Coco Di Mama in City of London, Westminster

Oh Dear Oh Dear. you've gone down the automated route al la Leon etc. I went into the Margaret Street store this morning for a crispy bacon baguette. The 1st thing which struck me was that the shop looked closed! No activity except for three young people laughing and joking in a huddle sitting on the benches close to the counter. I stood at the counter for a few moments waiting to give my order and was again struck by the lack of activity. After a while one of the kids in the huddle pointed to the far wall and said "you order here". With a sunken heart I saw the 6 or so automated order screens. My experience of these things is a) its not a human and b) they rarely work. I had also recently gone into Leon on the Strand who have installed something similar and the whole soul of the experience had been ripped out. With heavy heart I approached the 1st screen and, as instructed, tapped to start. I tapped again. And again. and a few more times. I then moved on to another screen and another and another. No joy. none of them would load when I tapped. When I turned around for assistance the kids just carried on laughing and joking . So I went to Greggs on Great Titchfield Street, which is cheaper at any rate!

I can’t say enough about this place. I placed an order through Uber eats from NY which never was delivered to my daughter who is in Oxford. I called the owner and she was so kind to remake the food order and keep her restaurant open so that my daughter could go and pick it up. My daughter who is raised in New York City has a very sophisticated palate and couldn’t say enough about how amazing the quality of the food was. She LOVED IT. They truly went above and beyond. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

Buen hallazgo La pasta estaba poco hecha y un poco dura. Grandes porciones y su desayuno es un gran éxito con la oficina.

Recientemente apareció para almorzar y ordenó la opción grande. Cuando recibí el pedido en mi escritorio, ¡el contenedor estaba medio lleno! ! Apenas había salsa o carne y la pasta estaba dura como si no estuviera cocinada. Terminé tirando la pasta a la basura y preparándome algo más para el almuerzo. ¡No regresaría cuando hay tantas opciones en la oficina!

Vi a Coco di Mama hace un par de semanas en mi paseo regular a Argyll Street y pensé que lo intentaría. Me alegro de haberlo hecho! Extremadamente acogedor, saludado con una sonrisa. El espresso es excelente y su tazón de desayuno de salmón Superstart es la manera perfecta de comenzar el día. Muy recomendable.

Friendly environment, great food for the value of the price and a perfect place to have a quick lunch break. I will come back.

Fast food pasta in takeaway pots - perfect for a quick lunch. Great variety of vegetarian sauces. Very good coffee too.

This is a great little pasta place just off Regent Street. Had a delicious garden pea pesto pasta dish - made in double quick time, hot and tasty. Just the right size portion for lunch and reasonably priced. Good free wifi and service e with a smile!

I usually get a cortado from here. I like this place as it has good quality coffee but it's not outrageously expensive. There's not much seating if you want to sit in.

I’m always grabbing my latte on the run and I’m always received with a smile. Their latte is delicious too!

Popped into Coco di Mama on my lunch break whilst running around. The service was pretty slow. 4 people who were behind me in the queue got there food first. Which was a little frustrating. Food was ok but nothing special. I don't think I will heading back in a hurry. Shame as has potential.

If you are craving good fresh quality pasta, go here. It is of a high restaurant standard; cooked perfectly, piping hot, fresh and always is of the same quality - never dry or hard. I would recommend the chicken pesto pasta. I have only had it as a take away. Best pasta in Oxford Circus!

The coffee / restaurant is located just 2 minutes from the oxford circus, and that is just perfect as you don't need to squeeze through the crowd or queuing for 20 minutes for a take away coffee . The service was excellent and the atmosphere will let you enjoy a proper coffee or lunch break. Well done Coco di Mama team, I'll come to see your other stores too. Miki
