Absolutely superb in every way. 4 of us had different choices of tea/hot chocolate/mocha. All fabulous 👏👏 Very friendly and knowledgeable owner with the personal touch. Will return a few times during our holiday week!

Very welcome and excellent hot chocolate on a cold day. Dog friendly which was nice as many of the shops in pateley bridge are not. The quality and range of chocolate is superb. Second to none and is a must place to visit.

You can choose from lots of different flavours - white, dark, milk, caramel, fruit - and ‘try before you buy’ with a taster of the chocolate. I had the Belgian Blonde white hot chocolate - best I’ve ever tasted! So good we went back for a another the next day, and bought some chocolate buttons to make our own at home. Came across this fantastic little Hot Chocolate shop on a Bank Holiday weekend visit to Pateley Bridge. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable - offering a couple of samples, so we could try before we buy! Still spoilt for choice and flavours - opted for a mid milk Venezuela chocolate - absolutely delicious 😋 in fact we were so impressed we visited the next day and bought another flavour before setting off on a dog walk down by the river, and before our weekend was over, made one last visit and bought a selection box to take home and try - can’t wait to get home, relax and indulge in another of the smooth luxurious decadent chocolate drinks! 😊 well worth a visit! Or two! Or more! 😃

One of, if not THE BEST hot chocolate I have ever had! I chose the ‘Golden Amber’ chocolate to be melted into my hot drink, highly recommend. Really friendly staff, they let you ‘try before you buy’ with the chocolate before you choose which one to go into your drink. Will definitely be returning to the village especially for another drink from Cocoa Joe’s. My partner had a Golden Amber Mocha Coffee & has said “mmm” after every single sip haha

The best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. I went for dark Ugandan and my partner went for a special board milk with honeycomb. Would return tomorrow if I could. Will return for sure. Service was second to none. Informative regarding the origins and tastes. Can’t recommend enough

We must have been about 10 times now and it's still the most highly prized hot chocolate treat. Last time I had lavender added and it was divine. It is not going to disappoint and you can bring home a bag of your favourite chocolate to have on the way home. Literally what's not to love!

This was my 1st visit to Cocoa Joe’s, and it was an absolute delight. I hadn’t realised that Hot Chocolate could be so sumptuous. In particular, the taste was long and lingering, like a very decent wine. Our two hosts, Isobel and Sophie, were perfect too. Friendly and attentive, but not at all pushy. Perfect😀

Travelled here numerous times specifically for the hot chocolate. The chocolate is expensive but it's amazing. It's the best hot chocolate in the world. Today we tried the ice mocha which was also amazing. I'd recommend anyone in Pateley to have a treat. The chart outside seems quite accurate on choosing your chocolate. Then we often get a pack of buttons to take home. It is a must visit for me. It reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate factory and the chocolate that Willy Wonka describes. They use vegware too.

Cocoa Joes in Patley Bridge is an absolute gem! This charming chocolate cafe is one of the best places to have a chocolatey treat in town. The chocolate hot drinks were heavenly, with rich and luxurious flavors that left us wanting more. We even tried the cold chocolate drink, which was an adventurous and refreshing twist on classic hot cocoa. Overall, the experience was so delightful that we can say without hesitation that we loved it. We were so impressed that we even returned for a takeaway the second time, even though we had a gift card for the first set of drinks. If you're a fan of chocolate, you must visit Cocoa Joes!

Found this cafe by accident passing through in the car. Decided to give it and a go and so glad we did. It’s mainly a hot chocolate cafe but the service is 2nd to none. We were allowed to taste as many chocolates beforehand as we wanted and each one was described to us. The drink is then made from the chosen chocolates which was absolutely delicious. Would definitely return if in the area.

Lovely quaint shop on the High Street, two small areas to sit. Service was fantastic, not a wide range of products on offer other than the hot chocolate, we ordered a dark Peru and a milk hot chocolate, we were offered samples first. Just brilliant from the moment I walked in the door. The staff are friendly and passionate about good chocolate. They helped me choose a chocolate for my drink and I also picked up a couple of bags of chocolate buttons.
