Box of bones, not good value, swerve this place

Ordered Asian spicey pizza and peri burger meal! Delivery guy took hour and half to deliver- then asked for more money than initially told on phone. Food was cold and hard pizza was awful just salty not edible. Won’t be ordering again.

The Best Chicken Fillet Burger Meal I Have Had In Stoke.

The food was terrible. I got the grilled fillets with rice and chips - chicken was dry, chips overcooked and rice seemed like it was 3 days old and had been reheated several times and gone hard. I wouldn’t recommend.

Horrible service! Order was accepted. 30mins later was told “on its way” an hour later still no sign of delivery. Tried to get in contact but no answer. Nearly two hours now not heard anything looks like they have chosen to take orders and go home. Avoid this place won’t be ordering again.

If your looking for per peri chicken look no further the chunky chicken is amazing. I opt for the salad as I’m on diet 🤣 The staff are all very friendly and I mainly get served my Ali he is very polite and helpful. Highly recommended

Alls I can say is DISGUSTING! Their food their attitude towards complains is just a disgrace, ordered an ozzy burger which is a CHICKEN FILLET BURGER! We found a bone in it and when we rang to complain the worker blamed it completely on the chicken supplier LOL, wanted a refund but he insisted on sending another burger out. To be honest it put us all off the food and it’s sad to see places like this not even putting the littlest care in their service and food

Food wasn't brilliant, could be a whole lot better. Place is ok, not the cleanest of restaurants. Service is great though, lads always look after you.

Worst pizza we have ever had unfortunately. Reminds me of a £1 frozen pizza. Completely tasteless and looks awful.

So I would start simply, I ordered food, I waited and it arrived on time, unfortunately, the fries were cold, the chicken wings were dry and they tasted like yesterday's, and besides, they didn't give me a drink for the second time, they promised to send it later and that never happened, they are liars, you owe me two drinks for the last four orders and the customer is not obliged to remind you somehow and call you when he orders online and pays by card, this restaurant is not what it used to be and the food is not of the same quality, definitely not, you are liars, you can't do it if you at least promise to bring the drink, then keep it, people they pay for it

Order 10 piece wing meal deals and got finger size wings worth £7 £8. You expect something as a meal if you paying that much not finger size tiny wings

Restaurant accepted the order then cancelled 30 mins later because their driver couldn’t be arsed to drive this far, even though they accepted the order, took our money and charged us relevant delivery! Rang restaurant and was lied to by staff to say there was no one there to deal with a complaint then went and got a manager after I made a fuss about it on the phone. Shocking customer service and the staff are liars! Avoid!!

Ordered a delivery through foodhub bill came to 38.80. When it arrived they tried charge me 41.30 as that was on receipt. I showed them my break down on foodhub. But was still saying there price right.they rang manager to dort. By this time food was getting cold. My kids pizzas were luke warm. I had spicy chicken wings which were luke warm and soggy ihad to put them in my air fryer. The chips with chicken were so soggy and seemed undercooked. Would not eat there again food was awful and can't get over them trying to rip me off.

I had been going there going often with friends.found a long hair in rice and on complain staff started smiling and said its not from us.stopped going there. Unhygienic place .

Order never arrived. Driver delivered the order to the wrong address, restaurant tried to blame someone else for the problem (despite it being an issue on their own end). Customer service guy was very rude, effectively made it clear that they weren't going to do anything to help or even try to. Steer clear.

For me this is a throw back to when they use to have one in my town!! Taste beautiful It is a little expensive in all honestly. Paying £9 for a boneless platter is abit excessive but for me it was just a throwback to the one we use to have in Bradford.

When they first opened they maintained their food quality and service but over time, the service has gone downhill as well as the food. I don’t recommend. Had occasions where the Chickens were not cooked properly. Felt eating rubber!

Delivery charge is so high! Card payment service charge also included. I was fan of chunky chicken but I will never get food delivered from chunky chicken and all my friends tooo.

Today chicken order was horrible. The chicken was dry. What's with all the crumbs at the bottom of the box. Have you changed the chicken recipe.

Rubbish costumer service, as a regular customer for 2 years ... I will not order again. Rice was not cooked at all,fries really could. I asked them to replace the order and I received just the rice after everything else was cold. They said they will refund but a week later. ..still waiting. Ooh ,and very rood staff. Just learn some English, for F... sake.

The staff in this place are rude and arrogant. Do not spend your money here - there's a better place on Waterloo Road called bennys where the staff are polite and the food is better.

Awful food, uncooked - when called to complain the man on the phone was so rude and said he didn’t care and decided to cut the phone off instead of coming to a resolution, initially agreed to offer an new pizza after seeing it was uncooked (photo sent) but because i was going to be at home at a different address refused to deliver it there, then because I said I need it at a different address, or a refund, he was rude and when I told him to come and collect the pizza so they could try it themselves he made a sarcastic comment, proceeded to say they wouldn’t be offering a refund or delivering to alternative address (even tho it was 2 mins away), and then he said “let me tell you something, you know what I don’t care and cut the phone off”. No idea if he was the manager but see screenshots below. Awful service, food also arrived long after due delivery time, cold & uncooked pizza - you can see how uncooked the cheese is. Additionally, he went onto lie and say they cooked 2 pizza’s at the same time, and the other customer hadn’t complained (at this point he had already offered a new pizza but I just wasn’t going to be at the original delivery address). Wouldn’t order from them again, or recommend them to anyone else.

In terms of food quality - the best Chunky Chicken ive ever been to ! The food was very hot, freshly grilled, 100% satisfaction ! Other Chunky's need to follow these guys by example. Keep up the good work.

First word that comes into mind when I received the food was "disgusting" I ordered this food on the 3rd of april 2021 The delivery time was a little over time which i don't mind however when receiving the food, I got a horrid greasy chunky chicken box that was covered in grease, so much grease in fact that the box was almost not a box but instead a wet piece of paper. This was not the only problem I had, the chicken tasted nice but after eating one piece my stomach couldn't muster another piece, I don't know what they put in the chicken however my stomach didn't take it so kindly. I am assuming it was food poisoning. I am very open minded when it comes to ordering takeouts, I like trying different places and foods however I can happily say this was not the first time order of a takeout I was looking for. I highly doubt i will be ordering from here in the future.

Never ordering from here again, I had 2 peace of chicken and hot wings the two peace of chicken was all black inside, really dodgy taste to it, I ask for 2 chicken breast, I got a leg and thigh, I had a bite off each and it all went in the bin

Ordered from them 3 meals with wings, one zinger burger, one plain and one normal. All 3 came wrong, no plain burger and didn't have a zinger one too. Not even there to deal with complains. Very disappointing.

Just ordered for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! We hade two pizzas, both were fresh and super tasty! The best garlic bread we have ever had from a take out and a wrap with hot wings. Fast delivery and we will definitely be ordering again!

Recently moved to Stoke for Uni. This is by far the best fast food in Stoke, constantly bringing friends and family here to eat. The food is amazing and consistently fresh. Staff are always so pleasant to talk to. Would highly highly recommend x

Good food ,quick service in shop or delivery

First and last order last week, missing chips not very warm and not great taste either and way too expensive

Having recently moved into the area, we decided we were tired of unpacking and I was too tired to cook so we walked up the road to Chunky Chicken. First thing we noticed was how clean and bright it looked. The menu was exciting and catered for all ages and tastes, from chicken and burgers, to freshly made pizza. The young man that served us was polite and came across as very genuine. We ordered 3 meals to take away and walked home. Talk about way better than KFC it was amazing. Very tasty and great value for money. We will definitely be making this our once a month take away treat. Bonus is, they deliver too, but we really do live just down the road so don't mind the walk.
