Hot Chocolate not very much taste! The cheese and ham toastie was delicious.

Nice place been though before , looked after place very clean there staff very polite there's a well being event there on Saturday 19th October so should be a very good day

The end of the pier is unaccessible and undergoing repair, I think, or hopefully, I think. The amusement area is ok but nit cheap

My Husband and I fancied a day out yesterday 14th August 2024, we thought why not go to Teignmouth, and although we haven't been for 2 years I am pleased to say it hasn't changed. And although CoastersCafe has changed ownership we were very happy with our food and the service we received. The New owners were very welcoming.

We went to Teignmouth for a couple of hours on our way to Dawlish We stopped at Coasters café for our lunch . We had a Cheddar/chutney and brie/cranberry toasties. They were yummy and came with a side salad. Reasonable prices. There was a hand gel bottle on the table for our convenience which I thought was a nice touch considering Covid is still around. As we were about to leave, a gentleman who I believe was the owner, checked that we enjoyed our lunch. He was a very friendly and considerate chap.

This is now the best cafe in Teignmouth. Tried others over the years, but this one is better than all the rest. Friendly and good quality. Opens early, 8.00am, but closed on Mondays. 5* bacon bap (bread roll) a great choice in a morning. Just working our way through the menu. Easy to find in the 'triangle', sit in or out.

Great local Theatre in a modern setting with a very pleasant bar overlooking the seafront. If you like comedy, don't miss the 2nd Friday of the month - three comedians often ones well known on the circuit plus a really good compare. Well worth it Cinema nights . Regular live West End performances - like being there in person.

Went to a Saturday evening show of the Jive Aces.

Events venue. Has a mix of film and live performances. Quite a good range of things for different likes. Modern building with quite good food place on the side for before and after performance drinks and snacks.

Simon and Garfunkel sing alike who were excellent.

Really like the venue. We'd eat and drink here much more often if dogs were allowed, at least on the terrace, which is lovely to sit out on in fine weather. They're allowed downstairs, but it's not nearly as inviting.

Super friendly staff - we sat outside in the sunshine and has a lovely relaxed breakfast. The bacon sarnies were lovely and the coffee was perfect!! Definitely will return.

Divine flat white coffee , succulent scrambled egg and bacon sandwich with wholemeal bread. Family run , very friendly atmosphere. Our favourite.

Just had nice flat white coffee ,staff friendly,and pleasant surroundings ..Could put a bowl of water out for dogs..in the summer.

What a great place. Superb cafe, punching way above the average for Teignmouth. Four of us had a great lunch. Does just what it says. Not fancy but good value, well prepared and served. Clean bright decor, great place

Great place to visit to watch the Comedy show.

Had to wait for a clean table, couple of dirty tables but hey the whole world is short staffed so I don't mind the wait. Good staff, shame there's not much for celiacs.

Breakfast menu has changed and isn't the normal quality we are used too. I passed on my comments which were well received which is why I've , I was also offered a refund on my meal. I really do hope my comments are taken on board as everything was so perfect before, I didn't mind paying the little bit extra because the fry up was so spot on. If the owner is reading this please take this as quality customer feed back and not a nasty baseless review. I have very much enjoyed your restaurant over the years and hope to still do so moving forward

Fantastic breakfast and great service! Used as a stop off and would certainly do the same again if we were in the area. We sat upstairs with a great view of the sea.

Lovely 3 course Xmas dinner today. Nicely presented, well cooked plenty of it and served by 2 very friendly waitresses. A very enjoyable experience.

Love the location looking over the sea and always fairly easy getting a seat. Good menu and feels home made food style and reasonable cost. Lovely local market below and a lovely location to have a drink or some food.

Teignmouth's new Arts Centre which has added a much-needed cultural boost to our lovely seaside town. Cinema, theatre, comedy, workshops, exhibitions and more. There's also a restaurant and café, cocktails and cream teas with an outdoor roof section which, like the indoor café, has fabulous views over the sea! Booking is easy and the whole place is very wheelchair friendly.

We met family had toasted teacakes for lunch, very pleasant. We wanted to be outside as one of us had a bad cold and with a dog we're not allowed upstairs outside with the better view. Quite sheltered though

NormalyGood food and friendly staff lovely atmosphere would normally recommend the ceaser salad but today not great very little bacon no croutons not a lot of salad unlike previous visits.

As a local, I know this place (like so many nationwide) suffered from budget cuts when built. The exterior is not as lavish and in keeping as you may have liked and the interior definitely reflects a scaled down ambience than originally planned. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and polite and try their best to make your experience the most pleasurable they can (this is only hampered by the budget friendly furnishings). Somehow this building seems very disjointed. To access the toilets upstairs I had to go through a myriad of doors, in what seemed a hallway to no-where, before stumbling upon them. Watching a film in the auditorium reminds me of assembly time at school and after an hour FEELS like it! I know people may be upset by this review but as I have mentioned the staff could not try any harder it's just the buildings financial binds which let it down. Children within the family also attend look arts groups (drama etc.) & have not been able to use this ideal, local, facility due to it being too costly to host shows... This is a real shame and unfortunately (in my opinion) is a massive disappointment for the whole town and community. But with the financial climate we are in, this is not likely to be 'able' to change for some time. And this point also brings about the feeling of appreciation that, in whatever shape or form, we have this facility at all.

We popped in on arriving in Teignmouth, went upstairs, soaked up the view on a very damp day and munched our way through some incredible food. Paninins and chips were mouth wateringly lovely. Highly recommend as great location, incredible food and great views.

We are here on holiday and needed some lunch… as we were walking we found this cafe! Lovely food, amazing sized portions, very affordable and the loveliest, most welcoming staff! They were also very welcoming my almost 2 year old! Thankyou!

Great venue with a lot going on and a great atmosphere. I went to see/hear live music and it was a great show! You can order a drink at the bar and and take it with you to the show! Enjoy!

Popped in to the cafe for a drink and some toast. Staff were very friendly food and drink were lovely and reasonably priced, less that £8 for 2 large hot drinks and 2 slices of toast

Visited the cafe on our way home from babbacombe. Lovely cafe , friendly staff, lovely food, half sandwiches for children a hit, felt valued as a customer. Great value for money and a nice little spot to sit and people watch . Highly recommend a visit for a bite to eat

We visited as a family of 7; four adults and three children and the staff at Coasters couldn’t have been lovelier or more accommodating. The children were given colouring books and pens as soon as we sat down and the whole atmosphere was friendly and efficient. We all had cream teas and they were delicious with plentiful cream and jam and I had a fab cheese tea with Brie and cranberry. It was reasonably priced and excellent value for money. We will definitely return the next time we visit this area. Highly recommended.

A small and sweet theatre. Also hads a lovely bar Upstairs where you have a lovely view of the sea.

It's a very slow and peaceful place. Some lovely views too.

We went to see a movie. The movie room is great and very comfortable. They don't have popcorn but you can bring your own candy :)

Nothing there awkward to get to

I go to coasters at least 3 days a week for breakfast, there’s always a friendly welcome and you’re made to feel at home. The food is excellent and the proprietors and staff go over an above to accommodate your dietary requirements, all in all a great experience…..

Very comfy we come each year for the panto. The science show we went to was a little more on the children's side but netherless good

This is a great place for lunch or a snack, the quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients across the whole menu. However, the BLT....is probably the best in Devon!!! Happy obliging staff, a pleasure to go, so give it a try , see you soon. William and Maisie.

Had some bacon baps from the cafe, for a quick snack for dinner, they were really nice. Cooked to order. Found the staff really nice and pleasant . Everything looks really clean and hygienic can't fault it.

A great night out. Seats were comfortable with a great view of the stage wherever you were in the audience. Some queuing for the bars and loos, but nothing outrageous. One unintended entertainment is the auto flush loos ... which do just that every 20 seconds or so ... whether you're ready or not! Hilarious 🤣

A nice place to sit and have a coffee and snack while watching the waves crash upon the sand. Good choice of family menu at reasonable prices. Dogs are welcome in the downstairs cafe while the upstairs cafe is dog free. Great views overlooking the beach and pier while still being on the flat promenade.

Hi, wanted to say what a lovely friendly place your cafe is. We absoultely love coming, made to feel so welcome. Food is fab too. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Teignmouth we cannot recommend Coasters Cafe more highly you will not be disappointed!!!
