City Grill in Ipswich

Been coming here for a while now and we love it food always taste good always quick even when busy definitely worth a go

Everything is outstanding, except from the chips, the chips were soggy, and not crispy

Very disappointed got my order wrong and chicken nuggets was really soggy like they have been sitting there all afternoon

Food was amazing other then frozen deserts. Delivery driver epic, in his BMW. Food was very hot tasty and would definitely order again

A lovely meal food nice and hot great taste and thank you for the delivery driver who still managed to get to ours with everyone coming out of the event

No chicken that I ordered. No ice cream thst I ordered. Replacements were not Adequate!

Food was of pretty good quality, looked freshly made, however portion size was far too small. Kebabs arrived in mini sized pita, I ordered 1 large and 1 medium, they were identical, only the box was a different size, same bread, salad and meat. Ordered 2 small chips, and they really are small, barely a children’s portion. Have used several kebab restaurants from the just eat app and I would say the portions from here are roughly half the size of their competitors.

Tasty hot food, never get the orders wrong and the delivery driver is always polite. Easily the best takeaway kebab in Ipswich. Couldn't recommend more.

Lovely food! Really goof customer service I called up to add cheese on my chips was friendly and did not charge me extra! Would highly recommend donner meat fresh and cut lovely!

Food came pretty quickly considering the time, was also freshly cooked as very hot. Good chips, not greasy. Chicken wings also pretty good. However the kebab wasn’t that great. Chicken Shish tasted funny and was chewy, pitta tasted of cheese for some reason and the lamb donner was tasteless. Quite oily as well. Shame as the other items ordered were good

Was a friday night but the order showed up after 1 hour 30 the meal itself was good. I rung in after the hour to be told the driver just left. What's more annoying is google maps shows as a 7 minute journey from theres to mine

Fantastic kebab shop. Super cheap, and amazingly accommodating to our requests. The only negative I have, which is small! Is I think they’ve recently started putting cilantro on their salad. I don’t think many people will like it. Other than that, a fantastic place to order from

Delivery driver didn't really make an effort to deliver the food, upon calling the "resturant" the original call was very snappy but a second delivery was arranged. This was also half an hour longer than they said it would be. When we finally got the order I didn't get the beef pasta I ordered instead I got a lasagne. The only saving grace was that after I made a second call to the business, they threw in a free desert for us.

Chips tasted horrible, some of them were cold and looked asif they had been sat there for ages. Won’t be getting another order from me again. I also left a note to say could someone please call my mobile when outside but the delivery man never bothered to phone.

Food was delivered on time, however it was nearly 1am and the delivery driver was very aggressive with our intercom system. When he pressed the buzzer he held it down for so long it woke our neighbors up. He pretty much threw our order at me and walked off without an attempt to give our change. The food wasn't very warm, they hadn't listened to all of our requests and had put sauces on where we asked for them separate. The burgers were only just warm and had a lot of gristle and hard bits in them. The chips were like cardboard, and the dinner meat was dry and cold. Most of it went in the bin. We were very disappointed. We tried to call about it after but no answer. Will not be using again.

absolutely disastrous!over an hour and a half late cold kebab cold chips fulllllll of oil when a kebab should be oil free or very litle!!!!i would much rather starve my self then it here again!

Food late so rang store and they said they had tried to deliver it and tried to ring me. No phone call and our flat phone did not ring either. Man was very rude to me on the phone and no apology from delivery driver when we finally got our food 1hour 45 minutes later. Just to top it off a little bit more, it was absolutely disgusting!! The chips were under cooked and still frozen in the middle. The chicken was burnt and dry. And the salad looked like it was 3 months old. Definitely will avoid in the future. Rude staff and horrible food.

I ordered a quarter pounder burger meal, and a special chicken shish kebab, the burger was unbeatable, really sloppy, old burger bun and really poor quality burgers, as for the special!!?? Chicken? Kebab, that was also unbeatable, it smelt really funny, waste of money, not good, avoid.

Got our order completely wrong! We had ordered large cheesy chips, we got small chips on its own with no cheese, large chicken shish with salad we got small chicken shish, no salad & bbq sauce & also large doner meat and chips with burger sauce and we got small doner meat and chips with garlic mayo. It’s like they couldn’t be bothered to look at the order correclty! Absolutely shocking customer service as well, we called and explained this to them and they just fobbed us off by saying they would call us back which they didn’t and then when we kept trying we would either get a busy dial tone or it would just ring constantly. I’m only giving 1 star because you have to but AVOID ordering from here.

Terrible, order came COMPLETELY WRONG, ordered a quarter pounder meal and chicken shich kebab. Driver arrived late with two packages containing donner shish meat with sauce and chips in one of them, without the drink from the meal. Tried calling them about it, but got a busy dial tone every time I tried. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

food was awful, was given chicken donner meat instead of chicken shish, chips were cold with no cheese on at all. rang to complain and the man said it was definitely chicken shish, either they think I’m blind or their meat quality is that bad. was also given a tango instead of a Fanta. will definitely not be ordering again.

Ordered 2× fanta and got tango when I rang the restaurant they said they dont do fanta food arrived early but was very greasy and we didnt enjoy it was on the phone to just eat for nearly an hour to complain

quick delivery and good quality food, still hot, only downside was the wraps weren’t wrapped properly at all and were really difficult to eat because everything was falling out and I had to try to re wrap them. but they tasted good which is the main thing!

The portion size for the amount I paid was poor. The donner meat was disgusting, It looks like they left it sitting there then put in a box, you can tell. Everything else was ok. This is normally a good restaurant, maybe it was just poor yesterday

it’s a Wednesday night, not a weekend when I would expect it to be a few minutes late, I didn’t eat the food in the end as I lost my appetite waiting for it. Poor service.

Very poor costumer service. My order was : Lamb Shish Kebab, Medium 5.30 + No salad 0.00 + No Sauce 0.00 Small Chips 1.30 7-up, 0.33L 0.90 City Pasta, Chicken & Mushroom Pasta 5.00 low portion which was overbaked, not tasty at all. Late for 30 minutes! which means 80 minutes from order. In my first phone call he said its on its way, and that 20 minutes later the driver said "i took it 5 minutes ago". And the food was still worm so costumer service lied. I Asked refound what he said "i cannot do", i must turn to Just eat. (thats was im gonna do) and than just put the phone on me. All togather this service worth 0. Be clever before u order from here. - CS

Burger had no sauce, and why is in burger Red cabbage and big piece of onion? Potatoes were not edible. Sadly my takeaway is ruined.

1 hour and 15 mins for delivery to arrive. Item was missing. We called the restaurant and 25 mins later it arrived (taking 1 hour 40 mins all together. Food was good.

I ordered a meal deal and did not receive my drink.
