Clarks Pies in Bristol, City of

Rude character serving. Needs a personality transplant !!!! Put me off. Couldn't even respond with hello or acknowledged my thanks. Will not be returning again because of this guy. Once I put it down to him having a bad day, second the same, third that was the last straw

From a child I've been going to the Clarks pie shop brought back memories when I lived in Bristol always having a pie or two on church road they were the days it's a shame only one shop left in bedminster any time in Bristol always a favourite to have .

Terrible place to work the staff was extremely rude and had disgusting behaviour my boss made me feel uncomfortable and not welcome and some of the other staff and I was disgusted by the hygiene I found several hairs whilst eating aswell

This is a small shop/hatch selling them after baking, so can't eat in but the pies and pasties are delicious and Clarks have been around for decades and one of their pies is always a treat. What I personally like is that the pastry is crisp but the gravy is moist and well flavoured. Great with mashed potatoes and/or sweede and green beans. Picked up a few pies whilst in the area after a dental appointment. So nice to have a nice fresh pie straight from the oven, and not reheated. So many fish and chip shops have closed down recently it's got harder to find them, so will be ordering a load for the freezer. Heartily recommended

Been to the shop a few times and each time I’ve received great value the pie’s are my favourite and the other day I picked up 32 pie’s and pasties and was served with a lovely smile and was very quick thank you so much will be back for more soon 👍👍👍

I’ve been ordering pies for our Xmas eve party for the last 10 years or so, we serve with mash & mushy peas. This is the start of Christmas celebrations in our house. This year no party due to Covid, but we are going to deliver pies to all friends so they can still enjoy an easy Xmas eve meal. Tasty naughty treat.

This is a basic takeaway selling a limited range of savoury pies and pastries. The nearest thing to a 'hole in the wall' that you can get. Good value. Perhaps a bit salty? depends on your taste. Lunch time only.

Purchased 3 Stake and 1 Pasty' Threw away the Stake Pies! They were well oversalted and inedible!! Expecting a "Gert Lush!" Got a "Gert Disapointment"

Just a perfect pie at a perfect price. Excellent service and great value. The pies are as good if not better than they've ever been.

Clarkes simply sell the very best Pasty in the world. It's no the cheapest, but is the most flavoursome, packed full of filling plus herbs and spices and is simply delicious.

Love the piesonly problem is can't seem to park any where the staff are friendly worth a trip there pie is amazing and hot

Popped in Saturday morning and purchased a Clarks pie. The pastry was about an inch or more thick on one side, couple of weeks before was good. Certainly seemed better when I was younger.

I can`t say enough good things about this place, its the best pies and pasties in the country for me, don`t get me wrong there are some great pasty shops in Cornwall but for me this is Mecca! I grew up in Bristol and obviously got the taste for them back then, but now anytime I go to Bristol or even past Bristol I have to pay a visit there, show my respect and have a pasty and pie or two. For those not schooled in the way of the Clarks there is a definite art to eating a pie, you know when you mastered it `cos you can eat one without wearing any of it, lol. miss most about Bristol!!!

This company is well known in Bristol by many Bristolians as the best pie shop of all time. I have been having pies and pasties here since I was a child and still a firm favourite with me now at the age of fifty. The pasty is always fresh and tasty with a great filling in both pies and pasties. Some chip shops around Bristol stock Clare's pies/pasties or you can buy straight from the shop where they are cooked from scratch on the premises. A Bristol favourite which I hope continues.

Having grown up and lived in Bristol for many years i have probably eaten hunderds if not thousands of this shops wares, and i can say they are without doubt my absolute favourite. Anytime i pop down to Bristol its one of the must visit...

I think that this Clarkes Pie shop is one of the few in Bristol now. My husband absolutely loves these pies. To be honest they are so good when the pies have just come out of the ovens, much better than from the chip shops....
