Called in from out of town based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, the Peri fillet burger was paper thin and tasteless. Chunkys in bradford is FAR superior which is weird considering this is the OG!

Best Peri Burgers in the UK, travel from Bradford just for the Peri burgers regularly. Need to reopen original Chunky Chicken in Bradford and Halifax, Gunners sell a knock off of the OG Chunky Chicken peri burger in Bradford. The Rochdale one still has the original taste from 10 years ago.

Decent, will need to revisit & try more options on the menu.

Cold and chewy burgers at times dry and just about cold. drinks are never cold never get any salt in bags service is gone down hill few years now recommend the bury branch

We were in the Rochdale area for business. Decided to give this place a try. Friendly staff, excellent food quality. The peri peri chicken is amazingly delicious. The owner is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended place for both eat in or delivery.

I have to be brutally honest. I'm very fussy about food, and I'm sensitive to highly refined foods, especially highly refined oils. These oils contain chemicals that takeaways are used for quick and smokeless cooking, which have many adverse health effects. However, Chunky Chicken uses home cooking oil, which is healthier than commercial oil. I've never had any health problems when eating this takeaway. Also, I feel refreshed and no puffy face the next morning and have good digestion, just like when we eat at home. I don't know why chunky chicken care customers more than other takeaways in rochdale.

Order a full chicken platter wowowow the chicken is so tender spicy love it the staff is so familiar and polite 😀 . I become a regular costmar now

I spent £10.00 on four peices if chicken and chips,food good ,Staff ignorant, ni plse or thankyou,even though i said plse and thsnkyou? Will not visit rhis rochdale takeaway again,this place will be shut down unless the staff are friendly and curteous.

Chicken filet to very hard I can’t eat

The food is nice, no doubt. I made a telephone order and came in after the advised 15 minutes. After paying for my food as i entered the restaurant, They had me waiting for another 10 minutes while 3 members of staff stood around chatting. Finally, someone asked for my order number, and the food was there all along.

I've been ordering from last few years,. But i can see their fillets are too smaller now and too expensive it's not worthy the price and the size of the food, even the taste is different nowadays,. nothing like before, staff's are unprofessional, miserable faces when you get in. It's bad to see a place like chunky chicken, where the quality was always the best. I Hope the best.

We come here on Sundays because my son loves the chicken popcorn after his karate class! They staff are friendly and efficient and the food is always fresh and hot! The restaurant is clean, tidy and spacious. Well worth a visit!

Last a few years price for peri burgers 5.10 last year gone to 6.10 now 6.70 I been coming here for the last 8 years but the price is ridiculous we not in manny or london we r in bloody rochdale not a single place u find that sells peri burger for 6.70

The food wasn't great but it wasn't exactly bad. The wings and chips were nice, however the fillet burgers have gone downhill. There small and have no flavouring even when getting them spicy. If they used the coating from the wings then the fillet might have some taste. Abit pricey for what you get. Unfortunately I probably won't be going again as the last time I came were a few months back and the food was slightly better then

Had a peri wrap meal with a perinaise which came to £7.50 If the food was good that might have been justified but it was absolutely shocking. What was once a safe choice on the menu, now doesn’t taste anything like it should. No peri flavour what so ever, the fries even seemed like they were re-heated/fried. Very disappointed with the food, and for that price no reason to be popping in again.

Best Food In Town Peri Burger Extra Peri Mayo & Chilli Sauce 👌🏼

Very poor I ordered a burger without mayo as I’m allergic and when I get home I find they ignored my instructions pretty annoyed 😡 had to bin the food

50/50 some days food is good other Days waste of money. Chicken seems off and they can't take a simple order.. No salad extra chilli sauce to them means..put salad in..No chilli sauce. Dry

Hit and miss with these. For the price food should be consistently good. Not good enough especially when prices go up you'd expect the quality to improve too. Banging when they get it right though but rare. Got 2 full platters couldn't eat the chicken as it was dry as pie.

This is by far the greatest takeaway I’ve ever had. I must order here around 30-40 times a year. It is run like clockwork, the food and flavours are exceptional. Staff are nice and it’s reasonable priced.

We eat here most weekends. The service is super quick and food is so consistently good. I would honestly say this is my favourite takeaway. The Peri peri burger is my absolute favourite! Would give 10 stars if I could. If you haven’t tried it you must!

The most overrated place in Rochdale

Spent 40 pounds yet these bench oats saying give more money for a flipping ketch up food was cold chips were not any good. Orderd one thing was given another. Stinking attitude by staff who think they own the land the sky and the sea believing they are gods gift. If you want your meal ruined then this is the place for a pathetic meal and hospitality.
