The shop catered for our Easter school holiday programme lunch for 25 children and the food was amazing. Everything arrived perfectly to our order. The kids loved it. Thank you so much. We will definitely order from you next holiday!

This review is for the food ordered via the Deliveroo website. We ordered two medium cod and two cheesy chips. Hot, delicious, extremely generous portions of chips and the cod was a little more than "medium" size. and good value. Delivered very quickly by the shop and excellent value, a quality take away, highly recommended. We will be back there when we want and chips again, however the menu is extensive so perhaps something else might be selected !!!!!

I love this place. I love it even more now it has new owners. They’re all so polite and friendly. The food is always ten outta ten 👌🏻 they also have a board up where you can grab something for someone in need which I think is an amazing thing to do considering the area it’s in. My favourite thing to order is the trawler boys special burger I feel like it always hits the spot. I have tried the fish and I think they do it better than most places you go if not most places then alllll! The chips are a win also I always like mine caked in salt and vinegar which they always come out ten ten. Great chippy great staff highly recommend!

This chip shop used to be fantastic and really good value for money. Now it seems as though the owner is putting profit before quality and quantity. A large chips should be just that, not a medium priced as a large and the fish is now all batter. If you want to keep loyal customers you have to earn them.

Hi, I did love this place. I ordered chicken nuggets and they were so bland and tasteless. The ones you had prior were so much nicer, the service is great though!

My daughter went in for a large portion of chip’s to share with her siblings.. £3.65 and was barely the size of a small portion ridiculously small portion, we have had chips from here before and not had this problem so definitely seem to be getting tighter now. Although when I called up the lady was nice enough and did offer to do another portion if we wanted to go back but was too late by then. Not sure if this size portion was given because she was a kid or just their standard size now but unfortunately we wont be returning.

The best chip shop in Southend, food is cooked fresh and never ever had a bad meal , staff are frirmendky and always polite , Katie who works there is always happy and does another for the kids ie dressing up , face paintings and much more , I would highly recommend this chip shop .

Ordered online. Food was delayed for 3 hours and any form of contact I tried to make was ignored. After the 3 hours of waiting, the order was finally cancelled. Complete waste of time and I'll be sure to warn others of this place

Big portions and very tasty, best bit of cod I have had. Ordered a small chips and they had given me a medium for the wait as it is all fresh. The lady even give me some left over milkshake She had made which tasted amazing! Will definitely be going back.

Sometimes it’s so easy for an new venue to slip after a while but that’s not the case here. The food has continued to be of outstanding quality, the service is so warm and friendly at such an affordable price. I have used this fish and chip shop many times and will continue to do so
