Pizza Express - Cheam in Sutton

Would have considered too pricey without the £50 of Tesco vouchers.

Ordered a gluten free pizza and it was awful. I actually really love pizza express gluten free pizza but this one liked awful and tasted awful.

Nice meal , very helpful stuff.

Friendly staff, but sometimes too busy, feel like a bit understaffed. Price is alright, you probably know the price anyway as its a chain store. Food quality is good. Restaurant is kids friendly. But its a shame that they turned their white theme to a little bit darker. The white goes very well when the cherry blossoms tree goes full blossom every spring. It was picturesque.

Lovely pizzas delivered hot but not cut very well :( . We spent about 15 minutes cutting the things when we should have been enjoying

We live coming here to take out friends out. We appreciate the food, as two of us have problems with certain food, diary intolerance and me a celiac. But they copied with us wonderfully.

No PIZZAS 2030 sunday night??? How does this even happen???? Then only 2 desserts available! After all this witnessed a pizza being made placed in takeaway box either for deliveroo or staff to take home. No wonder the place was empty. Got the feeling the staff wanted to close early. PIZZA EXPRESS how do you run out of PIZZAS shocking!!! Will not be returning to this branch even though it is my local one.

We bought 4 Basil & Pine Dips and these came nearly empty. There was something seriously wrong Not worth paying £3.00.Hope store can look into and let’s know why so? Disappointed on that front and Romana Paadana V was two hard to bite on.

We were given a voucher, so we decided to give it a go here. We chose the duo pizza, and it worked out perfectly as we prefer different toppings. The food was delicious and the service was excellent here. However, the pizzas are expensive, so try to get a voucher and READ THE SMALL PRINT because they have very odd restrictions and are not valid for all mains.

I met up with a friend for lunch today, and we chose the Cheam branch of Pizza Express as we had both enjoyed eating there on previous occasions. Our experience today didn't disappoint, and we had a lovely time. Our waiter David met us at the door and showed us to a table, and was very attentive, taking our order for drinks and then our meals. He was our only waiter today, and he couldn't have looked after us better. He was warm, friendly, efficient and also helped me with the Pizza Express app to ensure I received my free menu items. I was very impressed that the chef wanted to check that I was aware that there were grains in the meal I had ordered, as I had ordered gluten-free dough balls as a starter, but it was fine for me to eat them. However I really appreciated the chef checking. My friend and I really enjoyed our visit today. The food and drinks were delicious, and the dough balls were piping hot, which I always love. David supplied me with a takeaway box, and deftly transferred the leftover salad leaves to the box for me to take home. Many thanks to David, who was lovely. He's an asset to Pizza Express Cheam.

Always use the rewards app! We saved 50% in total over our two apps. It is one of the nicer locations of this chain. It's small, but you don't feel like you're sitting too close to strangers. In the colder months, don't sit by the window as they are actually french windows that open fully in the summer, and as such, there's a strong draft.

The food was of good quality and the ambiance was great. However, I found the prices to be slightly high, but I still enjoyed my meal there.

The pizzas were delicious but ever so slightly cold.

Another great evening at this delightful branch of PE. The whole team here are so welcoming, the food is great making the whole experience such a pleasure.

What a wonderful experience. We have been to many Pizza Express’ over the years but the Cheam branch is definitely our favourite one. The staff is always super accommodating and engaging; food is delicious and the menu well suited for smaller ones. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be coming back here.

All fab. But only disappointment was £8 for 4 dough balls Xmas edition. Underwhelmed for cost of those. Everything else spot on! Best haloumi by far

Pizza Express served some truly awful pizza, with a taste reminiscent of microwaved mediocrity. It pales in comparison to the likes of Papa John's and Domino's, which, in my opinion, are already below par. The sit-down experience was a letdown, and the pricing felt unjustifiably high for such dismal quality. I wouldn't subject myself to that culinary disappointment again.

Food was warm. American Hot, good as usual but the melanzane was poor. Clearly not fresh, dry as a bone and rubbery. This dish does not travel well.

I've eaten in Pizza Express restaurants in the past and always found the food to be very good but this was the first time I'd ever ordered a delivery meal. It was very disappointing to say the least. The lasagne had oozed out of its container as it had obviously travelled on its side not upright and it was lukewarm. I had to put it in the microwave!! The garlic bread with mozzarella was also lukewarm, it was scorched on one side and not really properly cooked on the other - very doughy - and it didn't really taste of garlic! Needless to say I won't be ordering from here again.

Abbi the young waitress was absolutely wonderful… top service and this is the second time she has served me… she is a little diamond. Can’t wait to go again!

Always a pleasant experience - staff have always made a table available for us despite not booking in advance. The staff are always very friendly and seem to manage busy periods very well. The restaurant is clean as are the conveniences. Theres a good range of food on the menu and it's always very tasty however pasta dishes can be cold in the middle (I no longer order the cannelloni for this reason despite it being so delicious). The puddings are just amazing. Alcohol is expensive here There is limited street parking outside or a paid car park a few minutes walk away.

Our server today was Sara and she was brilliant. Very bubbly and knowledgeable about the menu. The manager was brilliant as well. Giving us boxes for our pizza and separate one for the salad, even though I wanted to dump it on the pizza. Well done everyone pat on the back well deserved.

Below average for PizzaExpress. Food was "ok", pasta an chicken was dry and scorched here and there. Passionfruit lemonade delicious. Staff, busy chatting loudly very nearby or on phone. Food prep areas, open within restaurant and within feet of tables. Not a comfortable atmosphere.

We managed to raised £224 for this great charity, and are very grateful for the donations that we have received. We had a lot of laughs and a great day. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Express in Cheam and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was a memorable one. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and a mouth-watering array of toppings. I also enjoyed the restaurant's selection of drinks and desserts, which were both equally delicious and well-presented.

Service was quite slow and they refused to do lunch menu. Appreciate valentines is a busy day but could have been better

Absolutely dreadful experience. Firstly, my friend showed her birthday voucher enabling us to get a bottle of prosecco. The manager came over and apologised that he couldn't accept it that we were only entitled to deserts. We counter claimed that the voucher said otherwise so he nicely apologised and gave us a bottle of prosecco. Secondly, the waitress asked us as soon as the pizza was placed in front of us if we wanted a pudding. We obviously said not sure yet. Once we had finished the starters and dessert we asked for 3 x coffee's but were told the coffee machine had been switched off as we had said no to deserts !!! But that it could be switched on again if we were willing to wait. We were not impressed as the restaurant was supposed to be open until 11pm according to the website and the time was only 9:30pm. So we left and went to a fab Italian restaurant (Mimi e Coco) 3 doors down who allowed us to have just coffes *the staff were amazing and atmosphere very warm and welcoming). Wish we had gone there in the first place, which we plan to soon. I truly won't visit Pizza Express Cheam again which is sad to say as I have frequently visited the Wimbledon Village branch for nearly 35 years.

Starter was cold and rather than be replaced when I returned it I just received same dish back slightly warmer, which I'm sure isn't usual practice for most restaurants, least of all Pizza Express. Pizza was nice, which you would hope was the case as a minimum for a pizza restaurant. Overall quite disappointing and given the current climate you would hope restaurants like this would be upping their game and being more attentive and focused on quality to retain custom.

Awful experience. Terrible service and food undercooked . We went there for a catch up with friends over the Christmas period - the staff especially the manager couldn’t have been more unhelpful- especially when my friend asked for a high chair for her son - huffing away. He clearly doesn’t like children. When the food was eventually served after 90 minutes of waiting it was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle- we ended up leaving most of it. I would definitely not go back

Really tasty, I got the King Prawn classic. My daughter really enjoyed her kids meal and the variety was great. I would go again for the mushroom truffle, looked so yum.

We have visited a number of times before and enjoyed it, but unfortunately, this visit has put us off coming here or maybe even Pizza Express again. Our meals were fine, but we ordered a tomato pasta for the children and the size of the portion was incredibly small. We asked the waitress and she said she doesn't control the sizes and that's what size they are. The child on the table next to us had double the size but the reply was "it just looks bigger". Next time we are going back to Prezzo.

My daughter had a lovely pizza making party with her classmates here! The manager and staffs are very experienced. They controlled the party games and pizza making beautifully which was not easy with 25 kids! We are so glad that all the kids enjoyed the party. Definitely highly recommend!

An appealing branch of this pizza chain

Popped in for what I hoped would have been a quick lunch on the hop. Seated then ignored. 20 mins and nothing so just walked out. It wasn’t even that busy on a Monday late lunch time. There is an excellent manager at this branch but he wasn’t there today and it showed.

The food I recieved this afternoon was nice but barely warm. I would normally let this slide but I paid for an extra garlic butter. When I unpacked my order, I was shocked to see a dismal amount of butter in one of the pots. It could not have been more than a tea spoonful and this meant I didn’t not have enough to have with my food. It is very annoying that I ordered extra so I would have enough but the amount I recieved was a joke. I have taken a photo of the amount I recieved if you wish to see it. I know it’s only garlic butter but I can not understand how someone could actually put that tiny amount in the pot and think it would suffice. It is a shame because as I said, the food was lovely (but cold) but I just could not enjoy it as much as I should have done.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We regularly visit with my young family, and the experience is fantastic every time - food is always fresh and well prepared, the staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is open, clean, light and airy. Thank you Pizza Express Cheam - our favourite place in Cheam :)

We celebrated our son's birthday event on 25th Sep. It's an excellent concept - 'Kids Pizza Making Party'. Event was well designed & well planned within a stipulated amount of time 2 hours. All 11 kids had loads of fun with pizza making & further with cake cutting celebration. They thoroughly enjoyed eating their own pizza along with dough balls, dessert and drink. Excellent service from the team. Thanks again for making event memorable.

Big restaurant lots of seating. Very clean and tidy. Always busy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food always yum!! They do do a kids menu, good portion size. They have pencils and puzzles to keep kids entertained.

Excellent service, really impressed. Had run out of prawns however so some of the dishes weren't available. Would have been good to know this at the start.
