Christys Takeaway in Plymouth

Quite literally the best potato wedges I've eaten in my life. Rest of the food is great too, pizzas, veggie burgers and scampi is all great, but seriously, the wedges though - elite tier.

Would rate 0 if I could!!! Do not go there, the food is disgusting and the prices are priced way over the odds, especially for what you are receiving, daylight robbery! £1.80 for curry sauce that looks like lumpy sick and tastes like it's gone off! Charged me more than they should have and the slowest service ever! Won't ever be going back, worried if I've been food poisoned now. Place should be shut down and thats me being nice.

Probably one of the worst kebabs in Plymouth. The kebab is cooked and then put in the microwave in front of you. For some reason they cover the food in lime juice from a bottle, so all you can taste is dry meat and lime juice. Disgusting. You can also tell that the shop is very dirty and needs a good clean. The guy serving is extremely rude and clearly doesn't care. The woman server was polite.

Found a dead daddy long legs in my kebab good job I was not drunk.

Ordered some food from them waited abit then They sent an email say didn't go through checked my bank they took the money so I couldn't get nothing else still waiting for my refund been a week tryed email them message don't send spoke to them at their shop and they said to wait it been refunded

The man behind the counter was sweating that much, it was dripping everywhere. He was also using his hand to wipe his sweat and then was handling food. While I was waiting i didn't see him wash his hands or use something to wipe his sweat up. It made me feel sick watching him sort out peoples food. I got put off all my food and couldn't eat what he had handled. Very low hygiene. First time coming here and will not be returning

Crazily expensive, a long wait just for chips. Wasn't entirely convinced at the staff competence.

Ordered kebab special pizza and small chips. Both were really tasty chips lovely and crisp, and the staff were very nice.

My ‘go to’ pizza place, easy to order, lovely food for a good price delivery time is reasonable and honestly all worth a little bit of a wait x

This place is seriously awesome. The owner is incredibly nice. You get more than enough food for 8 pounds. My go to take out meal in Plymouth. Try the chicken wrap with chili sauce for sure!

Soggy greasy chips every time I've been here. Nearly always end up chucking them in the bin as there no go to even the seagulls.

Just eat service was amazing no issues there. Just don't understand for somebody who opens at 5 and we get food delivered at like 5.15 that the kebab can be cold and chips soggy and disgusting?! How long in advance before you open do you cook the stuff?! About 24 hours?! My food was inedible. Absolute waste of money.

Cancelled order after an hour of waiting leaving family hungry, called and apparently not their fault, car broke down, too many orders and just eats fault, didnt know their heads from their a$$es wont be using again.

Absolutely shocking ordered from this place and after waiting an hour and 20 minutes i contacted them to find out where our order was to be told they'd tried to contact us which they hadn't having to wait that long and with kids waiting too I will never be ordering from this place ever again

I ordered southern fried chicken, not a pet one for my garden! Once ringing up to complain the chicken was still very much raw and clucking their response was "I assure you that it's not raw it's just slightly pink and will fall off the bone." Will not be ordering from here again.

I have been going here for over 10 years and I love it. not necessarily healthy (same as every takeaway lol) but it is my one stop for indulgence or comfort food.
