Close to the British Museum this is an oasis outwith of the hustle and bustle of the museum. Nice ambience, lovely coffee and cakes. A great place to meet friends and chat.

A good choice of tea. Good location. Easy to find - due to floral arrangement at the front door. Moderate prices. Not particulary friendly.

I had caramel milk tea from the soho location last week and that was fine. Today I tried the taro one, one of my fav bubble tea favours and which is fantastic from happy lemon, and it tasted like watery milk with a hint of taro. Very dissapointing. Literally the worse bubble tea I had. I actually think they might have forgotten to add the tea...

I came here because I was visiting the British Museum with my 10 year old nephew and it was a treat for him. He had tried Coco on a recent visit to Toronto and was excited to find out there was a store in London, and right opposite the museum we were visiting. We entered the shop and it was busy inside but I counted only 11 people in front of me in the queue so I was prepared to wait as I didn’t think the queue was that massive. Half an hour later, we were still waiting and only got halfway down the queue. I asked my nephew if he still wanted to wait and he said yes as otherwise we would have wasted our time already so we stuck it out in the queue. By the time I got to the cashier we had been waiting 55 minutes! I couldn’t believe it had taken That long to be served, if I’d known from the beginning I wouldn’t have started queuing in the first place and if it wasn’t for my nephew, I would have left ages ago. It would take less time to be served hot food in a restaurant. I’m not usually one for complaining but I could not help from expressing my disbelief and disappointment to the staff member. All she could say was “sorry, it’s busy”. I could see for myself they were busy and they were also preparing orders for delivery customers, but still, 55 minutes to wait to be served is ridiculous in my opinion and I won’t be going back there. The tea itself was fine, no complaint about that, and I’m just glad my nephew enjoyed the tea.

Do not go there. Unless you want a rude staff member to put her finger in your drink. I got a hot milk tea with pearl. Got my drink after a long wait on a Sunday afternoon. Drank a few sips and scooped around with my straw - found no pearl in my drink. So I informed the staff nicely. One of them decided to PIERCE THE FILM WITH HER FINGER, DIPPING IT INTO THE DRINK, and scooped around with the straw to search for the balls. She looked at my smugly "drink now" - turns out the pearls clumped together at the bottom. I was in a rush so didn't really make a fuss about her dipping her finger in my drink and giving it back to me. SINCE SHE PIERCED THE PLASTIC FILM, I decided to ask the guy making the drinks to put another one on. I asked him nicely. He starred at me like I'm an idiot and said "no" in mandarin, rudely. Let's talk about the tea- STRONG taste of milk powder. Not worth the 4.40 quid. Honestly mate, there are better ways to spend your money.

Another bubble tea shop, sadly not that great. It was too sweet given that I asked for 50% sugar already. The taste was like dish water. With so many to choose from, sadly I will not be returning. Disappointed. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink.

Authentic! Located near the China Town, not far away from the underground station. Compared with Happy Lemon which is located nearby, Coco provides with better taste and better shopping experience. Only waiting in queue for several minutes. Alipay is available, pretty convenient!

dear coco management, please tell us why you supply plastic straws enclosed in plastic wrapping? You proudly state you are the worlds largest bubble tea chain so please do the right thing and stop with all the plastic. One hour wait in a queue at the Picadilly circus branch plus the plastic wrapping of straws means no matter how good this was I won’t go there again - plenty of other really good bubble tea places directly across the street.

This bubble tea shop is great. The ingredients are fresh and good quality and I really enjoy snatching up a bubble gaga or a taro milk tea on my way to the other shops in Brent Cross shopping centre. The only problem I have with Coco is that they still use plastic straws. I think they could really benefit from being more eco friendly as they could attract a bigger market. Yummy boba tho!

Tried this outlet opposite British Museum. The Chinese lady staff at the till was extremely impatient, rude and didn’t pay attention to what I was saying. Maybe she was having a bad or busy day. If you can’t smile don’t work in a shop. For a shop selling sugary drinks it’s quite surprising to encounter this kind of attitude. Management should pay attention who they hire for such customer facing roles. Try at your own risk. Be prepared to wait ages to order and get your drink. Better move on and head straight for Chinatown.

For the past three times that I have been here, the service has been incredibly slow and there was one time when I had to wait a whole hour for the bubble tea whilst the staff kept talking and chatting to each other when it was clear that they had a lot of orders waiting in addition to deliveroo orders that I saw. It is extremely rude and below the standard of a good bubble tea shop to treat their customers like this and even though the bubble tea is good, with the increasing competition of other good bubble tea places, I am pretty sure this is a deciding factor for not coming to CoCo anymore. Furthermore, their app, incidently after my friend reached her free cup of Coco, the app died and disabled itself - the app itself was bad already (as it could not track how many cups you have had - the only function is scanning). Therefore the whole logistics and attitude of Coco really disappoints, I would recommend some other bubble tea shops for you to try such as YiFang, Happy Lemon or even Chatime.

It was the best Boba in London. I love their lemon yakult and 2 ladies which has puddings in boba. Although it was a long queue but it won’t take that long. Worth the queue.

I love drinking bubble tea, especially in summer. COCO's bubble tea is not so sweet, the bubble is chewy.

Excellent, subtle ramen very conveniently located for those awaiting a train at St Pancras. I was less impressed by the boa the restaurant is named for: enjoyable but not really worth the price. 5* secured by a superb, in-house dark beer that suited the beef perfectly.

We came across this Korean restaurant in the Holborn area just as our stomachs started growling after a full day of sightseeing. Accessed by a staircase at street level, the restaurant occupied the basement of the building above. Our initial impressions were good, helped no doubt by the slightly dim lighting which offered a touch of anticipation. Alas, the food did not quite meet up with our lofty expectations. Don't get me wrong - it was quite tasty, and Korean food is usually deceptively filling. Between the four of us, we had several stews, and hot plates of chicken and beef, all of which came with an accompaniment of unpolished rice (a nice healthier touch). Although reasonably satisfying, the food wasn't going too much to write home about. Service was average at best, and prices were a little on the high side for the size of the portions, but then, restaurant prices in London are on the high side in general.

The food was nice but nothing more. We didn't feel full up anc went over to macdonalds and had a quick burger. Portions small for price and lacked flavour. China town or bang bangs better tastier food in my opinion. Service was good although we did have to ask twice for a couple of things.

I used to come to this place a very long time ago when I lived in London. It seems almost as popular as it ever was. I’m not surprised as as Hare & Tortoise offers good value and consistent quality. It’s wonderful to know that after all these years I can still get a curry laksa or Singapore rice noodles dish just as delicious as I remember.
