Chutney Masala in Tameside

We always appreciate the quality of the food from this restaurant and it seems extra tasty, I am writing this and want to order again as my mouth is watering!

One item was missing I phoned up and they sorted it very quickly so very happy and good is lovely as always

Beautiful food as always. Can’t fault this place one bit.

Food was great but the bag and food smelt of cigarette smoke so as non smokers it was quite off putting, delivery driver clearly smokes in the car.

Lovely food. Very tasty and came pretty warm. Only thing negative was the chips were cold. So I had to warm them up before I could eat the rest. Other than the chips the food was very nice, and I’d go as far as stunning.

The food is always delicious and on time, it’s our go to for a take away.

one curry wasn't sealed properly and leaked all over the bag and the other items. will think twice about ordering again

I haven’t left a review before, but felt it necessary to this time. Chutney are brilliant, usually bring my order within an hour, decent prices, no delivery fees and still delivered on time even though I’d put the wrong address on by accident. Highly recommend 👍🏻

would have been all great but two of the curries were missing from the order, promptly resolved but did delay the overall order

just had a chicken tikka biriani, nan ,and rogan josh curry sauce .Food here is always good value and tasty.Highly recommended

We have been having takeaways and eating in here for a few years now. The tastiest food, the best and most friendly service and great value for money. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing. After getting our takeaway from here for a number of years, recently more often than not it’s arrived cold , and not just lukewarm , just cold and unenjoyable. We don’t live far away either. The Taste is always great but the temperature of the food is poor. Gutted as it’s our treat to get our takeaway from here , and recently not been able to enjoy it. 🙁

We have been ordering from here for years and love it. It’s hands down our favourite. We’re veggie and have tried every combination we can have they always make super tasty food, it always arrives hot. Our friends have had it with us when visiting and has meat in their curries and always loved it too. Very happy with them, great service if I’ve ever ordered over the phone rather than just eat. Just a solid reliable and yummy meal - thank you! We’ll be back for many years to come!

The lamb was tough and the madras wasn’t spicy

Ordered food for 7.45 it is now 8.15 and we have not received our food

Chipati’s and samosa’s a bit small but overall was delicious!

the food was mediocre and sweet (added sugar to all savory dishes)

Had a take out from here it was first time it came quick and was so yummy and the bagees were loveliest I've had yes no complaints here fom me .

Ordered half chicken tandoori which came as two legs and thighs / very poor quality. No pickle with popadum. The worst takeaway ever.

There was a little something missing from our order (again-always seem to forget the salad when we order) but it was rectified and food lovely

Got the mixed grill just a portion for one by the looks of it. Missed the lamb chunks just 2/3 chicken kofta and lamb chop and a small quarter chicken. Chips were soggy by the time i got them and naan was quite tough.no choice of tikka massala sauce with the mixed grill

Until recently I would have left 5 stars but in the last few weeks the quality of the dishes has declined. We've been regulars for quite a while and have several favourite dishes, but lately we've been disappointed. Delivery service is fine and ordering on the app works well.

most disappointing meal, me and my college working a 14 hour shift and the description of the starter was made out of it to be quite a bit of stuff and when it got here it was hugely disappointing chop had no meat on and one piece of each chicken, masala was nothing like a classic and watery. very disappointed

excellent service from order to door. The food was as usual, delicious & hot. Chutney Masala is a must go to delicious food heavenly place.

We have dined here many times.The curries are delicious. We went last night with friends & had a lovely time. The staff are very friendly and check that everything is ok. Take your own alcohol 🍷 🍺 & they provide glasses , ice etc. The place has been refurbished to a good standard & looks really good. Four of us had poppadoms, chutney’s, four main meals (lamb and chicken ) rice & Naan breads all delicious & it was £25 per couple.Great value & taking your own drinks is a bonus. Well worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Used your takeaway weekly for a number of years, fantastic. However, the popadoms were greasy and soft. The naan bread wasn’t good as normal, soggy. The pilau rice was dry, normally cooked to perfection. Overall I’d always give you guys 5 stars but…

Order got lost some how was hour and half late. Food was delicious though.

Ordered 2 x Napali Donna kebabs, Garlic Chicken & Chicken tikka starters. The kebabs were disgusting, the meat was dry & no spice at all. they tasted like it had been sat in old oil / grease & dried out. The garlic chicken was bland & over cooked the chicken tikka was just OK. We won't be ordering anything from here again the food has been going down hill over the last 6 months. We only ordered yesterday as put the last order down to them being busy, i guess it's just gone rubbish never again.

Lovely food, nice and hot, couldn’t drink my full fat coke that was sent instead of Diet Coke as I have diabetes so that was a bit annoying. But I enjoyed the kebab.

Staff were incredibly unfriendly and surly. A very unwelcoming place to eat. We were the only couple in the restaurant and they still managed to get the order wrong (despite reading it back to us on order) Won’t be returning. Awful!

I came in on my way home from work. Wow, I was blown away with the decoration and staff, they were great. The presentation of the dishes are like no other restaurant I’ve ever been in. The range of tastes are amazing!

Such lovely friendly staff that go out of their way for you, they simply cannot do enough. Bobby on reception in particular goes out of his way to provide such a great service with a smile 😊 I have tried many of their lovely curries and they are all delicious but I strongly recommend trying the chef’s specialty, the Dhanya curry.. it is simply amazing and one of the best curries I have ever tasted.. an absolute must to try the Chutney Massala in Mossley.for truly delicious Indian cuisine 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😋

It was the worst meal from here I’ve ever had Tandoori Chicken had two legs with hardly any chicken on them the Bhalti sauce tasted false and very spicey and a poor excuse for a nnan bread will not be going again Years ago I loved it here what went wrong

Normal love the chicken korma but was disappointed today. It was very thin and watery. Not the usual thick creamy sauce. Hope this was a one of as normally my go to curry house for many years.

I ordered a takeaway because I was bored with eating the same things, and it was lovely and tasty. It was delivered on time, the delivery guy read the delivery instructions and buzzed my neighbour, I have had a stroke and have difficulty getting to the front door, so excellent service

I'm not a kebab tasting expert but was hungry and thought I'd give it a shot. The really nice kebabs, lamb, Nepalese spicy one and mixed kebab. What an inspired choice. Sliced adopt on time and I was a fair bit away, nicely and well wrapped in tin foil, and so nice. Ate one immediately and kept the other two fur the next few days. Best kebab I've had and just lovely. Shared with friend next day and she loved it, more of an expert than I am clearly! Anyway, think this is a good restaurant and sleeve service. Recommend it 👌🏼

The nicest curry we have had for ages. Lamb chop starter, popadom & chutney followed by lamb tikka Karaih ( spelt wrong). We all had different curries & all very good. We went early so it was quiet, service spot on. Still wish they would tone the decor down though but don’t be put off by it. Take your own alcohol & they provide whatever you need 👍

Worse kebab we’ve ever had from chutney masala ☹️ Must have been left over bits? As that is what it tasted / looked like and we’ve had this order multiple times and enjoyed it in the past! Won’t be ordering it again from here.

Food was hot but chicken was gristly, overcooked and not edible, ended up with curry sauce and rice, not what we expect at this price point, my last order.
