Large fish, though not the nicest I've had it was okay

What a waste of £13.50. Fish was mush, not flaky. Horrible. Chips = bin.

The fish were large and did not have too much batter. My wife explained that the battered sausage was exceptional.

If you like fish and chips or you have never tried them before this is the place to go, their fish is freshly cooked and there is enough chips for two people to eat, from just one portion.

Always good fish and chips,small portions available if you have small appetite,they serve other things,sausage,spam,peas curry sauce and pineapple fritters,lots to choose from.

First time we have visited, the fish and chips were cooked to order, absolutely delicious and a huge portion, my new favourite fish shop.

Nice friendly staff, … good quality fish & chips simply doesn’t get any better, …. I personally like curry sauce with my chips, and although there’s is nice, I would like to see “Chinese Curry Sauce” on the menu, apart from that I’d certainly recommend you give them a try

Family run fish n chips shop typical Yorkshire cooked fish n chips lovely people always freshly cooked so you might have to wait a bit but so worth it.

My Grandma muttered those delightful words, "Oooh, do you fancy fish and chips?" last Saturday lunchtime and am I glad she did. (She also said "I'll pay" which made it better still...) Her house is 5 minutes walk from Claremont fisheries. I have walked on through most of my life from a boy holding hands with my Grandad, through my teenage years, to being a Dad and taking my daughter on - each time, we've experienced fish and chips at their best. Just like last Saturday, being welcomed by the owner who always says hello and engages in conversation. The chips have a lovely golden exterior and are fluffy white on the inside. The fish is always fresh and flavoursome. The portions are generous without being over facing. If you're in the area and fancy fish and chips, look no further - you won't be disappointed.

When we go to Claremont Fisheries. We always buy one fish and chips plus one fish which is plenty for us.

I tried my usual (fish and chips with a portion of curry sauce) they were delicious, so fresh and full of flavour. Then I tried the chicken BREAST nuggets.... OMG!! Batter to die for! My advice would be order your fish n chips with a side of chicken nuggets!!!! Once you try them you'll never go to another fishery!! Homely, clean and welcoming.

Recently been to Claremont fisheries on wrose road. Has to be the best fish and chips I have ever had the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Defiantly recommend going. 5*
