Terrible chips that should have gone straight in the bin instead of being served to long standing customers We ordered a large fish, Southern fried chicken and savaloy which were okay but the chips were inedible and dried out with age.

Yesterday I ordered a cod and chips medium off of Uber it came to £15.50 this wasn’t the worst the worst was that I had to deal with cold food and soggy food and it also was no salt and vinegar when I asked for that and the presentation is a joke the chips were just chucked on top of fish and the portion I was given was nowhere near a medium. Churchill’s should definitely go and have a look at other fish shops and how they work the owner needs to up their game because this shop is a joke. DO NOT ORDER HERE

You really need to get better quality potato's or chips as they are disgusting very very poor quality, you used to do nice chips now awful, I won't be coming back, too many bad experiences, I would recommend White Hart Fish Bar much better quality, you could learn a lot from them.

I visited Churchills this evening to buy some chips. It’s a challenging evening as there is so much going outside with riots and protests. They customer service of the lady that served me was disgusting. I’m a black male and everyone that was served before me was Caucasian and was serviced politely and with pleasantries! When it was my turn, it was almost as if I didn’t belong in the shop! It’s appalling in this day and age that people are treated in this manner. The quality of the food was poor and I really shouldn’t have bothered! Everybody deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of colour! Do better churchills!

I would of given the opportunity a 5 star, Paul and Megan were great. However the boss lady/manager (Wears a black uniform) spoilt the whole experience with their obnoxious attitude without a shred of customer service (Asked for a new blank card and told no as you already have a card that was stamped-Advised I simply wanted the blank card, ready for when I come I'm next time). On average spend around £30 for the family there, looks like I'll be going to the Turkish next door!! Standard's have definitely gone down hill over the years.

We used Churchill’s for the first time yesterday and got a delivery. We had medium fish and chips each and mushy peas. The food arrived on time and was piping hot and not soggy at all. The chips are the best we’ve tasted and the fish was fresh with golden crispy batter. We will definitely be using Churchill’s in future.

We were visiting family who live in Collier Row and we chose to have a take away fish supper from this place as my sister has used this place before and had always had good food. We ordered the medium cod and chips and also the chicken nuggets. The fish portion sizes were very good, cooked perfectly and tasted delicous. The chicken nuggets were also of a good size and very tasty. Everything was cooked at the time of ordering and so was still piping hot when we got the food home. We shall certainly use this place again when we are in the area and can recommend that you give this place a try.

Usually very nice always use Churchill’s but tonight’s was absolute pony! soggy fish hard chips went straight in the dustbin

Love my weekly fix of fish and chips. Food is so tasty and the service is friendly and welcoming. Quite an extensive menu and the place is always spotless. Give it a go if you are looking for a lovely traditional take-away,
