I had been meaning to try the food at this cafe because a friend told me it was really good. The food was Amazing! I had jerk chicken which was beautifully spiced and tasty, but not too much intense chilli heat. The price was very reasonable and it was a generous sized portion. Food can also be bought as a takeaway and I will definitely be back to try some more dishes out. The staff were friendly and the cafe is welcoming. I would highly recommend this place and I will be telling all my friends to visit. Top marks!

This is my husband and I's favourite cafe in town and we regularly visit with my parents and my three year old. We love it so much that we asked them to do a wedding buffet for us for friends and family, who loved the food! The authentic Carribbean food is amazing and you couldn't wish for friendlier service. Coconut Grove is a hidden gem!

Went 1st time last month after a recommendation. We are now booking them for our wedding catering! Best in town at a great price and that's not an exaggeration!

My very first time here after popping into the bike store on the corner. Food is out of this world flavoursome (curry veg, rice & peas, salad) delicious! And hot sauce with hot home made pickle..so good👍 A really great cook & chief lady plus her service was so lovely. 💯 recommend!

Great food and excellent service

Have had a contract staying in Northampton for 5 weeks, discovered this brilliant place by chance. The jerk chicken is the best I’ve tasted, been there at least once a week and taking home take aways for my family at weekend. Whole experience is fantastic.

I took my Grandmother the Coconut Grove for her birthday lunch and she really enjoyed it. Food is 1st class 👌🏾🔥🇯🇲

Hands down the most friendly & delicious place to order & eat in Northampton the lady there made me feel like family! Even when I informed her I was leaving the area she gave me an extra portioned plate at no extra cost! Defo will be going back there if ever I visit Northampton again

The best Jamaican food in town, your taste buds will love you. Bought loads of their Ackee and saltfish, dumplings, patties and fried plantains. Well worth the money 😏

The cafe is well furnished and the staff are kind and friendly. The food is very good, and the portions are generous for the price. It is not hard to find the cafe, due to the sign outside and being on a shopping arcade on a main road, but it is rarely busy. I would recommend this place for everyone, especially the Jerk Chicken and the Patties.

Believe the hype! Coming from Jamaican and Antiguan heritage I've always been disappointed when trying to find restaurants delivering truly authentic Carribean food (Turtle Bay is clearly a joke and an embarrassment to West Indian cooking). I'd all but given up, until last night when I finally visited this hidden gem down an alley off Gold St! We started by sharing homemade patties (beef and lamb) which were both excellent. My guests then chose Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and Stewed Chicken with Plain Rice with a trio of of fluffy, Fried Dumplings, I however decided to conduct the ultimate test of Carribean Food skill and risk trying their Curry Goat... Needless to say, both chicken dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavour, spice and seasoning, enhanced if wished with an avaliable bottle of homemade pepper sauce which in terms of heat is not for the fainthearted. The Curry Goat was truly spectacular, and flawless in every way, with one or two bones for authenticity and flavour. I nearly passed out in ecstasy it was so unexpectedely satisfying, this was the tender, moist Curry Goat I'd been searching for. The portions here are enormous and intimidating, so make sure you go hungry. In terms of cost, this has to be one the best value dining experiences in Northamptonshire with most mains no more than £7.00 it's not licenced but soft drinks are available at very low cost. I'll certainly be back for more, Esovitch Fish, Ackee & Saltfish among other things await... I thoroughly recommend you give this lovely Carribean Cafe a try, they absolutely deserve it. 10/10

Went here this afternoon - really great food and we really enjoyed it. Service was friendly and prices were very good. We had goat curry, jerk chicken and dumplings. Everything very nice. Go!

This place is such a hidden gem . Me and my family had 3 mains and 4 sides for 22 pounds which is amazing value . The food itself was the best we have ever had and we have decided to make it a monthly visit

Found this place by accident. It would appear to be quite well known among the West Indian community but not many others. In short it may not look much but the food is all prepared and cooked on the premises. The portions are quite large and it is very genuinly West Indian. Added to which it is very reasonable priced. They do advertise an English Breakfast, but why not try some real Caribbean food. It's very good. Although not really relavant to the listing I have nothing to do with the people who run is and am in my sixties and white. Oh! They close quite early, 6 is the latest on a Saturday.

Everything orthentic and cooked on the premises. Cosy and out of the way. Good food and great value. Try it. But remember they don't do evenings.
