A hidden gem in Bucks - the food is always really tasty, freshly cooked and well worth the visit. A large menu with plenty of choice - everything we’ve ordered so far has been amazing. Take away only.

not number one in Winslow in my eyes, most expensive though ! No flavour and hardly any veg so felt cheaply made. Also question if there is MSG in it as both my husband and I had pounding blood pressure after consuming. Never have poor quality from Blue monsoon which is just down the road.

Yesterday our family party, then our family members decided to order Indian food from Chutney jacks . I didn't expect such a great service and food. Our family members satisfied & enjoyed food. We ordered spicy Lamb dansak, prawn Dupiaza, lanb madras, Chicken korma, king prawn Biryani, Garlic rice,Boiled rice, pillow Rice, chilli paneer, Sag bhaji, Bombay Aloo, chicken pakora and Mix Gril, mix starter garlic naan. Everything was spot on. Really tasty. All meals are mouthwatering fresh & healthy. We are recommended to everyone try Chutney Jacks indian Food, i hope everyone satisfied. I will definitely order again! Thank you

We ordered for the 1st time last night and all night have had a bad tummy. I normally get this from old rice. We did order a rice dish and 2 vegetarian dishes and naans. Being of Indian origin, this food is not authentic Indian in any way at all!! Found the paneer tasteless and nothing like what it should be. We also ordered garlic naan but could not taste any garlic on them. Totally rippling off locals who think they are getting quality Indian food, when it's nothing like good Indian food!! This owner seems to always bite back when you are unsatisfied, instead of being humble. I was expecting a nasty reply back, which I got, even though I have had intense cramps all night. Trust me it was not due to the spice levels as there was no flavour. I have been too plenty of tandoori restaurants and this is by far the worst. Please except customer reviews respectfully , that's what reviews are meant for!! I don't normally write reviews, especially if bad as everyone has different experiences, but when I get ill after a meal that i did not enjo, I believe a review is justified!

My favourites are the tandoori chicken, lamb dansak, onion bahjis and veg pakoras! Chilli and onion rice yummy too! Their service is always excellent and drivers always on time.

Have used for a few years. Ordered as usual a king prawn biriani for my wife which was very hot, so hot she could not eat it. We were offered the next curry at half price. After some discussion and defence excuses from the driver he called me a liar. Will never use again. Their attitude was appalling.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always fresh, delicious and consistently exceeds my expectations. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing great service every time I visit. I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have never been disappointed. This restaurant has become one of my go-to spots and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, perfect for individuals or groups with different taste preferences. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that I will continue to frequent and recommend to family and friends.

Disappointing and expensive. Specifically asked for salad, got little bags of lettuce, not fresh (slimy) with only 2 slices of cucumber and 1 very very small slice of tomato in each. No lemon wedges so onion bahjees were dry. Tandoori mixed grill was small, lacked flavour but incredibly salty. None of the food was great and it was expensive at nearly £60 for 2.

Great takeaway. Food is amazing and delivery very reliable to our village. Our go to when friends and family are visiting or when we fancy a night off cooking.

Having only moved in to the area 1week ago I was walking around and spotted CJ's on the high street. Thought I'd give it a go, nervous as they can differ so much. Arrived early, hot and omg...the k.bread was out of this world. Soooo big, I struggled eating half (save other bit) the flavours are amazing. Large portions too. Half the rice did me. Definitely now my local go to Indian takeaway.. can't wait to try more on the menu. Well done guys 👍🏽

2hrs from order to delivery. Not good enough. The food tasted great, even though we had to have it for lunch the following day instead of when intended.

Ordered the mixed grill with mushroom rice and garlic Nan. Tasty, lots of sauces for the popadoms. Our usual curry place let us don’t but these guys stepped in and delivered hot food in great time. Well done and thanks to all the staff at Chutney Jacks x

I don't like Indian food! Ordered from Chutney Jacks as a treat for the wife. OH MY GOOD GOD! This is exquisit! I just Inhaled a Chicken Tikka Passanda, stole some of the wifes Tikka and, can say proudly that i demolished the whole pot of the best damn coconut rice i've ever tasted. This review took three times longer than it should have becaues i'm now back on their menu looking for other things to try. PUT THIS FOOD IN YOUR FACE!!!!

Food is always excellent. It arrives fresh and hot and portion sizes are big. Lamb Dhansak is fantastic with loads of meat. Not a criticism at all but if you want poppadoms then order them as they don’t come complimentary. However the prices are very good considering the portion sizes and quality of food. 👏👏

We use Chutneys when we lived nearby and when we moved to the edge of their delivery, carried on using them. Food is lovely, service brilliant. We cannot complain with this local firm who also support local and national charities.

Andy, Pudding and I all agree that this is the best. curry. in. Buckinghamshire. The chicken and lamb were juicy and generous, the sauces were thick and gorgeous, and the naans were bigger than our heads. Full marks!

Easily one of the best Currys we have had in Bucks. Got a Balti and Korma and both were packed with flavour and lots of meat + Vegies. Good value for money as had enough for left over next day. Recommend the cheesy Nann 👌🏻 We ordered online and got it delivered, no delivery fee and only waited about 45mins.

I did a review for these guys a few years ago when they first opened. They were a great alternative to my regular takeouts but I did have some occasional issues with various side dishes and the quality of some of the meats used in the tandoori mixed grill, but since then they have continued to vastly improve in all areas and have now become my favourite. Chutney jacks got me through lockdown, I think at one point I had a takeaway from them every week so I thought it only right to update my review to 5 stars. At the time of my original review the Dipalee in Buckingham took the crown as best Indian food, however Chutney Jacks for me anyway has stolen that in recent months as the food is now outstanding. I don’t know what you’ve done to your Naans, I think they have been crafted in some magic pit as they are epic. Still hoping for some kind of prawn fried rice on the menu but egg fried rice remains my 2nd favourite. Look forward to another takeout in the future.

Moved into Whitchurch from Aylesbury almost 3 years ago and have always relied on my old favourite in Stoke Grange, driving there and back for a takeaway and wishing they'd deliver. Had a drink last night and wanted curry; saw that CJ's deliver to my area. Now a complete convert!! Excellent food: stunning butter chicken, chicken tikka chilli masala and a great prawn puree. Only wished I'd tried them sooner. A bit more pricey but you get what you pay for. Generous portions in rices and bread sizes. But the tastes and freshness is out of this world. I love Chutney Jacks, my new go-to Indian takeaway x

The full 5 stars from me. Veg pakora were probably the finest I have ever eaten. A huge portion too! Excellent onion bhajis, really well made, and another big portion. A superb tiger prawn sag - full of flavour, and very little grease, which is always a win. Tandoori chicken tikka was succulent and had not dried out, well-presented and in big chunks of chicken. Hot and tasty naan bread too. Will be returning very soon and will be ignoring other Indian takeaways nearby!

We've been getting takeaway from here for a while and would have happily given it 4/5 until the last couple of deliveries. The penultimate one was OK if a little on the bland side but it wasn't unpleasant. The most recent one however was inedible unfortunately. We had Chicken Tikka Masala that was almost entirely just pureed tomatoes and no actual taste, a peshwari naan so stuffed with almond paste that the whole thing had turned into a big soggy mess, a King Prawn Shashlik that had tough prawns which smelled terrible (like wallpaper paste?!) and the rice was dry and crunchy. The starters (bhai and pakora) were fine and my son ate his nuggets and chips but the rest was a real let down. We reported this to the restaurant and we were offered an initial £10 refund, later increased to £20 as they left us with no further route to resolve the disagreement over the quality of the food. If the meal itself left a poor taste in the mouth the customer service afterwards did even worse. The representative we reported the poor meal to on Facebook was passive aggressive and highly accusatory in his tone and language with a high degree of passive aggressive behaviour. Small businesses rely on loyal customers to survive and we may have been willing to overlook the food in this instance as a one off bad experience but after the disrespectful tone of dealing with their representative we can safely say we won't be eating from them again.

Recently moved into Winslow and ordered from Chutney Jacks based on the reviews, but was a little disappointed as it was fairly average and I felt a little overpriced.

I ordered through Just Eat. The food came really quickly, was piping hot, and was delicious. There were no missing items and they amazingly deliver to our village as not many do. So thank you Chutney Jacks we will order from you again.

Just had our first takeaway (delivery) for a long time from Chutney Jacks - and loved it. The delivery was on time and very convenient. We ordered three or four different starters plus three mains plus 2 x naans - definitely over-ordered for three of us - but we will have the leftovers tomorrow or Monday - they won't go to waste. One slight 'area for improvement' - the potatoes in the sag aloo were overcooked for my taste - but I'm not complaining as the other eight or nine dishes were delicious. We will be back!

Very inconsistent. Can be good, but last Friday the food was at best Bland, accompanied with dry chicken and rice. The only highlight was the nan. Hopefully this was just a 1 off
