Classico Pizza in Sutton

I have been using Classico for many years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their food our service. When time allows, I will often collect and get a genuine warm welcome from the owner and his staff. If you want a pizza, made to order with fresh ingredients and cooked as it should be in a wood fired oven, (Rather than on a conveyer belt under a grill.) then it just has to be Classico. Family favourites are the Americana, Pepperoni and Florentina.

I ordered a pizza from this place because they do really good pizzas n stuff. However, tonight I was on my lonesome as my family decided they wanted barbecue pit. I disagreed with their choice emotionally and opted for some nice, classico pizza. I was wrong. I made a mistake. I ordered my pizza, and then waited 2 hours. I had realised by that time that my pizza, in fact, had not arrived. Perplexed, I checked my phone only to see that my order had been CANCELLED by the restaurant. I had no notification, no email, nary even a text. I was shattered. I tried to re order, however I was rejected. My order was not big enough. Want an ending to this story? Sadly, there is none. Just like life itself, it ended abruptly

Good quality ingredients, much fresher than most pizza takeaways. Arrived hot and was genuinely delicious.

Nice pizza but to be honed by the delivery driver who was parked up the road to come and collect it in the rain because it was raining and he did not wish to get wet Never never never again h and it was cold

The food was actually wayyyyy better than I expected. Definitely going to order from here again!

I have to stay in the rain because the driver did bother go jump from his car..and when i went inside my box of pizza was full of water. anyway..bad experience

Best take out pizza, friendly staff, quick delivery, good menu. Unfortunately they have just increased their prices so not as good value however definitely better than the major chains.

make sure you read the tab as i did order a can of diet coke and it didn't turn up!!

Decent pizzas cooked in a wood fire oven with thin bases. Good selection of toppings and not like an American style pizza.

Shame we couldn't eat it because you put black olives on it which we are both allergic to tried calling restaurant no answer

I can only assume this pizza was being delivered from Italy. It took forever to arrive.

These pizzas are excellent. Never a disappointment in 3 years. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommended.

First time ordering. Food was great, thin crust pizza so wasn't too filling. Only issue was I paid for two pots of dip and only received one. Will order from here again, price is good for the amount of food you get

I can't believe that they charged me 50p for paying by debit card, which I wasn't made aware of until after I'd paid, I find that outrageous.

2 pizzas & a side salad > all excellent, hot and on time. I will order from here again!

As always the food is cooked amazingly well and delivered fairly quickly as well. I would highly recommend if you want to have a n authentic Italian restaurant experience! 10/10

We love the pizza from Classico and the smokey flavour from the wood fired oven. Quality is very good and consistent - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

The only pizza place to order from, pretty much any choice you want you get! We live it, lovely and hot, quick delivery. Highly recommended. Thin crust perfect but you can have a different type! Proper Italian pizza!

I got a call an hour earlier than requested the pizza. Spoke to the shop and they said sorry. Pizza came at right time and looked a bit well done. Was nice regardless and won't stop me ordering again from Classico.

Awful.... Waited 2 hours for my delivery as the driver had given my order to the wrong house!!! When it finally arrived it looked rushed, undercooked and was only warm! Wouldn't use them again despite the good deals!

Definitely not value for money. Very disappointed with the pizzas. Toppings didn't look fresh and the quality of cheese wasn't good at all. In terms of the delivery time it took more than 75 mins, where it was supposed to arrive within 45 mins. I had to call them twice to check if the delivery was on the way.

Didn't enjoy. Lasagne was awful. Forgot BBQ sauce, which they kindly brought back but was a cheap awful sauce. Was a quick delivery though and mozzarella sticks were nice.

Failed to deliver the full order. Chased it up promised to deliver but failed. Charged for items not delivered unreliable.

Finally an Italian take away that actually has great Italian food. I had the lasagne, very large portion with cheesy garlic bread which tasted great and coleslaw which was yummy. Arrived 5 minutes earlier then stated and the driver was really friendly. Got enough left over for lunch tomorrow but will definitely be ordering again very soon.

How wrong can you get a pizza? Undercooked (check) Strange, overpowering flavours (check) Overloaded with low quality sloppy toppings (check). I'd rather go hungry than eat this.

Always a great pizza. Took Slightly longer to get delivered but steaming hot. Perfect for football night.

Pizzas from here are as close to authentic Italian as I could hope out of a takeaway. Fantastic flavour, perfect base and crust at a superb price.

I put special notes on my order for no tomato sauce and it was totally ignored!! Pizza was covered in it so was thrown in the bin.. Massive waste of money!

The pizzas from Classico are fabulous. Very thin base, not too much sauce and a good amount of cheese make a lovely base for the rest of the toppings. I would give five stars but I think the side dishes let them down. Standard takeway deep fried stuff. But I stick to getting their pizzas because they are delicious.

Second time on the trot that the Fiorentina has had no olives on it. Maybe olives are too expensive?

As always food good but asked for it at 19:35 came at 19:10.

Food was ok when it arrived, but took longer than expected due to driver getting lost. When food arrived the dip I paid extra for hadn't been handed over and the garlic bread had no cheese on.

Wrong pizza delivered, and bad marinated olives with no taste ! We called 2 times to warn them about the problem. The right pizza arrived 1 hour and a half later for our guest !

Did say no parmesan in the message, but was ignored.

I order from this restaurant on a regular basis and it has always been my go to. This time I was really disappointed to have my pizza arrive cold and much cheaper toppings than usual. The bacon was almost entirely the fat. To top it off they have great deals available, just not on this website. If you call them you can get 2 pizzas for the price of mine. Would have been nice to know. Sorry Classico you just lost a very loyal customer. Something has changed for the worst here

Great tasting and hot pizzas, lovely mixed salad too. Arrived early by a pleasant driver!

Prompt delivery and very good quality.

Took a little longer than expected and when arrived one pizza was a little on the small side but tasty as ever.

They missed the added jalapenos off one pizza, and the other was a stodgy meat-feast type one, not very impressed.

Love Classico. They are my number 1 choice. Fresh cooked pizza. They didn't have spicy wings but called to let me know about it and gave me hot dippers instead. Plus a little more for the lack of wing. 👍🏼

Overall pretty good. Will be trying again. The Vegetarian Hot was good and properly spicy with nice fresh ingredients.

we often order from classico because, unlike every other pizza we've had, the middle crust isn't soggy! must be the stone baked touch. well cooked, good delivery time. just wish they did mozzarella sticks! :)

Pizza was a lovely thin base, plenty of flavour. Arrived super quick. Chicken dipper things were awful. However, pizza was great and very reasonable price.

I always use Classico for pizza. Fabulous thin base, gorgeous toppings that aren't swamped with cheese and not greasy.
