Came in for lunch with my daughter and mum in law, food was amazing. Staff really friendly would definately recommend 100%. ☺️

Food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and tidy, the service was a bit slow but this was probably down to how busy it was, but overall we had a lovely family meal and a very nice time.

Really nice place, we had a great time sitting in the garden. Drinks took a long while to be brought to the table but they were all nice and the food was great. Very reasonably priced.

The whole staff was lovely and friendly, desserts was well presented. I would recommend it to anyone for a good food

Lovely mac and cheese, workers are kind and get involved in the activities. Bingo and quizes happen so good laugh and drinks always taste nice so taps are cleaned regularly. Would reccomend coming here. Harry and Chloe arw standout workers who is always going above and beyond to make customers feel happy.

We visited The Cock Inn after getting a voucher through our door. Service was fast and efficient, food was hot and delicious. Ordered via the website to our table, drinks were with us so fast after ordering. No complaints.

A nice pub with friendly staff.

Not a massive issue just personal choice. I like to have the option of chips or mash with my steak and ale pie. The pie wasn't as good as some of the other companies. But it was hot and tasty. Wasn't bursting with chunks of steak. But still good value and if your not picky then this is a great meal. Staff was fantastic and very polite and quick service.

Go here alot as my local pub. Popped in today for pint with my son and idiotic barman tries to cause trouble accusing me of putting dust on the carpet. Upon realising he's totally wrong and obnoxious he doesn't apologise but just arrogantly responds negatively to his mistake. This guy would be fired on the spot in my company or anywhere else. Terrible representation of this establishment. What made it worse was the barmaid tried to defend him. Terrible customer service

Came for the Paddy McGuinness quiz night- great atmosphere! Even though the team were busy they were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Ordered via the QR code which was quick and easy to navigate! Drinks arrived within a couple minutes!

This is one of my local pubs. Love the food and atmosphere but the staff are terrible. Went in there after work today and rude Ginger barman with glasses accuses me of putting dust on carpet. When he realises he's totally wrong he just gets defensive and looks stupid and wouldn't apologise. Any staff like that in my company would be fired on the spot. Barmaid tries to defend him but her loyalty is very misplaced.

Had lunch with friends, decided to have the rump steak, the steak was on the small side plus the steak ,half grilled tomato, peas, mushrooms and onion rings were all luke warm apart from the chips. On this experience I won't be rushing back.

It was fairly busy when we arrived, 1.30pm, a good sign, it means that it is popular with locals and not just catering for people on meal breaks. We had booked a table, the barman showed us to the table and explained that we could order using the QR Code on the table or at the bar, but having spent time registering so that I could use the QR Code, the 1st drink I tried to order, Bitter Lemon, whilst in stock, was not on the menu that I had accessed through the QR Code, so we had to order everything at the bar anyway, so for someone like me who is a Tech Dinosaur, that was a bit frustrating, but just a minor inconvenience that would not go on to spoil my lunch. We ordered from the Pub Classics section, we had to wait a while for it to be cooked, but for someone like me that is a good sign, it means the kitchen is busy and my meal is being cooked to order, not just being taken out of a hot cabinet full of pre-cooked food, it also gave us time to get comfortable and into full flow conversation. I ordered the Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas, it was a very good sized piece of Fish with a Crispy Batter, served on what I can only describe as the Best Chips that I have eaten in the last few years at least, unfortunately the Mushy Peas were not so good, a good flavour but dried out and as someone who could quite happily eat a bowl of Mushy Peas as a main course, they were a bit disappointing. My Guest opted for the Scampi, again with the marvellous Chips and Garden Peas, they were more than happy with the amount and quality of Scampi they received, commenting that they were the best they had eaten in a long time, they loved the Chips and the Garden Peas. I felt that the pricing was very good considering the quality of food, drink and service that we had received, and I also received a bonus of 30% off Main Course Meals on my 1st visit, when signing up to Marston's email notifications, a bargain.

As we frequently pop up from Bedfordshire to Norwich to see relatives, this has always been a great pub for us to visit. Always very welcoming with good service.

The food was really good and really tasty, well worth the money. The service was polite and approachable. I think the QR code ordering was great and works well apart from the WiFi was really poor and it took ages to load.

First time coming here and will definitely be returning another day. Good value and great quality food. Burger was really really delicious, simple and does the trick! Some good deals to try in the future specifically the Steak and drink night!

The pub was clean & well kept, staff were polite & on hand if needed. The food did not take too long to arrive, for the price of the meals that we chose the portion size was very small compared to other establishments we have visited. The pub has an outdoor play area which is great for children but the evening we were there there was a family with badly behaved children that were running around the pub going in & out of all the doors making us & the people around us uncomfortable & cold & an older couple had to move tables because they were that annoyed with what was going on & the lady had to sit there with her coat on because it was that cold.

Was lovely the food was delicious and the evening was just a lovely atmosphere for us as a group to enjoy ourselves x

We had booked our table in Delias Den where we were able to relax with our dogs. For some reason I was not able to find my 30% off voucher on my phone. However, Joanne very kindly honoured it, which was much appreciated and our “ultimate spicy burgers” (best in town😋) were, as always, very much enjoyed.

Really busy Saturday evening. Staff coped well. Food was good, expectations met. Only thing that lets the Cock down is the decor could do with updating, tables and chairs are a bit worn.

The Cock is our local restaurant of choice....we usually go for tea once a week. It's usually quick and helpful service and the food is always tasty and hot. Staff are always very pleasant and attentive without being 'over the top'. I am on the mailing list so we always take full advantage of any offers that are running.

The cock inn Drayton is a pub I use regularly for my Sunday dinner and I have also attended a lot of functions there and I must say Chloe is a very good host as are the other staff Well done Chloe and the rest of the cock pub staff !!

The place itself is nice, staff friendly, food is very nice. Your website however, is awful. Signed up and the email discount never came, not in the spam box either. The order process online was tedious. Kept going back to the first page where you have to keep clicking the order now button. Very off putting. And you can't seem to order the drink offers on there when you have ordered food. The website needs an overhaul.. compared to other websites and ease of use.. its terrible. Other than that it was a decent place to eat.

Steak was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful my wife said, my mixed grill was also really good. we love the healthier option allowing us to have salad instead of chips which while we are on a KETO diet to still go out for meals occasionally. Food came in a good time and the staff behind the counter and waiting staff were friendly and professional.

I chose to have a late lunch at this venue since there were only about 16 people in the restaurant area. Given my work commitments, I felt confident that I could enjoy a pub lunch and still make it to my local destination with time to spare. However, I was disappointed when it took about twenty-five minutes to receive my traditional pub lunch of chips, peas, and steak pie. Despite the delay, I genuinely enjoyed my meal, and without the wait, I would have given a five-star review.

Great night out and good value and good quality food and drinks

We are staying in the area for a few weeks with my parents. A couple of weeks ago we went out looking for a place for a drink and lunch. We first arrived at the pub across the rd as it was the first one we came to. The atmosphere, menu and drinks were terrible. We left and walked across the rd to the Cock pub. We were immediately greeted, everyone was warm and friendly and we knew it was already so much better. We found a table, it was warm, the menu looked yummy (and the food we had was), the drinks selection is great and everyone of the staff that helped us then and on our visit yesterday has been brilliant. They all have amazing customer care and you see it with all other customers they help. I am a Customer Service Manager in London and would hire any of them for my team. Please let them know just how amazing they are and we will be going back tomorrow and whenever we visit in the future.

We've been here maybe 5-10 times to eat for various reasons and party sizes and have only had great experiences. They are well priced, friendly staff, nice pub food and a nice place to be. I usually don’t mind the cock in however my last two experiences haven’t been great. First one I went with my friends and got our orders wrong and got funny when we mentioned it and seemed reluctant to deal with it. Second time and most recent, me and my partner., could not use order at table as there was no option for removing items from the meal, so went to the till and ordered, got a starter which was macaroni cheese and paid £7 extra for chicken strips on top, got the food and it had 1 chicken strip! We also got hunters chicken with cheesy chip which we paid extra for, and the cowboy burger with upgraded loaded fries. The chicken had a very small amount of bbq sauce, and little to no cheese in the chips. When asked for extra sauce, was like slung on table. On the menu you can upgrade your normal chips to loaded for around £2 however got the receipt and said an extra £9 and when questioned was told they don’t have a button on their till for that so charged us a meal of loaded fries without telling us , Quality of burger was not great and bun was very hard.

Went to the cock inn today for a wake after a family funeral on arrival bar staff were friendly and welcoming to make our way too the area for us the buffet food was very good excellent and varied fillings in the sandwiches the sausage rolls were to die for !! I would go back again and try some of there meals of there menu the place was very busy but the staff did not seemed in a rush nothing was to much trouble and my uncle said the guinness was very good

Great staff, very accommodating to our Dairy Free granddaughter, wonderful food, arrived within the expected time, it is our "Go To" place whenever the mood takes us.

Had a lovely meal at the cock again never fail to impress us. It was my granddaughter birthday meal we all had a wonderful evening thank you.
