Good wasn’t what we ordered. We were charged for extras but didn’t receive them. Man behind the counter clearly didn’t listen to us. Food was cold, burger bun was hard. Don’t waste your money!

A few nights ago me and my partner got food from here. Once we started eating it at home we noticed our chicken burgers were pink in the middle. My partner went to their branch today and the worker she spoke with was rude and when she showed him the photo he become defensive and accused her of photoshopping the image. She asked for a refund and this was refused. When she challenged him further he threw two pound at her. The workers in this branch are rude, unprofessional and don’t cook their chicken properly. It’s is an absolute disgrace how they treat their customers.

I've complained to the restaurant and was told to complain to Just Eat. I told Just Eat that the driver goes to another destination first and then delivers my food. The delivery time keeps changing and the wait keeps getting longer but Just Eat puts it down for traffic when in reality it's the driver delivering at another place. This gives me cold food and a bad impact on the restaurant.

Guy behind the till couldn't be more depressed

Gave my son a raw chicken burger, he was eating in took it back counter, they told him it was ok & refused to listen to him did not offer to exchange it, went in the bin, he & his friends will not be going back, The quality & service is not like it use to be, bullying young kids not acceptable !

Tried to tricked for our order plus second guy after us almost got tricked on 40 £ Didnt want to give us a bottle of water what I paid for . Please make ur staff trained or just close your shop

I got a takeaway 2 weeks back , it wasn't great and the attitude of the guy behind the counter was poor. So I thought I'd give it a second chance last night. Walked in, only to be screamed at... (by the same guy) .. "YES!!!". No "yes please", or "what can I get you?", or "how can I help..." etc. To be honest, the place looked grubby and shabby anyhow. Never again.

Disgusting shop horrible service from a short guy disgusting manners think he does not know how to talk to people at all he said he wanted to fight me outside the shop so I told him come outside he try shout in my face was rude swearing saying fowl words I took pictures of his face as I felt he was very insulting just looked at me as a wrongen from when I walked into the shop stereotyped me for no reason other people in shop nice but this guy was absolutely horrid I will be taking this further than just a review as he needs to be taught a lesson

I regularly use this place as I've never had bad stuff. This time not only was the food cold, but the chicken bones in the spicy wings (my favourite) were blood red. I simply couldn't risk eating them so binned them. Pizza was lukewarm at best, but was really good when warmed up. Disappointing when I consider the previously great service.

I bought two chicken burger meals with ten chicken wings meal, brothers..!! If your food is Halal please you got to display a certificate inside your shop where customers can see it, get rid of the word حلال written with red paint on shop window…also I have noticed while you serving customers at the till …you dealing with money ! You can not just turn and touch the food with a same hands at least put some vinyl gloves, let me finish with this..am really sorry but the quality of the chicken breast and wings with the chips are poor,

They gave me the wrong pizza! I ordered salami, they gave me ham and pineapple 🤢!

Made an order for a simple meal, I had made some notes for the food to be customised, for example mushroom not on the pizza and the burger with no salad or sauce. Not only was this request ignored but the also sent the pizza as the hot and spicy one, not good for a pregnant lady. I called the restaurant to complain and was told this will be rectified and resent to me, hour passes and I hear nothing, I called back to be told by the restaurant they have no drivers and I need to go and collect it.

I've ordered from here before, so was a little disappointed with the quality of the food for the price. The apple pie for £2.80 was not a slice but a regular mcdonalds kind of apple pie...I know prices have gone up but really?! The pizza was ok...not much flavour and not very deep pan which I ordered. The cheesy garlic bread never disappoints so I knew what I was getting. Overall I paid £25 on dinner which was ok, but it will be a treat from now on I think.

Pizza fresh and delicious. However, I didn’t receive the wings/wedges/coleslaw with the combo deal I ordered and couldn’t request a refund for that, only for the full order. Let’s see what Just Eat says.

It was my 1st time ordering from here, I ordered their kebab & chicken tikka wraps, they were both disgusting, tasted like old flavourless meat & they weren’t even wrapped in tortilla like they should’ve been, just ingredients tossed on & just sent out, don’t waste your money here, theres better quality takeaways on just eat.

I go to Chucky Chicken once in a year when me and my daughter really want to eat local pizza and not the one from the big brands. Chunky Chicken is obviously not healthy but it's tasty and value for money.They are very popular among the school kids and local community but they have to definitely realise their food is very high on salt and it's not great for anyone's health. I am a massive fan of chunky chicken pizza but they have unfortunately closed the ilford Lane branch and I was craving their food, unfortunately this branch is horrendous, the hygiene to food quality is world's apart, I ordered the tikka burger, 9 inch pizza and wings which were awful. I would recommend a refurb and guidance in matching the quality of ilford Lane and barking.

Me and my friend ate there many times, sometimes the wings was really nasty and from one day before, okay happened once, but second time, 3rd time, I said myself never again even if it’s free. Some positive feedback: The staff are friendly 😏, 2/5 burgers and wings was really tasty and nice, because might I was lucky when it was freshly made. Price are really good, I don’t know about now because when I am passing the shop every day I remember the bad taste. The meat inside the burger was raw, I didn’t believed it when my mate showed me and few bites of mine was raw too (middle of the meat) I prefer to walk 7 mins to the Cottage chicken from there, where there is an one negative point they not accept card payment, but really good wings.

I just picked up a meal deal and the wings tasted absolutely disgusting they give you the small wings which had a smell to them. Chips were not good had a funny taste. I will not be ordering from them again.

Where to start, chicken wings were raw, awful. Chicken burger was hard, buns were hard. Chips were not seasoned at all and just really bad. Good prices but bad food.

My daughter came from school and was utterly hungry and went to get 10 chicken niblets , one of the staff gave her 2 proper chicken niblets and 8 thin wings. I am very disappointed by their dishonesty. Every time I went here I always got the proper chicken niblets, I don’t know if this is a new staff or a dishonest staff. Be careful when you buy your food!

This is my local chicken shop and it serves up some tasty food at a reasonable price. Since moving into the area not so long ago, we have used the Chunky Chicken and Pizza shop on numerous occasions. The staff serving are friendly and the food is always hot and well cooked. The chips are amazing! Even though this might sound like an exaggeration…being able to pay by card is an absolute winner as I’m the type of person that doesn’t carry cash around very often, which makes it much more convenient when purchasing. Overall the service, pricing and quality of food is great.

I have had 6 spicy wings and chips . I have eaten 1 .the second was awful tasted very nasty .I was vomiting and had bad stomach ache... Went back and told the manager about it . He said I never served you but the guy who served you is at back I saw him I said yes it:s him.but my point is why are you selling old wings from yesterday he didn't say nothing so I left and told him you are lucky this time .I won't come back again .with bad review. He said I can give you fresh ones now .I replied why the ones you gave weren't fresh.

I come in to your place all the time because your food is good and for a reasonable price But tonight I thought I’d order from you and get it delivered. Completely changed my view of you as an establishment, your guy on the phone is plain rude and also can’t actually do his job, blaming me for his over and over mistakes. Hung up on me twice and I don’t even know if he’s even put the order in because it’s been almost hour and I’m only down the road. Culinary excellence in the form of deep fried poultry. This is a VERY good chicken shop. As someone who had never tried fried chicken before moving to London, I've since developed a deep and abiding love for the stuff. I'd estimate that I've had fried chicken from around fifty different vendors and would rank this in second place. The portions are a good size, the meat is juicy and fresh and the chips, to quote the late Umberto Eco, are 'on point'. They also do pizzas, the sort of which I can heartily recommend if you are planning an evening of watching sky sports with a few cold lager beers. Chunky's - keep up the good work. You are a credit to the local community.

Food was decent, I called prior to my visit if they had parking and they said yes which was not the case as I was not familiar with the area.

Good for a late night pizza. Ingredients very salty though - be prepared to wake up very thirsty afterwards!
