Food was excellent but waited 1hr 45mins for it.

Collection took a little longer than stated but that was understandable saying as it was a Saturday night.

Paid for a chicken tikka masala and got just sauce, for nearly £10 that is poor

Back to usual standards, excellent food

Thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway. Food with full of flavour and taste. Generous portion size. Very well packaged and quick delivery. Peshwari naan is the best we have ever tried. Highly recommended.

Outstanding meal, we had lamb bhuna, chicken tikka main plus chicken chaat, rice, poppadums and garlic/coriander naan. All fresh and delicious, thank u!

Food good, order was ready half an hour later than advertised which wasn't great but they did call immediately to let me know that.

Ordered for a 50-65 minute wait. Immediately after ordering it changed to being a 90-110 minute wait, which then arrived 10 minutes late. Overall a 2 hour wait for delivery. I love the food from Clay Oven but delivery estimates need improving.

As always the food was delicious was good temperature and plenty food 😋

Ordered a Valentine’s Day dinner. Two and a half hours later finally got through to the restaurant to be told it would be the next order they would make. Three hours from ordering were waiting

The food is so delicious the late timing is still worth it to wait on. Just order it 2 hours before you want to eat it.

Still haven’t received my order. Very disappointed.

Usually good food, usually late and cheat on the app re saying delivered before it actually is.

Food from here is always 10/10. Never ever disappointed but the 2 hour wait is so irritating. Always marked as delivered well before it arrives. A shame as could put people off, and the food is outstanding.

As always the Clay Oven did not disappoint, 5 stars yet again 👌

Good food as always but the pakora was chicken instead of mixed

La comida era sorprendentemente mala. Pedí verduras de chile al ajo y sabía a salsa de tomate con guisantes. Fue terrible. Ya lo he intentado varias veces y nunca has podido hacerlo bien. Lo tiré.

The food is always amazing which is why we are so torn, been going for years but 2.5 hours for delivery with no communication from them is just so poor. There are similar options with a way better service.

3 hours late and not even a phone call tired calling several times and phone constant busy ordered at 18.40 delivered at 21.34

Ordered food at 7 o’clock and still waiting on it at 9:20, called over 30 times before actually getting through to someone and still have no food

ordered at 6.20 pm. its now almost 9pm. food never arrived. no updated to explain why. Just took my money.

We ordered the prestarter which has come with sliced onions but no popadoms or pickles. The pakora has come with no pakora sauce. Bit disappointing

Popadoms were burnt & pakora & nann cold don’t expect need to reheat when delivered as it wastes the quality of food

Food was great I’d highly recommend however maybe the driver needs more lessons or glasses as he parked in my front garden on my grass despite there being a pavement between my garden and the road which was perfectly clear to park on.

Took over 2 hours from ordering to being delivered and it was all very watery not great!!

90 mins for pakora and popadoms is very poor

I had to wait over two and a half hours for a delivery, this was made worse by the fact that after the time was extended by the restaurant they could not fulfill the order in this time either. At this point I contacted the restaurant and complained to be told the order has just left. After this call the time was extended again and this was also not fulfilled. Beyond this the food was not up to the level of heat or quality expected, especially for this level of wait.

Tuvieron muchos una comida para llevar de aquí , la calidad de la comida varía , 9 / 10 se equivocan de pedido, suelen ser amables cuando llaman al respecto y se ofrecen a rectificar pero no crean que volvería demasiado inconsistente y llegué al punto que me da vergüenza llamar sobre otro error que han cometido, decepcionante.

Food excellent as always, so good, a bit more expensive but worth it. Takes a good bit of time to come so make sure to order at least 1-1.5hrs before.

Over an hour late for food that turned up cold.

when I placed the order it was to be delivered 18:50 to 19:10. I then received a message saying it would be late 19:25 to 19:45. It was delivered 19:55.

The food is good. However it is not that good that I am willing to wait 2 hours for it to arrive! I called asking for an update and I was told that it was just leaving and I didn’t arrive until a further 40mins!! We got no apology or anything, don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again

never again , I was a avid customer of clay oven for a long time , then started getting some really bad takeaways , I thought give them a break for a while , Nothing has changed , delivery if your willing to wait for over a hour , food cold & bland

More than 1 hour late - and not for the first time - quality has been deteriorating - will not order again from this restaurant.

Order took 2 hrs and 30 mins to be delivered after messages to the restaurant and a phone call. When the food finally arrived it was cold and inedible.

We waiting over 2 and a half hours for our order. This spoiled the whole evening for us. Very disappointing. Pakoras were also cold on arrival.

I ordered a meal for one at 7.30 which the app said would be ready for 7.55. I received a call for the restaurant to say my meal wouldn’t be ready till 8.30. I went to the restaurant for 8.30 and had to wait a further 30 minutes. Not really good enough.

The food is always lovely but delivery time has been unacceptable the last few times I’ve placed an order. Waited over 2 hours for delivery which was well over the latest delivery estimate.

Wait over 2 hours for a delivery then food arrived cold so disappointed and will not be ordering again from here.

my first time ordering from Clay oven I ordered the combo box and can of irn bru I placed my at 18.30pm food came 2hrs later shocking time and my order was not complete missing my drink never again I will order Clay oven

Really disappointed in the wait time and the customer service from the restaurant when we called. We ordered at 19:08 with an estimated arrival of 19:55… food finally arrived at 21:00!

Overt two hours. Still waiting on food that was supposed to be 50mins. Have called over twenty times. Always engaged.

Placed my order at 8:40pm and the food was delivered by 9:10pm, half an hour earlier than expected. Ordered the set meal for one with a chicken bhuna, the food was amazing!

I placed my order at 7.30pm and it didn't arrive to 9.55pm and I called up to be told at 8.30 that my order would be with me in 30 mins and I waited all that time until 9.55 when it arrived and by then had ruined my appetite and was too late to eat the food which was a waste of money.

3 hours from ordering till delivery, shocking service with one update saying running late so will now be between 8.20-8.40….which was just about bearable but was nearly 9.30 before it actually arrived. Won’t order delivery again purely down to this, food was nice

Our usual takeaway has become terrible so we tried here for the first time. Ordered the meal deal for 2. Chicken Spring rolls were lovely. Chicken Butter masala was beautiful. chicken tikka masala was good, maybe a little too garlicky but I liked it nonetheless. Garlic naan bread was great. Very good value for money!

as usual, food was great however we made the order at 6.45pm and were told it would be 50-70 minutes which is slow but OK. then had an update to say it would be 8.20-8.40pm. The food didn't appear til 9.15pm!! 2.5 hours late. Really poor. Please let your customers know if there is going to be such a delay, before taking their money. It's unacceptable and needs to be highlighted as it happens consistently with this restaurant.

Waited 3hrs for delivery. Ended up going down to shop . Order was delivered to house while I was down there . Shop owner said he refunded my order back to me will wait and see if happens

That's the last 2 deliveries I've requested Chicken tikka in the saag and both times its been plain chicken and not chicken tukka.. this has been requested in the notes section when placing the order on both occasions. we are too hungry not to eat what has come but we would like you in future to please provide the dish with chicken tikka which you have on many occasions in the past. the request is now not being acknowledged . thank you

We're regular customers -2nd time our meal has been late recently. I ordered 1hr and 30mins ago - no update and still waiting! What's happening at Clay Oven? Staffing issues? We enjoy the food but when it's late and the naan and pakora in a bag are nearly cold it's so disappointing not to mention unappetising. No apology from delivery driver or restaurant. I called restaurant 18:15, told wait another 10 minutes. It's 18:30 now.Hope customer care improve soon or may have to order elsewhere.

Poppadoms were burnt in the middle badly, both of them. Chicken in the chasni was like chewing a brick, absolutely vile, threw out after one bite. Rice arrived cold. Only decent thing was the garlic nann, but I would not order again.

No food received, phoned restaurant five times no answer despite being asked to phone sent messages not answered please return my money
