Tenía pescado pequeño, patatas fritas y guisantes. El pescado tenía tanto pescado como un par de dedos de pescado y estaba seco. Tenía mucho mejor que esto en otro lugar. Decepcionado después de leer las buenas críticas.

No tenía mucha hambre y me detuve por un pequeño pescado con patatas fritas para un cinco. En un plato, en una mesa con cubiertos de metal, justo el trabajo, bien merece una visita y excelente relación calidad-precio en el centro de Nottingham.

Absolutely love this spot, hidden gem in Nottingham city centre, just off of Market Square on St James Street so really is a prime location when you're in the city. Foods is great and the lunchtime deals are one of the most affordable in the city, you can feed two people with a drink for around £5 per person!

Staff are amazing, managed to cater for nearly 20 of us, food was fresh great quantity and quality! Lovely food !

Very quick service, lovely food and the staff were very friendly and my daughter even got a free dessert. I cannot stress enough how nice they are and we often come here when in town and the prices are amazing, it doesn't break the bank and are affordable for what you get.

It is my favourite place for 2 years. Excellent quality, amazing stuff 🙏 They don't lose their smiling on their faces. They are always kind and helpful. Also, foods are cheap and so delicious. I feel like home, when I get there :)

Honestly best chippy I’ve had in a long time! Fish and chips was quality, the chips were 10/10 really recommend! Had with a bunch of mates and we were all chuffed.

I honestly did not expect the fish and chips to be excellent. Boy was I wrong. This was easily the best fish and chips I've had since visiting Whitby a few years ago. I ordered a medium and it was huge. The fish was perfectly battered and with a great crunch. I had the brown beans sauce and it was the perfect amount. I'm not a fan of soggy chips and tend not to like sauce ON my chips. But these with the sauce and malted vinegar were just right. Only one complaint, and I have no idea how they can fix it. Once wrapped, by the time I made it to my hotel, which was literally at the top of the same street, the top layer of the fish was completely stuck to the paper. I wanted it all. LOL I will definitely be back and back though!

I keep returning for fish and chips, they are really good. Would only go here for my chippy fix. There is also seating outside.

The two lads working were incredible, generous portions cooked to perfection, and cheap as chips,keep up the good work x

From the outside it looks interesting, but once you enter,you understand that it is not authentic..the fish is tasteless, it is not crunchy, the fries are mushy, and unfriendly staff.....absolutely never again ....

The last time I visited this chippy down St James Street was pre pandemic, to be honest it wasn't that inviting, now that travel restrictions have been lifted my twin brother Stephen and I decided to visit Nottingham for six nights and we dropped by this chippy and what a transformation. New owner ,new regime ,the interior is so inviting, great decor and furnishings, cosy sums it up best, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this chippy both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling St James Street. We sat outside and ordered fish & chips, after a short wait our meals arrived and what a treat, fish was huge,lightly battered and beautifully seasoned, chips were absolutely delicious, as good a fish & chips meal I've had in a long time. We really enjoyed our meals in here and when we are back in Nottingham again we will most certainly revisit this chippy which is easy to locate down St James Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, Open from 11 30am. Sunday, Closed. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Before the new owners took over . The chip shop was awful. These guys have really turned it around from replacing everything, more inviting, great food, eat outside,prices are reasonable. This really is my local chippy and I’m so great full these guys took it over. Great chip shop.

Went today, our first time, it was lovely & on proper plates, with a knife & fork. 2 good size fish, chips one with mushy peas, & one with curry sauce. For £7 fantastic value. Definitely call again when visiting Nottm.

Amidst all the change that has happened in lockdown it was so nice to have lunch with normality.. cod, chips and peas with loads of salt and vinegar.. service with a smile and such a nice clean environment.. will definitely go back for more.. well done guys

We are regular customer for over a year now; always had a fresh food, great value good portions size and really good service 5 star food hygiene rating. please keep going.

I visited this place before the football at Notts County was looking forward to it sadly it wasn't a good experience the Minced Beef pie & the chips were awful and tasted like they had been there from the Friday the day before i should...

Hidden fish and chip shop. Beautiful fresh non greasy food. Served outside with proper plates and cutlery. A bargain too. 2 meals for just over 6 quid. A delight

Lush - fresh chips curry sauce and some seats outside. Cheap and cheerful with a 5 star food hygiene rating. What's not to like?

Went here for lunch with friends and really enjoyed sitting outside eating in the sunshine.. really nice friendly staff.. the food was of high quality and the prices were really good.. you can tell when you first walk in that standards are high and this...
