Cocos Bar & Kitchen in Lambeth

The place was busy when we arrived but we got a table. Tried several small plates and two desserts. All the food was really good, service was very friendly, albeit a little slow - but hey, we weren’t in a rush. Nice friendly vibe we will return 😀

6 of us went for a meal on Sunday and had a lovely time celebrating my birthday. Food and service were great. Waitress Miya was particularly attentive to our group. Will definitely go again.

My friends and I had the pleasure of visiting Cocos last night for dinner. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome and this didn’t stop all night. Everyone who worked there was very attentive and friendly. As for the food, wow amazing! Such sn extensive and varied menu it was difficult to decide what to have. My first experience of jerk chicken did not disappoint! Thank you to all at Cocos we are gutted we live so far away but hope to be back again one day to repeat the experience, it would certainly be worth the journey!

What a fab find! Cocos has a varied and interesting menu with great flavours and combinations. The Vegetarian menu is exciting and tasty and the Goat Curry absolutely delicious. The service was efficient, friendly and not pushy and the location conveniently close to Oval underground. Thank you Cocos - We’ll be back soon!

Just excellent … if you are at the cricket, just book & enjoy superb food with the nicest owner & staff you could meet. The food & drinks menus are varied. Enjoy

Myself and my partner have had a dinner in Cocos Bar and Kitchen only recently even though it was on our list to try for a long time. The food in this place is absolutely exceptional! Such amazing dishes, full of favour and quality products. We were blown away! We ordered grilled king prawns and pan fried scallops as our appetizers and a whole grilled seabream as our main. The seabream was the best fish dish I have ever had. Absolutely divine! Could not recommend highly enough.

Customer service from Naz and Maria was great ! Beautiful restaurant! Food was also quite nice. Customer service was okay and it took a little while for food and drinks to come. Would definitely recommend restaurant and would visit again.

I’m a big fan of prawns and I’ve had all flavours under the sun. But these prawns had the most unique and flavoursome sauce - flavours exploding in my mouth! My partner had the jerk chicken and has never looked so happy. Kirk (the chef) looked after us so well, I definitely would recommend

We both ordered the duck, which came a little rarer than expected. The server was so brilliant though that she took it back to the kitchen and it returned perfect - it was delicious! The chef came to speak to us and was very friendly. A brilliant local restaurant that we'll definitely go back to.

We had the most lovely dinner at Cocos. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly - the head chef even came out to chat to us and walk us out. I’d absolutely recommend Coco’s!

Food far better than the menu/location/appearance suggests - an unexpected delight! The portion sizes were generous, everything we had was tasty, the dishes other guests were having looked great and we’re hoping to return again. I would love this place to do well. I think maybe it just needs to think about it’s branding and appearance a bit more as it doesn’t seem obvious what it is and I’m not sure the interiors match the quality of the food - the food is more sophisticated than the restaurant appears. The tables outside aren’t really suitable for eating as they are more like for drinks but the front of the restaurant was open to the pavement with floor to ceiling bi-fold doors so even though we ate inside, there was lots of air circulating and the tables were nicely spaced out.

I have walked past this place on many occasions, but it hadn't drawn my attention. Popping in for a meal for two was a revelation. The food is both tasty and good value. The presentation is top notch. This is high quality in a low key setting. Deserves more attention than I suspect it is getting.

Excellent! What a lovely hidden gem. We went to Oval for a catch up with a friend and I found Cocos on the nearby recommended restaurants. So glad it turned out to be such a lovely place. The staff were extremely friendly and the food excellent. Highly recommend.

Well, congratulations to the owner. A lovely space with friendly helpful staff. Happy to help. The food well. Let me just say I tasted a mushroom soup- who knew I would love it I dont even eat mushrooms !!! But this was just amazing. We ordered so much food and couldn't manage it. Very healthy servings. The pancakes with scrambled eggs, mine had added a lil ackee as I don't eat pork -wonderful. Waffles with salmon yummy. Vegan burger and grilled chicken went down well. Overall I am definitely going back as the menu offers a great range of food and the standard is exceptional. Thank you Kirk. SOL family

This place is new in kennington but we always try the new places, good menu and reasonably priced. The only gripe I have is we had to wait a long time for our main course and the restaurant wasn't busy. However the food was fantastic...
