Box of bones, not good value, swerve this place

I have been going in captain fry for a few years now and it was always good. It as now been taken over and the service is hopeless and chips and fritters are grease and not cooked properly will not use there again

SCAM. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Ordered through deliveroo, never received food even though they took the money. I’ll never have it refunded. 1) deliveroo claimed they cannot do anything about this because the restaurant uses their own drivers. 2) everytime i attempted to call the restaurant (15+ times) it went to voicemail. 3) deliveroo claimed the restaurant said i had received the order? I’ve seen other reviews and problems similar to mine. Awful service, shouldn’t be supported through apps such as Deliveroo, uber.eats or just eat. Poor.

Food arrived quickly. First and last time. Food over cooked and over priced Even the chips were chewable as the pork. All the items were luke warm. Never again

Never had a a bad takeaway from this place. We were in Cleethorpes a month ago and were treated to "the best fish and chip shop in Cleethorpes" but as I was eating it I thought Costas was better! Keep it up guys, and remember people are more likely to leave a review if they have a negative experience and look how many great reviews they have.
