The staff are always friendly and really helpful. The food was great and very reasonable with their promotional offer. We had a lovely evening as always playing Rock n Roll bingo. Great place to catch up with friends.

Great staff, very accommodating to our Dairy Free granddaughter, wonderful food, arrived within the expected time, it is our "Go To" place whenever the mood takes us.

Went to the cock inn today for a wake after a family funeral on arrival bar staff were friendly and welcoming to make our way too the area for us the buffet food was very good excellent and varied fillings in the sandwiches the sausage rolls were to die for !! I would go back again and try some of there meals of there menu the place was very busy but the staff did not seemed in a rush nothing was to much trouble and my uncle said the guinness was very good

Had a lovely meal at the cock again never fail to impress us. It was my granddaughter birthday meal we all had a wonderful evening thank you.

Very good quality food brought out in good time. Very helpful staff and good range on the NGCI menu. Only thing that may make it even better is having a vegan cheese option for those with Dairy intolerance. Specifically cheese slices for the burgers and melty cheese on Nachos (Available in most supermarkets so wouldn’t imagine being unreasonable).

We’ve never been to the cock inn before and we had been bought tickets for New Year’s Eve, wheelchair accessible, friendly staff, great atmosphere and they checked in on us often and helped with my food allergies, the manager went above and beyond

Live locally. Often visit with friends for lunch. Booking online is easy. Good communication. Good service. Special deals are welcome. Always leave a tip as staff are attentive.

Decided to go out for boxing day lunch easy to book, arrived table was ready staff all very polite love that it was table service and not having to wait at the bar, food came out and was lovely .

A very tasty meal for 10 of us pre our family Thursford day. Food was exceptionally well presented and delicious. We always supple the Cock Inn with our food choices prior to our visit and have done this for years. They very rarely get anything wrong. It’s a lovely place to meet up with our family prior to going to Thursford.

We booked this late and didn't expect anything to extravagant for the prices charged but after eating there did not think the food was worth what we paid, my prawn cocktail was very small and tasteless, I orded a burger and the pate were half the size of the bun however were quite tasty, I ordered a sunday and it was served with a long sunday spoon which was a joke as the glass it was in was tiny and a normal teaspoon could easily reach the bottom. Take my advice if you want a cheap meal go to Mcdonalds or the Whifler.

Very Friendly staff. Excellent food and service. Portions are generous and food is cooked and presented well. Good value for money, especially when one of their 30% offers is on. By far my favorite place to eat.

Nice place to eat. We had the festive meal but were disappointed with the starter. However, the rest of the food was very nice.

We popped in for lunch. Nice choice of menu. We both opted for a baguette, one chicken, one steak. We waited a while considering it wasn't busy. On arrival the food was presented ok. The food was edible, the chicken thigh was viscid and not particularly pleasant on the palette. The steak was cooked well but was not generous with too much nacho sauce which ruined it. Wouldn't recommend this particular lunch but maybe would visit again choosing an alternative meal.

Mega mixed grill was very nice, cooked perfectly, despite it being fairly busy I didn't have to wait very long for my food, I will be dining here again

We were very disappointed my husband’s food was lovely and hot, I had roast chicken, the chicken was lovely but the vegetables were just warm peas cold very cold the one stuffing ball was so hard as when I cut into it went cross the room, the cauliflower cheese was all runny not nice at all, the lady did come and ask if everything was ok but she only asked my husband and hurried off without asking me so will we go back 100pc no

Amazing food, amazing service, happy daughter who was playing outside and colouring at the table. I do wish I got a roast after I saw my partners. However my burger was 10/10. Deffo coming back.

Food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and tidy, the service was a bit slow but this was probably down to how busy it was, but overall we had a lovely family meal and a very nice time.

We enjoyed a lovely meal on Friday. My daughter suffers with a severe peanut and nut allergy and eating out is a stressful time for us. However the online allergy menu made the choices easier for us to navigate. Her food was brought out separately and it was evident the chefs had taken great care to ensure she could enjoy a safe meal. It makes all the difference to us and we all enjoyed a really tasty meal . It was really busy but we were pre warned about the slight delay and it didn’t matter as the food was worth waiting for. Would recommend. And especially recommend to all those who have to navigate a food allergy.

A really fabulous pub with some great food, especially the Salt & Chilli Chicken Kebab with Hot Maple flavour sauce and fries, and really lovely staff. It made my long-awaited return visit to Norwich really enjoyable and memorable.

Went for lunch with family there was 8 of us hadn't booked a table as didn't expect it to be busy on a Tuesday lunchtime it was very busy but wasn't a problem food is lovely and reasonably priced I work in a pub and know how hard work it can be especially when it's busy but the staff were friendly even though you could see how busy they were definitely will be returning and 100 % recommend

Lovely friendly staff helped me place my order with my voucher and service was very quick, food arrived hot and amendments to order were fulfilled regarding gluten intolerance. Nice atmosphere, music not too loud and lots of options for seating. Great experience definitely go again, lovely staff and tasty food.

Great place to eat or drink with your dogs. Separate dog section with tv's. There some high tables and chairs in there which aren't suitable for dog owners. Pub style food but very nice.

I have been here many times. On this occasion, I had the Wednesday evening special. I had a chicken tikka masala and a rocky road sundae, and a Pepsi Max.

Came again tonight for my wife's birthday great food and service and took advantage of the 20% savings again we'll be back thanks team 👍 Really nice experience tonight we had cowboy burger and BBQ Chicken burger and Surf n Turf all very tasty a nice young waitress obviously a trainee but she ws polite and did her job well so hats off to management training, Pub atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the drinks went down well we'll be back again

The team were very helpful. They had advised us the meal may take a while to come out, but was quicker than they said. My dad has just recovered from throat cancer so we needed extra water and gravy on the table and the team were so helpful. It was a lovely evening, I didn’t get the names but one of the waiters a tall slim guy was super helpful and the guy who served us on the bar too. Thanks

Cock Inn is located at 1 Drayton High Rd, Drayton, Norwich NR8 6AE. The food quality is below standard, particularly the "Flat white" which is the worst that I ever have in the past 10 years time. It is too milky no taste of coffee, have reflected it but the re-do one is still very poor. However, the customer service is very good. Don't expect too much for food and drink here. Have several parking bays. Nice location. Sorry to write this here but just want to say the truth.

Bar service was super quick. A long wait for food, 35 minutes and they weren't at full capacity. Food is basic but tasty.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of wait for the main meal, however when it came it was hot and tasty. Did look at the app to order but as some adjustments to the main meal we went to the bar to order

Fabulous service, lovely meals, fantastic portion sizes and great value for money, nice clean restaurant, with friendly helpful staff. One of our party found something untoward in her battered fish, after mentioning to staff it was swiftly dealt with and compensated for. Couldn't fault anything, a lovely time was had by all 6 of us. I came over from Wolverhampton to Drayton to visit my mum I reviewed the pub on trip advisor before arriving and saw good reviews. I must say that they were right and we had a lovely meal It was really busy when we arrived but we were found a table and served quickly and efficiently. Gammon I chose was lovely and my mum enjoyed her tuna mayo potato. On paying I was served by Chloe and I explained that I wanted to use my meerkat app discount but found that as I had already opened the qr code twice it wouldn’t allow me to do it again.i did prove that I had valid membership and I was really grateful that she allowed me discount My mum will be recommending that her friends visit and I certainly will again on my next trip from the midlands

We live locally and haven’t visited for several years after a disastrous Fathers Day meal. However we were invited to meet friends there and thought we’d give it a go. Really glad we did as we had a marvellous meal with no complaints whatsoever. Great value for money too. Staff were all lovely and smiley and professional. Feeling very lucky to have you nearby. We booked online a few hours before arrival, and once we got there we were pointed to our table fairly quickly. It's a pub where you have a table number and then order at a bar, which to be fair with the kids works fairly well. With food ordered it didn't take overly long to come out - we were all fairly hungry and it was demolished quickly...! The food was hood and reasonably priced - the atmosphere was good and ideal for kids. We would not hesitate using this pub again!

We had steak - medium rare - perhaps very slightly underdone but no problem. Both steaks were tasty and almost melt in the mouth. The service was friendly and the wait for our meal good as we understood it was being cooked from fresh. The only downside was we were sat next to the toilet door. This would not have been a problem if it did not close with a very loud bang every time it was used! Slight niggles which reduced the rating by one star. Last time we visited, several years ago, we complained about the dust and dirt this time it was spotlessly clean.

Went to the Cock in this weekend with family. The welcome was friendly from a young man on arrival and took us to our table. The food came out and everything was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. Everyone was very happy and we had a lovely evening out as always.

Came in during the week was served by a young man called Sean and he was spot on with everything drinks food allergies etc. Food was good they brought the kids food first which makes a difference well recommended will definitely be going back again

I came in for a meal yesterday the staff are apsulutely amazing very friendly don't think there was one member of staff without a smile on their faces, Food was fantastic big shout out to the chef brilliant atmosphere very clean and tidy would definitely recommend and definitely come back at some point well done guys.

Well it was awful! We queued at the bar for a rather long time as only 1 staff serving at bar while others stood around. Once we got our drinks we went outside then sorted what food we wanted. Couldn’t do it on the app so we went inside to order to then be told they can only do chips unless we booked a table previously?!? If this was the case they should have said this before we even ordered our 1st drinks! So we said that’s fine we’ll just order other food. Ordered a pizza from another place and we sat outside and ate it. We then got asked not to eat it as it’s not from the pub. So we closed the boxes to eat later. Then went to order another drink and got told they wouldn’t serve us as said we had to leave? Extremely confusing as we did as instructed!!! Wish I’d just ate the pizza! However being a previous bar manager u would instruct all members of the public that you were no longer doing food if you couldn’t cope with the orders. Either way wouldn’t recommend, bad attitude bad service
