Cobham Fish Bar in Mole Valley

I am a conneisseur of fish and chips as I was brought up in Yorkshire ( God's own country). The fish in particular is truly excellent every time .Generous portions of white chunky fish , cooked to perfection . I challenge you to find better anywhere outside Yorkshire. So come on you soft Southerners , give it a try !

Discovered this gem by chance and it's been worth the drive every time! The fish and chips are consistently delicious, with generous portions that never disappoint. Their tartar sauce is also a standout. Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant - generally not a greater lover of fish and chips, but these are fabulous. Massive portion and really well cooked. Lovely staff as well.

The Cobham Fish Bar is actually in Stoke D"Abernon and located right by the train station. They served the best take away fish and chips we have experienced for some time. The Fish was moist and the chips not greasy .Nicely presented. The service was efficient but impersonal .

Located right next to the railway station. it serves Very nice fish and chips freshly cooked, Good sized portions. The staff were efficient. You wait outside and are called when your order is ready

Visited this fish/chip shop for the first time and was absolutely delighted with the food. The haddock was moist and tasty and the batter was something else. Chips were exactly as people had previously said crispy of the outside and soft in the middle. Would definately make the journey again, as best chippy had in years.

Locked close to the railway station the Cobham Fish Bar is a nice family run takeaway serving very good freshly cooked meals at fair prices bearing in mind the current financial crisis. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful

We had never been to the Cobham Fish Bar previously but when it was our turn to be served we were treated like long lost friends .The fish and chips was cooked when we ordered so it was freshly cooked. Generous portions and good value for money. We will not hesitate to return here Recommended.

We were recommended to the Cobham Fish bar by friends. We were not disappointed . The people who run it were great. The fish and chips was the best we have tasted in a long time. Prices here are also cheaper and better than similar establishments in the area . We will.be returning

Great fish & chips prepared for Cobham Bowling Club for one of our social events. There were a lot of us to feed so it was very impressive that the food was ready on time, piping hot and very enjoyable. The chips were lovely and crispy!

A social event had been arranged for Cobham Bowling Club, which included a Fish and Chip Supper. A bulk order was placed at the Cobham Fish Bar in advance. The service was efficient, friendly and excellent.the large order was collected at the specified time and was ready as promised on arrival.. All the members of the Bowling Club enjoyed their meal, which remained hot following a 10 minute drive to the club in Lushington Drive . Very good value for money . Quality fish and chips, The club and me personally will definitely being using Cobham Fish Bar in the future.

So disappointing. All the fish was dry, my son refused to eat his. 2 x small chips were given and charged to us as 2 x large chips. And they were bone dry as well. 1 x mushy peas turned out to be an extra curry sauce. All in all, we won’t be going back.

Consistently amazing fish and chips! The owner and his team are outstanding and the food is always fabulous and fresh.

Well I have to say I’m not the biggest lover when it comes to fish and chips, however I think that now may have changed. I had the most amazing meal ever last Night with the most crispy chips I have ever had, the most amazing fish ant the curry sauce was unbelievable. The friendliest Person serving too. Everyone really should give this place a try, thank you so much for a lovely meal.

This evening I visited Cobham Fish Bar for the first time. I was there at 6 p.m and only one other person ahead of me. Easy to park close by. I have to say the chips were the BEST I’ve ever had from a fish and chip shop, they were golden and had the perfect crunch on the outside and fluffy potato inside. I am generally not a huge fan of chip shop chips and would normally order a small portion - today I didn’t and almost ate them all! Delicious! The fish was great too. Very friendly service, you have my vote for best in area and I will definitely visit again!

Got cod & chips here today for whole family at lunchtime. Never tried this place its not somewhere you drive past. Had to wait 15 minutes and I moaned about why fast food is no longer fast. Turns out it was the best fish & chips I've ever had. Perfectly cooked! Huge fish portion in a perfect batter and a great bag of superb chips. I will happily revisit whenever I can. This place deserves to be at the top of your list. Apparently you can park for free in station car park for 20mins. Order ahead if you can.

We are regulars of Cobham Fish Bar, eating there 3+ times per month, usually on a Friday. The food is OUTSTANDING, the best fish and chips for miles, the portions are big and the prices are reasonable. The guy who owns it is a nice...

Just enjoyed our Cod and Chips. The fish was perfectly cooked in a light but crunchy batter and the chips actually tasted like potatoes. All cooked to order while you wait, but I rang ahead to order. Definitely worth the calories.

Since its only competitor, the Big Fry in Anyards Road, was taken over by a chain only interested in profit and not quality this is my go to establishment for outstanding fish and chips. I’ve never had poor service and is sensibly priced. Highly recommended....

These guys understand fish and chips! Fish: light and crispy batter, fresh cod and HUGE. Chips: crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle. Tartare sauce: homemade and delicious. Don't waste your time going anywhere else for fish and chips in the area.

A new addition to Cobhams fast food establishments, this might replace a previous 'chippie'on the site, but far exceeds it in quality. The portion size, freshness and quality of fish is astounding. I wish them every sucess.
