greasy the chicken inside stuck too the inside of the batter. Sweet and sour sauce in a plastic dish not a sign of any peppers or pineapple. The chips like cardboard cold disgusting. Fried rice was OK but nothing decent enough to eat with it. Cost £22 total utter disgrace call that chinese food I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The pictures show the terrible meal. Never ever again.

Best Chinese in town by a mile. Great portions with quality food. Great value too especially with the free boiled rice or chips with your meal (50p for fried rice). Portions and quality consistent with no penny pinching with meat to increase profit margins like you get in many other places. Been going here for years and will continue to do so. Always disappointed when we somewhere else.

Friendly staff, enormous portions for a very low price and a lot of options for dinner. As I know they accept cash only, but cash machine is few minutes walk away and it's worth to order there anyway

Great value food, with a lot of the Chinese mains including chips or boiled rice (fried rice 50p extra) English food also available. Friendly service.

I never knew Cods kitchen served Chinese food until a friend told me about it and highly recommended it so I gave it a go and have been many many times since. The food is full of flavour, always hot and the menu choice is large as are the portions. The salt and pepper chicken wings are to die for. The crispy chicken in sezchuan sauce is lovely too as are the rice dishes. This is now my regular Chinese. The only downside if you don't pre order is the wait sometimes as it gets so busy. Not surprising as the food is so good and is worth the wait and unfortunately they are closed on Mondays.

For a Chinese it does good food at a very good price well worth a visit will keep going back myself should become a regular before long can't wait for next meal from there getting hungry now just thinking about going back

I go here a lot because of the small dish offer (meal with rice or chips) which is much cheaper than other takeaways but still a really decent portion size, it comes in seperate containers (I can split it into two!) I can only comment on the meal I have each time which is Chicken in Schezhuan sauce and fried rice (£4.50). It is always delicious and not too salty. The only downside I have is service can be really slow, especially if it is busy inside. This can sometimes cause the chips to be slightly undercooked as they try get the orders out which is such a shame because otherwise it's a really nice place and I do recommend it!

Ordered from here for the first time ever and glad I did it. The food was great. Food was hot & tubs were fully packed! We placed a massive order for 6 of us and it was ready so fast. The people working there were lovely. Got 2 big bags of prawn crackers free too! Highly recommend you try this place! Now my new favourite Chinese

Our first visit here not realizing it was a Chinese.chicken chop suey with rice,chicken curry with rice,chips and 2 sausages, all for 12.70.couldn't make it yourself for that.food was piping hot and really tasty.now our favourite Chinese in Crewe.looking forward to our next meal.

Always used to go to Lucky Horse next door but they have become a bit hit and miss . Tried cods kitchen and this is now our Chinese takeaway of choice . Food has always been really good hot and tasty . Staff are friendly and also do smaller portions of meals . Have been a few times now and never had a bad dish from there

Ten of us had takeaway from here when Lucky Horse was shut where we go all the time. So impressed really tasty quality food. We over ordered as like I said normally go next door, actually made up and will use here from now on never even knew it was a Chinese highly recommend from a faddy Chinese food fan you want regret it maybe should keep it a secret shhhhh

Called in here due to The Lucky Horse being closed (Tuesday) Wow what a stroke of luck. I've always overlooked this place as just a chippy...... the special curry, fried rice and seaweed were gorgeous, so fresh, with succulent prawns and meat etc My place of choice from now on!

Every time I've eaten from here the food has been delicious, hot, fresh and value for money. 100% recommend

Great food, chips fast like home made not frozen, main dishes full of flavour, and the size of their large pancake rolls are huge!! Lady behind counter friendly, always a smile. It is now my regular by choice and I can recommend to all!!! :-)

Esta es la mejor comida para llevar china en la zona de Crewe por un largo camino, fuimos a todos y este es, de lejos, el más limpio y mejor calidad por un largo camino, ellos harán o añadir cualquier cosa que quieras. Si tiene cualquier aspecto negativo es que no valen, pero con buena comida, este vale la pena el viaje en coche a recogerlo.

Cod's kitchen had been taken over by a Chinese family and as such along with the full English menu there is a full Chinese menu to and personally I love Chinese and my wife likes good old fish chips and mushy peas so it's an ideal place for us the food is fresh and well cooked and very reasonable to so fancy a take away that doesn't cost a fortune then pop along to Nantwich road and see for yourself.

Este tesoro escondido, para una sabrosa comida para llevar china. Hay unos cuantos sitios de comida para llevar china en esta carretera pero este será el mejor. No me puedo quejar.

This is an excellent take away and very good value for money. We have had a Chinese and English Food and the chips are lovely. Everything is cooked fresh and is piping hot.

Love this place, both for English style chippy meals and Chinese takeaway. Food is made quickly but to a high standard. I've visited on a number of occasions and not had a bad meal. I recommend the sweet and sour, chilli, curry and the salt and pepper chicken wings. Soups are nice, especially the hot and sour and the chicken and sweet corn. You must also try the prawn crackers! Also, fish and chips are great from here too. One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area!

Waited 20 minutes for just a portion of chips. Constantly being told that it will be another 2 minutes. When I got them they were hard, greasy and had a very dry taste. Won't be going again!

I don't like Chinese food or takeaways as I'd rather cook food myself but after bring talked into it I tried it.Salt n pepper squid 1st class and not frozen either to my amazement! Liver dinner excellent.Better than any I'd ever tried.

There are more popular Chinese takeouts in Crewe but none as good as this.The food is fresh, clean and delicious. It's also very good value.Highly recommended and comfortably the best in the area.

This was our first visit. We called on a Sunday evening and decided to try this chippy. The shop is very clean and inviting. The fish and chips were cooked freshly and grease free! A portion of spare ribs was also very good. Noticed they had several phone orders ready, which was also encouraging. We will be ordering from the comprehensive menu in the not too distant future.
